Descripción
Étoile d'une Nuit by Goutal is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin. Upon opening, blackberry, bergamot, and Italian mandarin deliver a vibrant first impression; the heart reveals iris, rose, and Egyptian jasmine; while the base settles on musk, vanilla, and cashmere wood.

Smells identical to Lipstick on by Maison Margiela. The powdery note is the same.
A very elegant and powdery fragrance. If you love the scent of makeup, you’ll adore it. Perfect for a date, especially in cooler weather. It’s pretty, sweet, powdery, floral, and simple.
A very elegant and powdery fragrance. If you like the scent of makeup, you’ll love it. Ideal for a date, better in the cold. It’s pretty, sweet, powdery, floral, and simple.
I love it. It’s powdery, soft, and delicate; none of those talcum powder scents that feel like they’re straight out of an old trunk. Very feminine and elegant. On my skin, I don’t detect the citrus top notes or even smell them. Yes, there’s rose and violet, though very subtle. It quickly turns into talcum powder and dry woods. I adore it. Wish it had more projection and sillage. Longevity is excellent on skin and clothes. Smells like high-end makeup. If you like this line, buy it blind. When it runs out, I’ll repurchase.
I love it. It’s powdery, soft, and delicate; nothing like those talcum powders that seem pulled from a memory box. Very feminine and elegant. On my skin, I don’t detect the citrus top notes or even smell them. Yes, there’s rose and violet, though very delicate. Immediately it smells like talc and dry woods. I love it. It’s like a second skin. Dry and powdery with a subtle sweetness. Wearing it is pure joy. Yes, I wish it projected more, but that scent that seems to come from your own skin makes it even more endearing.
Another Goutal, but Etoile d’une Nuit feels much drier and powdier, especially in the vanilla and iris. On my skin, the jasmine gives an almost dirty, cumin-like touch. There’s a slight acidic aftertaste (I assume from the blackberry), but overall, it just didn’t work for me. It’s warm and I see it better for a woman on cool days for semi-formal events. It feels more mature and reminds me of other scents due to that powdery side. The contrast with the brand’s femme fatale perfumes is brutal; for me, this isn’t. Rating: 5.5/10, tested with an official sample.
