The Sandor evokes the mythical trendy bar of the 70s in Barcelona, where everything was meant to be seen. Picture people smoking and flirting on aristocratic leather sofas; this fragrance captures that essence with three pillars: suede, tobacco, and Spanish leather. It opens with fresh bergamot blending with old-school florals over a smoky base of patchouli and oakmoss. The tobacco smoke from the start merges with a cured, floral, and dry leather, projecting incredible energy that transports you to that decade, full of light and magnetism. However, as it dries down, it loses that magnetic appeal for a burnt tobacco smoke that lingers on the skin and dims the 70s dream. A spectacular opening, but a disappointing dry down that takes away its merit as a masterpiece. With better longevity, it would have been perfect. Rating: 7.5
