What an explosion of color and juicy red fruit flavor! It’s not sweet, but super refreshing and invigorating. After that opening, Qué Amour becomes a delicate blend of rose, geranium, and peony, yet it doesn’t lose its exuberance. Besides the rose, I notice green, powdery, and citrus notes that give it an even more sensual touch. Since spring arrived, I’ve left my oriental perfumes behind to embrace this floral glamour. It’s like spring in a bottle, the awakening of sensuality. It’s not unique, but that romance and vitality wrap around you. It’s a magical, sparkling elixir.

It’s one of my favorite perfumes, though it’s quite potent. It brings back memories of girls from another time running through meadows. But the intensity is so strong that I felt like I was swallowing endless strawberry soap bubbles. The solution: I mixed it with Petits et Mamans by Bvlgari, using half of each. Now it’s exactly what I was looking for: much more wearable and pleasant.

What a precious fragrance! It has most of my favorite notes, all together in a charming bottle. It’s a delicately fruity floral or a very fruity floral, whichever you prefer, that won’t leave anyone indifferent. A blend of fresh green currants, deep cherries, and explosive pomegranates that make my mouth water, sweetened by blackberries and a ripe, juicy peach. As floral notes, I perceive very young and delicate roses and peonies. I don’t see it as a floral because the fruits are the protagonists from start to finish. In the background, a clean musk gives it a powdery touch, nothing cold thanks to the warmth of the amber. It has an excellent trail and longevity on me of about 6 hours, and it still lingers on the skin. For an EDT, it functions like the best of the EDPs. I’d use it in autumn and winter because, although the base isn’t overwhelming, the red fruits and peach make it ideal for cold climates. For day or night, it depends on the number of applications. A very youthful aroma, ideal for beginners in niche perfumes, energetic and cheerful. A feminine, romantic, sensual, and very rich fragrance, to savor on your skin if you let yourself… Impossible to take your wrist away from your nose with a wide smile! I feel Annick Goutal and I are going to be great friends.
What a gorgeous fragrance! It has almost all my favorite notes in a beautiful bottle. It’s a fruity-floral or a very fruity-floral, whichever you prefer, that won’t leave anyone indifferent. Fresh blackcurrants, red cherries, and explosive pomegranates that make my mouth water, sweetened by blackberries and a juicy peach. The flowers are young, delicate roses and peonies, but the fruits are the stars from start to finish. In the base, a clean musk with a powdery, warm touch thanks to amber. The trail and longevity are excellent, about 6 hours, and it lingers on the skin. It works like an EDP even though it’s an EDT. I’d wear it in fall and winter because, although the base isn’t heavy, the red fruits and peach make it perfect for the cold. Day or night depends on how much you apply. It’s very youthful, ideal for those starting into niche, energetic and cheerful. Romantic, sensual, and rich, perfect to savor on the skin. Impossible to take my wrist away from my nose without smiling. I think Annick Goutal and I are going to be great friends.
What a love! It has a mentholated touch. The opening is explosive and spicy. Smells like a starry night in the countryside, fresh herbs after a rainy afternoon. Clean, fresh, and crisp scent. The longevity is good, it doesn’t fade, seems like it was just applied even after hours.
What love! It’s somewhat mentholated. Its opening is explosive and spicy. It smells like a starry night in the countryside, fresh herbs after a rainy afternoon. Clean, fresh, and tidy scent. Good fixation; the performance doesn’t fade, it seems applied just a moment ago even though hours have passed.
I bought it without being a fan of red fruits or peonies, blind, on one of those complicated emotional days when you’re looking for an extra distraction. Its opening, which lasts about half an hour, made me laugh nervously; it was terrifying. I had read it smelled like a cleaner and it still smelled worse, like a bitter cherry and powdery, grating things without harmony; I thought it was ruined. But time performed a magic trick, and now I smell those red fruits as a perfect, natural, and beautiful sweetness. The peonies are a wonder that I can transform into my favorite flowers. Anyway, I ordered another bottle at a good price. This perfume makes you feel loved; it’s so rich you don’t want to stop smelling it, like a caterpillar that has decided to fly. I’m addicted to the brand because of its magical realism. If nature doesn’t smell like Annick Goutal smelled it, it should change.
So delicious a perfume 🥰 My weakness is French perfumes. I love that elegant and simple design of vintage perfume. It’s fresh but sweet without being cloying; it reminded me of a doll scent very much in the style of Delina, but sweeter. I imagine myself on a street in Paris, entering a small shop and seeing it in the display case.
Beautiful. It fills me with euphoria, the wonder of being alive in a world of colors like a field at dawn. It’s a sunset at the beach, gazing at the sea and thinking about our planet. I adore it in autumn and spring; I smell the peony so strongly, as well as roses, even though they aren’t explicitly listed. To me, it’s a fruity floral because, although the pomegranate is noticeable, the flowers are the stars. The amber that accompanies it is so clean and delicate; it’s all an ode to delicacy. Someone called it magical realism and they’re right: smelling nature this much makes it feel like another world. I treat it like gold, and although I own many perfumes, this one is different. The longevity is excellent, but sometimes when I feel how its trail explodes, I get compulsive urges to reapply to enjoy that narcotic burst. It simply makes me happy, evoking beautiful memories from my life 💖 Edit: July 2024, full winter in Argentina, it’s so rich, has something nostalgic and melancholic. I love it, it’s my favorite, and it doesn’t resemble any other. Simply beautiful. Annick fan.
