The aroma is a delicacy; it’s enjoyed immensely. It has an undeclared note of soft, easy-to-please leather that blends perfectly with a dark vanilla and a medley of spices. The issue with this perfume is the performance. I don’t know how it was before, but in current batches, 10 sprays aren’t enough to keep the perfume with you for 7 hours… It reaches the 5th hour if you’re generous. What a pity. This perfume with good performance could be a must-buy…

@Ikrr if you like it, use it without fear and without worrying about which audience it’s directed toward.

  • Very good perfume, spicy, cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco, ideal for winter. It’s an elegant perfume that invites intimacy.

  • peperinafragancia

Slightly sweet, woody cinnamon. It’s masculine due to the noticeable wood. I find it pleasant and interesting; the cinnamon is what stands out the most, so you have to like cinnamon and your surroundings too. It’s noticeable that these are high-quality ingredients. I think it’s the best cinnamon perfume I’ve tried.

  • The first hit is a blend of cinnamon, cumin, and tobacco, a good warm spicy opening that finally turns into an exquisite sweet tobacco dry-down. Whisky? I’d say almost none… In its dry-down, it ends with vanilla and light tobacco, being quite pleasant to wear on cold nights and possibly cold days too. Happily adding it to my collection.

Finally, I can review it now that after a long time it’s back in stock, and I can say it’s worth it, but only if you find it at a good price, as I’ve seen it selling for $180, which seems exorbitant for something it’s not worth. Well, speaking of the scent, it has a quite pleasant aroma at the start; you can feel the cumin very realistically. Personally, I didn’t like it at first because it smelled like sweaty clothes, but this scent lasts about 10 to 15 minutes. Then comes the scent that has so much hype: a rich, realistic vanilla with cinnamon, with a tobacco that doesn’t reach being annoying or mature, and the saffron gives it that floral touch. Final conclusion: buy it if you like warm and spicy scents at a good price. As I mentioned earlier, in my country, Chile, it’s a world away to find it, but eventually, some batches arrived at an average price of $90 to $80.

  • Honestly, the opening doesn’t convince me; I notice it’s too intense with a note that doesn’t smell right. However, every second that passes it improves, and after an hour or so, you can smell a delicious vanilla with cinnamon. It’s masculine due to the wood and spice notes. I recommend trying it, and if you like the dry-down, buy it.

  • I bought it today and was hugely disappointed. This isn’t what I tested… When I tested it a month ago, the opening was strong, something like pepper or spices that literally knocked me back, and once it dried, shortly after, it had a scent I loved. Today, with the freshly opened bottle, the opening smells more chemical/artificial/alcoholic, typical of cheap colognes, not strong at all. Before, I didn’t like the opening, but it was curious and had ‘clean’ notes without perceiving chemistry. The dry-down always appealed to me more. The part that stood out most is now more muted, and the sweetness reminds me at times of playdough. It takes much longer to reach its ‘prime.’ When I tested it a month ago, I loved it because it was very similar to Initio Rehab, but much cheaper. Now, without being an expert, I’d say the quality of the notes has generally dropped; it’s drifted a bit further from Initio Rehab and its EDT sibling (before I noticed them as more similar). I think olfactory fatigue isn’t letting me perceive the trail well, but I believe it still smells strong; however, with the notes that caught my attention fading, I understand it won’t stand out as much. I like it, yes. But I haven’t liked anything other than what I tested. I’d say it’s more discreet, but it maintains good projection and longevity.

  • I love it; it has become my favorite perfume. It feels creamier than the EDT version. I thought it would last less than the toilette, but honestly, its longevity is a bit better. Maybe it’s the batch, I don’t know. But the opening is addictive, super spicy. It’s a winter perfume, but now I use it in spring and it works well.

  • Analyze or criticize it all you want, but one thing is certain: this fragrance has gotten reactions from women that no other scent has managed to. If several ladies, at different times, literally sigh, come up to smell it, and confirm that you smell delicious, then I have nothing more to say. Winning fragrance.

  • This fragrance has a problem that works in its favor: it’s hard to get. Why? Because they know that if they mass-produce it, they’d have to reformulate it to avoid losing money, and they know it succeeds by being scarce. Let me tell you a reality: it’s not a big deal; it’s like a Man in Black by Bulgari but a bit sweeter and less “serious.” Don’t go broke buying from resellers; its scent isn’t a big deal, believe me. You won’t miss out; once it starts being mass-produced, they’ll realize it’s just hype because it’s hard to get.

  • A true delight that I love returning to every winter. Initio clearly took inspiration from this line for their Rehab.

  • Joan Exequiel Puche Marin

Incredible. A very good scent; the whisky note is very prominent. Great perfume. I’d recommend using it daily, but that’s up to each person. Thanks.

