It’s a gorgeous spiced vanilla. At first, the pepper and nutmeg hit hard, but the bergamot gives them a soft brightness. I catch a leather note that reminds me of a luxury handbag. The patchouli is very earthy at first. As it dries, the vanilla takes over, making everything sweeter, softer, and brighter. I don’t really notice the neroli or rose; they’re almost invisible. It lasts about six hours, has low projection but you can definitely tell it’s there. It’s classic, elegant, and tasteful. I love Nathalie Lorson’s creations for this brand: they have a retro yet modern vibe, are well-crafted, and very evocative.

A very distinctive fragrance. It opens boldly, with pink pepper and nutmeg immediately noticeable. Then it evolves into undeniable perfection. As it develops, the earthy patchouli stands out; don’t be put off by the opening as it can seem unusual—just wait for it to settle. Then comes the sweet, enveloping tonka bean, followed by vanilla that gradually emerges. The neroli adds creaminess but doesn’t dominate. The result is sweet, fresh, spicy, and aromatic, with a balsamic touch. The trail is wide without being heavy. It lasts over eight hours; afterward, you just want to smell your own arm. Rose and bergamot linger in the background. It’s versatile, perfect for fall and winter, amazing, and a true delight. With a vintage character, it’s sophisticated and alluring. I’m absolutely thrilled. It reminds me more of Cuir Beluga than Tonka Imperiale by Guerlain.
