I hate to say it, but this is the only Annick Goutal I haven’t liked. A friend got it in a trade and let me try it. I only sprayed it once on my skin, though it didn’t really invite me to keep smelling it… On my skin, it felt literally like sun-baked skin on the beach. It brought back memories of those family trips where I’d fall half-asleep in the sun, with my skin touching the sand and the sunscreen having lost all its scent. The remaining smell was very particular—not bad, but not something I’d wear all the time or keep a drop of handy to sniff whenever I wanted… I don’t know, first time I’ve ever felt so clearly reproduced by a scent… I know I have to try it again, the vial might be a bit of a dud, but I’m going to ask my friend for it. The longevity was pretty good, oh my Zeus, haha