  • I’d been wanting to smell it for months and finally bought it blindly online. I bought it along with an Azzaro and wore both last night (one on each hand) to test them; damn it, the only thing that smelled when moving my hands was the Azzaro. That shocked me because the hype on social media said it was a Beast Mode with a super heavy trail and a sexual bomb (according to CurlyFragance), and that wasn’t the sensation. That said, I love the scent: spicy vanilla tobacco that opens strong and softens over time, smelling sweeter and more vanilla-like. But I’m worried about performance; the Azzaro, even as an EDT, still smells on my skin after 10 hours, and there’s no trace of the Spicebomb. I suppose I’ll test more this weekend, but the first impression was disappointing. Update: correction, it’s a great perfume that doesn’t disappoint. Since I was worried about performance, I was generous with the sprays. Bad idea; it started stinging my nose. Next time I’ll be more measured. The scent still enchants me; that spicy vanilla tobacco turning sweeter is incredible, almost addictive. Curiously, my partner doesn’t like it, probably due to the strong spicy opening, but they’ll have time to give it another shot.

  • Exquisite perfume with the vanilla, tobacco, and whisky combo. Very warm and cozy; good duration but not much projection. Ideal for dates, preferably late and especially at night, particularly in autumn and winter.

  • fedemenendeez

Designer niche perfume. A bomb of sweet spices, with a very realistic cumin note that’s particularly present—I love cumin, but be aware not everyone will. It feels like a challenge, and I love certain perfume challenges; I’m super satisfied here. It’s a mainstream sweetness mixed with this challenging cumin; without the cumin, it would be a Paco Rabanne or something from the One Million line, but these spices make it unique. It arrived an hour and a half ago, I have it on my arm, and it hasn’t lost intensity. I’ll update later on how long it lasted and its projection.

  • I’ve had it for a short time; I bought it blindly trusting I’d like it, and it exceeded my expectations. It’s very different from what we smell daily: spicy opening, a spice bomb with just the right amount of sweetness (I don’t like very sweet fragrances). Ideal for standing out in cold climates. It’s dense, radiant, causes interest, and earns compliments.

  • Marco Reus507

I bought it blindly looking for these notes and now I have more sweet perfumes than fresh or versatile ones, but here goes: it smells like warm, sweet, very masculine oriental spices; I barely sense the alcohol, so I’ll let it macerate to see if it improves. I liked it but don’t recommend buying blindly; I first heard it and thought it was an Arabic scent, turns out it’s the Odyssey Black by Armaf (a dupe of Tom Ford Noir Extreme), and yes, they smell the same. I hope it’s not a new batch and lasts long, since women adore it. I give it an 8.5/10; if maceration reveals the alcohol like in Kismet Angel (a dupe of Angel Share at 99% for $30), I’ll bump the rating, but I loved it.

  • fire_flex

Great vibe if you catch it at the right price; right now, nothing really casts a shadow over it. Literally a bomb of pepper and vanilla. The quality matches what you pay, though I’d go for Initio Rehab, which is much better executed and less strident.

  • Padmasambhava

It’s not as bombastic as they say. However, it projects well and lasts as long as a fragrance should (8 hours). It fixes very well on my skin; I applied it before going to play ball, and after finishing, it was still lingering… My perception describes the cinnamon at its peak, very highlighted, followed by a calmer pepper and tobacco… I detect the cardamom closer to the skin, but it’s there incredibly. Anyway, an excellent perfume for cold nights; 5 sprays are good…

  • I bought it blindly after reading reviews and it was a mistake, especially since I already own the SB original. The Extreme lasts shorter, leaves less of a trail, and smells almost identical; I prefer the original. I see they reformulated it after 2020, and my batch is from 2022. If I have to choose, I’d buy the original blindly.

  • Gentlemen, if you find Essencia de Flores Intense Man by Fragrance World, buy it; it smells exactly like this, with the caveat that it has an incredible price. I bought mine for $20, and what a fantastic perfume it is. 100% recommended.

  • After trying almost every flanker in the line, I finally got to wear this version and understood the hype around Spicebomb Extreme. It’s an addictive masterpiece, a bomb of spices, tobacco, and vanilla that hooks you from the first spray. Its performance is acceptable: it lasts and projects enough, though personally I’d love for it to be even more impactful, considering the potent profile it proposes. It’s one of those perfumes ideal for nighttime situations and dates, with a warm aura and extremely attractive. Undoubtedly, one of the most seductive and magnetic fragrances in this style. Highly recommended.

  • A work of art for me… That vanilla and tobacco combo, combined with cinnamon, is felt from the very beginning. Excellent saffron heart. I first heard it at a department store in the USA, and I just sprayed one atomizer on my wrist… with that, my car filled with its rich scent. After 8-10 hours, I got home, had showered, cleaned my wrist, and it still smelled faintly. Next week, I bought my own bottle. It’s heavy, but I’d even wear it daily, haha. Amazing perfume, 10/10.

