Sabrage is cheerful and sparkling yet elegant and deep; I wear it all year round and its longevity and projection are top-notch. It opens with a bubbly burst that reminds me of opening champagne, perhaps due to the marketing, then shifts to white flowers, passionfruit, and a notable pear. The musk base is strong and noticeable from the start, enveloping everything. I also detect a lot of ambroxan in there, which can be off-putting for some. It doesn’t remind me of Erba Pura; while they share a style, Sabrage is lighter, airier, and less sweet, with equally impressive performance. Erba Pura sometimes overwhelms me, which never happens with this one. Its projection is very notable and lasts over 14 hours on skin, even longer on clothes. I think it’s absolutely worth it; if I didn’t have so many fragrances and wanted to trim my collection, I’d buy it in a bottle. Scent 8/10, longevity 10/10, sillage 10/10, value for money 6.5/10, versatility 6/10, packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? I haven’t purchased it yet.
