Descripción
Ibiza Nights by Carner Barcelona is an oriental floral creation designed for men and women. Launched in 2020, this fragrance unfolds a scent pyramid where the top notes evoke the freshness of Italian mandarin, pear, and star anise. The heart reveals the sensuality of magnolia, ylang-ylang, and sambac jasmine, while the base settles on the warmth of vanilla, benzoin, and patchouli.

Greetings to everyone writing here on Fragantica, you make choosing so much easier. I liked the opening with star anise and pear taking the lead. The evolution is very feminine, full of jasmine, Ylang Ylang (for a moment I thought of L’Eau d’Issey), and vanilla, all fantastic. It’s a great perfume, in my view for women. My wife will enjoy this sample.
Hi Fragantica, thanks for the community that helps us choose. I loved the opening: star anise and pear dominate. The evolution is super feminine, packed with jasmine, Ylang Ylang (it reminded me of a moment from L’Eau d’Issey), and fantastic vanilla. A great perfume, in my opinion ideal for women. My wife will enjoy this sample.
Straight up summer top. It has all the Mediterranean perfume marketing and delivers: a fresh white floral (watch out, it can sometimes be bitter) with a slight fruity sweetness that ties everything together. Very versatile and easy to use. After letting it breathe and macerate for a while, I notice the vanilla notes come up much more and the bitterness of the initial sprays fades away.
Straight to the top of summer. It has all the marketing of a Mediterranean-style perfume and delivers. Fresh white florals (watch out, white florals can turn bitter) mixed with a touch of fruity sweetness. Very versatile and easy to use. After reviewing my bottle, over time, with oxygenation and maceration, the vanilla notes come out much stronger and the bitterness of the initial sprays fades.
Ibiza Nights is gorgeous and very approachable. It’s an easy-to-wear niche that’s hard to dislike, yet it doesn’t lose its specialty or quality. What I smell most is pear, followed by a hint of mandarin that adds freshness and liveliness without being too citrusy. I can’t really detect the anise. Among the florals, ylang-ylang stands out. As it dries down, the vanilla sweetens it more. It leans feminine. Performance is average: lasts about 6 hours and has low projection, only those close by can smell it. I’d define it as a fruity, sweet yellow-white floral. Perfect for spring/summer mornings, daily wear, or gatherings where you want to be noticed without being intrusive. Lately, I’ve seen several designer fragrances that don’t seem as special; this one, while easy to like, has something unique. Not all niche perfumes need to be difficult, but they shouldn’t feel like designer scents either. It’s as easy to wear as a designer fragrance but with a special touch. I was ready to buy it, but now I’m more picky and wonder if it’s worth spending money on this or something I’ll absolutely love. I want scents that say ‘wow, I can’t live without it,’ though I’m not ruling out buying it on a whim.
Ibiza Nights is a beautiful and very friendly perfume. It’s an accessible niche, impossible not to like, yet still special and with great olfactory quality. What I feel most is the pear. The mandarin touch in the opening adds freshness and liveliness, without being citrusy, just a small companion. I struggle to detect the anise. Among the flowers, the Ylang Ylang is the most prominent. As it dries down, it sweetens more with the vanilla. For me, it leans more feminine. The performance isn’t a beast in longevity or projection, but it’s not bad either. It lasts me about 6 hours (typical for fruity perfumes like this) and projects little; only someone sitting next to you will smell it. Maybe it lasts longer for others; my skin isn’t the most generous. I’d define it as a fruity, sweet yellow-white floral. Very lovely. Perfect for spring and summer mornings, everyday wear, work, meetings where you don’t want an intrusive scent, when you need to be noticed but discreetly, without offending anyone. Lately, I’ve seen several designer perfumes that didn’t seem as special. This one, despite being easy to like, has a certain something that makes it special. You think: ‘Okay, not all niche perfumes need to be difficult, but they shouldn’t look like designer scents either.’ It’s as easy to like as a designer perfume, but with a special touch. I wanted to buy it right away, but lately I’m more demanding with my money and I ask myself: ‘Are you sure you want to spend money on this and not on something you’ll love more?’ I feel like I want to start spending on things that say ‘wow, I can’t live without it,’ though I don’t rule out buying it later.
I know it’s recommended for summer, but my love for freshness makes me want it in autumn. I find it soft, not cloying, but sweet. On my skin, I don’t detect pear or anise… just a bit of mandarin from the start embracing those vanilla-floral notes.
Even though it’s marketed as a summer scent, my love for fresh notes makes me want to wear it in autumn. It’s soft, not cloying, and sweet. On my skin, I don’t detect pear or anise; instead, I get a touch of tangerine from the start, embracing vanilla-floral notes.
Floral scents for summer sunsets. It opens sweet and fruity with pear, paired with a very subtle anise. The heart is floral—dense yet light, half creamy-solar, half clean. Feminine and versatile, I’d wear it all year. Lasts 5-6 hours; starts strong but the trail becomes moderate and soft. It’s pretty, but nothing I haven’t smelled before.