  • I tried it yesterday at my trusted store. What a fantastic perfume. Cinnamon dominates, and like the reviewer below, I barely detect any vanilla. I must say, the perfume doesn’t seem as ‘party-ready’ as others claim; rather, it feels more elegant, perfect for an evening meeting. Longevity is quite good; I’m still analyzing the projection. 10/10 for this one.

  • The more I use it, the more I like it. You’ll smell cinnamon and spices. I don’t detect much vanilla. As they say, it smells like Christmas.

  • Wonderful perfume, delicious, and perfect for night outs. Don’t use it for meetings or similar occasions.

I first encountered this perfume at an airport in 2023, smelled it, and loved it, but it wasn’t in my budget at the time. Later, I searched for it, but I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find in Chile. I’ve had mine for about six months now, and I can say it’s an absolute gem—a perfume to be used exclusively in cold environments (winter/cold nights). The cinnamon, bourbon, and vanilla notes dominate, and it’s incredibly addictive. You won’t go unnoticed with this scent, plus the longevity is brutal; for me, it easily lasts 8 hours with just 6 sprays. In warmer climates, maybe 25°C or higher, it could become bothersome; I’ve used it a couple of times in those conditions, and the bourbon becomes too prominent, turning slightly unpleasant. It’s an ideal perfume for a date or dinner (not family gatherings). I wouldn’t use it for meetings or daily wear. For me, it’s a 10/10. Too bad it’s so hard to find.

  • Only for winter nights, but an incredible option for that. It has it all: pleasant, personal, and unique. It’s not oversaturated because it’s hard to find (and a bit pricey for a non-niche brand, which is worth noting). It doesn’t have the same potency as before (they reformulated it), but unlike the EDT, which feels weak, this has just enough performance to make an impression without being overwhelming. Some people are put off by the prominent cardamom note (quite noticeable as it dries down and clings more to certain skin types), and I get it, but I think that’s partly why it elicits such reactions from women. If this doesn’t get you compliments… well, for whatever reason, you definitely weren’t born to receive them (no big deal anyway: just enjoy it). Scent: 9 Projection: 7 Longevity: 7.5

  • What a beautiful perfume, one of the best designer scents out there. Top-tier performance, very sexy and masculine; you’re guaranteed to get compliments. The only downside is that I don’t see it as versatile enough for daily wear or the office. It’s the king of winter nights, pure sex appeal.

  • A total disappointment. What happened to me is what others say: the tester at El Corte Inglés smells amazing, but what they sell you is a downgraded reformulation. It projects very little and smells like cheap synthetic perfume. Despite that, I give it two stars because it’s not annoying and you can smell the vanilla, tobacco, and spices pleasantly. It doesn’t bother anyone, and since it doesn’t project much, it’s versatile, so I’ll probably finish the bottle—something I don’t say about many others. But it’s not worth the price unless you find an early batch.

  • There are more complaints lately because longevity and projection are terrible. I’m not talking about the old reformulation; on my skin it’s just skin scent after two and a half hours. I bought it at El Corte Inglés and it’s original. PS: The scent is spectacular, but it’s only for intimate dates because it projects nothing from a distance.

  • I love it. I’ve had it for years and see it as the modern, sparkly sister of Bulgari’s Man in Black. Great winter buy, ideal for men over 25.

  • On Skin Parfums

I picked up Spicebomb Extreme by Viktor&Rolf for about €75 with shipping included in 2025—yes, there are good deals if you look hard. It’s a sexy, noticeable scent. Of course, with vanilla and cumin, some won’t like it. It’s a gamble: some will love it, but don’t get mad if people say they can’t handle it because it’s strong. Recommended sprays: 5-7 in Autumn, 6-10 in Winter. On my dry skin it lasts 7-8 hours and on clothes all day. On someone with better skin, it hit 9 hours. The first three hours are strong, from 4 to 5 it drops a bit, 5 to 7 is a personal bubble, then skin scent. For me it’s masculine, for dates or parties. It’s bolder than elegant. Would I recommend it? Yes.

  • Sometimes it smells like rich sweet vanilla and tobacco, other times like disgusting cumin—it’s Russian roulette.

  • Look, friend, you’ll never find this original for $30; it’s definitely fake. Someone had to tell you that.

  • Emmanuel_Santos

I bought it and it’s rich, but as everyone says, the trail is just a personal bubble unless you spray more than 10 times. That’s why don’t pay over $30—I got mine for $24. Check YouTube on how to spot fakes: look for simple packaging and QR codes, be careful. It’s a gem by Carlos Benaim, but not a bomb in projection. If you want it to last, buy three bottles; one isn’t enough. For perspective, one spray of Hawas Malibu equals four or five of this in potency.

  • It smells incredible, but the trail dies out in 30 minutes and it clings to the skin. Real longevity is only 4-5 hours, so at $80, it’s a total rip-off.
