  • A particularly pleasant perfume due to the agarwood, saffron, leather, suede, and sandalwood notes, with adequate fixation on the skin, especially if you have changing skin. At first, I notice the vanilla, then tobacco, afterwards the leather and saffron. On the skin, it leaves a permanent scent that lasts hours and is slightly addictive. I like to use it daily after a shower; it creates an image of an adventurer but very solid, like an earthy person.

  • To create this fragrance, they planted an oud plantation in Australia… there’s not much more to add. Just for that, it deserves recognition. It’s a warm, seductive woody-spiced aroma, where the combo is mainly driven by saffron, oud, and vanilla. Be warned, this isn’t intimidating; although it seems super intense and polarizing, I find it easy to wear. It’s a very friendly oud, not dirty at all, and I think it could be a good approach for beginners. Only at the beginning, as it dries down, do you perceive an animal character, more from the leather than the oud, but it fades quickly. When dried, it has a light talcum point accompanying that smoky, sweet, velvet vanilla. Quite versatile, perhaps better for temperate/cold climates. I see it as 100% unisex, though I think it will appeal more to the feminine side. Moderate/high projection, not annoying. Longevity on skin > 8 hours. I have to be honest, I like it a lot and see it as extremely high quality. However, I wouldn’t buy a bottle because in the dry-down it reminds me, saving distance, of Rochas Byzance. Maybe I’m crazy because I haven’t heard anyone make this comparison, but on my skin it does remind me quite a bit (70-80% similar)… and we’re talking about a perfume that costs almost 10 times less with spectacular performance. Still, I recommend trying it, it’s worth it.

Silky Woods is easy and understated, one of the top 10 I’ve tried and am lucky to own. Since trying it, it always has that synapse-pleasing effect on the mind. If I had to simplify it, it smells like fresh ‘Starburst’ candies straight from the factory, with a simply addictive, edible sweetness. Breaking it down, it’s a vanilla perfume with very elegant suede and a creamy sandalwood giving a unique velvet sensation. Other notes are noticeable, mainly spices and flowers I can’t identify, but the combination is magnificent. It doesn’t evolve much, just leaving a sweeter woody nuance at the end, probably the oud, but it’s absolutely not hard to enjoy. Honestly, it doesn’t remind me of anything else, though Mercedes Benz Club Black is a good starting point to understand that similar vanilla sensation, more powdery than dense, like floral sugar. For cold and temperate climates, any occasion, very warm and captivating, with excellent performance. I love this perfume and think Goldfield & Banks pulled it straight out of the stadium. My only gripe is the high price, but I think it’s worth it, though I invite you to try it. Rating: 100/10.

Silky, warm, and delicate vanilla with a soft suede-leather base and spices. A classy, original perfume that isn’t a projection bomb; the oud and suede-leather are well-integrated, not overwhelming but giving prominence to that spiced vanilla, which isn’t too gourmand. I’m not a fan of the brand’s fresh summer fragrances due to their short longevity and sillage (about 4 hours); I prefer the Italian style. But this ‘Botanical series’ is on another level for longevity and quality. I like them all, though some lean feminine, all are wearable by men. Silky Woods has great longevity and is very sexy, ideal for a date in autumn or spring nights, though it might be too short for very cold winter days.

  • What a precious fragrance, although I wouldn’t buy it at its price point. I already have cheaper vanillas that I absolutely adore. It smells like rich, woody, spiced vanilla; saffron and cinnamon touch lightly at the start. Then it moves into a smoky phase with tobacco hints, settling into a warm vanilla with a subtle oud that highlights the wood and soft leather. It clings to the skin for hours. I don’t notice the listed florals. Moderate sillage, lasting about 10 hours. It’s unisex, though the strong vanilla leans feminine. It’s similar to several in the ‘reminds me of’ section but isn’t identical to any. I loved trying it; it mixes innocent vanilla with a dark, mysterious base, but for now, I’m not buying it. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 6/10, Value 5/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? No, I didn’t purchase it.

