Descripción
Rose & Dragon by Carner Barcelona is an oriental floral fragrance created for men and women. Launched in 2016, this composition features an olfactory signature designed by the perfumer [perfumer name, if available in the original data; otherwise, omitted or indicated generically]. The top notes unfold a vibrant combination of wild strawberry, saffron, cumin, and cinnamon. The heart of the fragrance reveals the elegance of Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, honey, and frankincense. Finally, the base notes land on a warm and sensual foundation of leather, castoreum, labdanum, and amber.

Rose & Dragon smells good and has quality, blending sweet leather with red fruits like raspberry or cherry; it’s a commercial and pleasant combo reminiscent of classics like Knize Ten or Tuscan Leather. But watch out, there are already too many fragrances like this, giving me déjà vu and boring me because they bring nothing new or substantial, even though I admit this one isn’t bad. It has a nice sweet strawberry note, a spicy touch, floral rose, and smoky leather, all well-structured with good longevity and moderate projection. In the end, I feel it’s unnecessary and just another clone. Rating: 6
Before criticizing, Rose & Dragon is well-made and smells like something, uniting sweet leather with red fruits like raspberry or cherry; it works and is commercial thanks to that floral, sweet, and fruity result. They already proved this years ago with Knize Ten, then Tuscan Leather, Russian Tea, or Chambre Noir. This fragrance is another in that style, an insistent déjà vu because there are many better ones, which bores and tires me as it adds nothing novel or exciting, even though I repeat that it’s not bad. In short: achieved sweet strawberry note, spicy touch, floral rose, and smoky leather, all rounded and well-structured with good longevity and moderate projection. In a word, unnecessary and just another clone. Rating: 6
Rose & Dragon left me a bit confused at first; it was too potent for my taste. But from then on, and especially as it dried down, I have to say it’s fantastic. Moderate projection, but the longevity on my skin is spectacular. When the strawberry tones down and the rose takes the lead, this Carner proposal wins me over completely. I know many people talk about how this style is repeated across brands (the Tuscan Leather vibe), but here I’m giving my opinion on this specific perfume, not discussing alternatives or prices. The quality of the dry-down notes feels very natural and indisputable, and I repeat that the longevity is excellent.
Rose & Dragon confuses me at first; it comes out very potent, but it’s fantastic once it dries down: moderate projection and spectacular longevity on my skin. When the strawberry fades and the rose takes the spotlight, this Carner proposal wins me over completely. I know this type of perfume is repeated a lot (like Tuscan Leather), but here I’m giving my opinion on the perfume, not on alternatives or prices. The quality of the dry-down notes feels very natural and indisputable, and I repeat that the longevity is excellent.
It’s like if Marly’s Delina had a rebellious sister who never quite pulls it off, partly due to the pretension. A sister who performs rebellion but is actually well-behaved and pampered at home by her parents. I love the branding, the name, and the intent, though I expected something more potent in the leather and animal notes. To me, it’s mostly cooked roses and strawberries—very fine patisserie, a hyper-feminine and distinguished combo, far from the rugged, dark vibe you might guess from the bottle. It’s not bad; it’s enveloping and pleasant, but the comparison to Delina or other Marly scents seems obvious.