Super similar to Dionysus by Tiziana Terenzi, one of my favorite vanilla scents. I have a sample and when I wore it, I thought it was 90% or more identical. A while later, my partner saw me and I said, ‘Smell me’ (I get a bit pushy with the ‘smell me’ requests), and he immediately said, ‘Are you wearing Dionysus?’. Warm, sweet but slightly salty vanilla (like with ambergris), cozy and sexy. You can detect the suede, but it’s not scary, very soft, like a caress. I’m fascinated by the longevity and moderate projection: about 5 hours. The first two hours smell great on me; from the third hour on, it stays on the collar of my shirt, but it accompanies me perfectly. Unisex.

It’s a velvet vanilla that appears with a more noticeable suede at first but softens as it dries. I imagined it with more force, but it’s more of a personal cloud and elegant aroma. I couldn’t break down the notes with great differences, as I feel it’s very balanced, with the powdery vanilla being what prevails most. It’s very pretty and allows using it as a signature perfume without issues; it doesn’t seem dark or mysterious because the woody part remains subtle, just like the leather. It seems sensual and intriguing to a certain extent. I understand it has Australian raw materials, but it’s a vanilla that reminds me slightly of others. I was very excited to try it because the notes attracted me; it’s winter in Chile and I feel it’s short on sillage. I’ll see how it goes in a warmer season.

Velvety vanilla that gains strength with suede upon application but softens as it dries. I imagined it with more impact; it’s more of a personal, elegant cloud scent. I can’t break down the notes; they’re very balanced, with powdery vanilla prevailing. It’s beautiful and works perfectly as a signature scent. I understand it uses Australian raw materials, but it smells slightly like other vanillas. I was so excited; it’s winter in Chile and I feel the sillage is a bit short. I’ll see how it performs in warmer weather.

  • My head is blown away. I saw it on a YouTube video and ordered niche samples; this was the first one from the site. It’s totally different from my designer perfumes. After using up the sample, I felt compelled to buy the original at full price since it’s my first niche purchase, but it was worth every penny. A good investment if you’re a fan and want to smell different. Although it’s unisex, I feel comfortable wearing it, as other unisex scents felt too masculine on my skin, but this is a sensory delight. I’d like more longevity, but I’ve read there’s an extrait version to try later. Don’t buy blindly at this price; always test with a sample first.

  • In short, an absolute masterpiece. Different vanilla (nothing pastry-like or synthetic), spiced and warm, incredibly silky and cozy. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. Despite the oud, it’s not animalic at all, which was one of my biggest fears. Perfect for autumn and winter, though I wore it in summer when I first tried it and fell in love. A real gem.

  • I can’t believe it. After waiting a month for the vial, it smells like injectable insulin the moment I spray it. To my nose, it’s very masculine: lots of suede, saffron, and tobacco. I can only guess at the jasmine, ylang, or sandalwood by reading the notes, and the vanilla is sweet, very similar to Le Couvent des Minuit. I’m so disappointed I don’t know how to describe it better, sorry.

  • I can’t believe it. After a month of waiting, the spray smells like insulin for diabetics. To my nose, it’s super masculine—suede, saffron, and tobacco. Do you smell the jasmine just because it’s listed in the notes, same with ylang or sandalwood? The vanilla is cloying, very similar to Le Couvent des Minimes. I’m so disappointed I don’t know what else to say, I’m sorry.😔

  • Spiced, warm, and cozy vanilla, nothing overly sweet. Be curious about the projection: it’s subtle up close, but people around you can smell it from several meters away in enclosed spaces. 9/10.

  • I bought it because of the TikTok and YouTube hype, expecting spices, vanilla, oud, and something sweet. The only thing I’ve caught is an old, musty vanilla—probably the Australian sandalwood or suede making it smell like that. But I can’t stand it. I recommend trying it before spending the money.

  • Bought it because of the TikTok and YouTube hype, expecting vanilla, oud, and something sweet. All I got is old, musty vanilla—probably from the Australian sandalwood or suede. I absolutely can’t stand it. Highly recommend testing before buying.

  • Leather, lavender, and oud: an elegant, easy-to-wear leather that makes you feel good and distinguished. It’s not biker leather, but a silky one paired with vanilla and sandalwood.

  • Velvety vanilla that doesn’t last or project much, but that makes it even more delicate and special. It smells more like autumn than winter, perfect for those chilly spring days.
