Descripción
Reb'l Fleur Love Always by Rihanna is a fruity chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien. I like it; it’s fresh, elegant, and versatile. It features a soft, balanced vanilla with creamy coconut, without being cloying, and a touch of plum that gives it depth. I detect peach and violet without it feeling stuffy. It lasts about 6 hours on skin, with medium sillage for the first 3, then becomes more discreet. It doesn’t resemble its siblings, Rebelle. It was a blind buy that I keep enjoying.
It’s a celebrity fragrance, so don’t expect it to last all day, but it depends on the skin. It lasts me 3-4 hours with about an hour of projection. It smells good; I detect plum, coconut, and red berries with a touch of patchouli. It reminds me of Versace Crystal Noir or Calvin Klein Euphoria, nothing like Mugler Angel. It’s versatile, easy, and gets compliments. Ideal if you’re not looking for complex scents. I feel beautiful wearing it and it’s sensual, I just wish it lasted longer.
The scent is beautifully crafted. I absolutely love Rihanna’s fragrances; they’re original, as elegant as they are affordable, unpretentious for a celebrity, and truly wonderful. It smells discreet, making it perfect for everything, even formal events.
I picked this up at a Marshall’s in the US for $19. At first, it smells strong of neroli, amber, or patchouli—it could seem like something for over 50s. But after 20 minutes, the magic appears: coconut, peach, and plum. By the hour, vanilla takes over. It lasts 6 hours on skin but without much projection. It’s pleasant, but not for teens or hot days because it’s heavy.
It smells good; it’s an elegant, affordable Rihanna fragrance without pretensions. It projects little, which makes it usable for any occasion, even formal ones.
I picked it up at a Marshall’s in the USA for $19 to try it out. To be honest: at first, it smells strong—nardos, amber, patchouli, or musk, I’m not sure which. If I went by my first impression, I’d say it’s a perfume for an older lady (over 50). But after 20 minutes, the magic happens: I start smelling coconut, peach, and plum. By an hour, I sense the vanilla, which becomes the predominant scent as time passes. I’ll still be able to smell it after 6 hours, but without much projection. It’s a pleasant scent. I wouldn’t recommend it for little girls or hot days: it’s too heavy!
It’s a pity that the patchouli dominates and drowns out everything else. The coconut and hibiscus are there, but the patchouli suffocates and smells like a 70s lady perfume. The plum also makes it heavy. If you like patchouli, you’ll love it; if not, go for the original Reb’L Fleur where everything is better balanced.
What a pity that the patchouli dominates so much and swallows the rest. The nice parts of the coconut and hibiscus flower are there, but you can’t enjoy them because the patchouli is annoying and suffocates everything. That patchouli reminds me of a perfume for a 70-year-old lady. Plus, there’s the plum, which makes it very heavy. If you like patchouli, you’ll love it; if not, better grab the original Rebl Fleur because it doesn’t dominate with patchouli and all the notes are better balanced.
I really like it: on my skin, plum, peach, and coconut with vanilla stand out as it dries. It lasts 4-5 hours on skin and all day on clothes. It doesn’t have much sillage; you only smell it if you get close. Being a celebrity fragrance at 350 Mexican pesos, it’s well-made, though I prefer the original and won’t be buying this again.
REB L’FLEUR LOVE ALWAYS: I bought it today and am happy to try it alongside its sisters, Rebelle and Reb’L Fleur. The differences from Rebelle are clear, but I can’t easily tell how it stands out from Reb’L Fleur. I tell myself that for the average consumer, it’s not easy to notice subtleties in something so sweet with a heavy dose of patchouli that “drowns out” the rest. They say Reb’L Fleur has better balance, but I’d dare to contradict that; it seems like if you have one, you don’t need the other (from an austere point of view). Their performances are similar: a discreet to moderate trail and 4 to 6 hours of longevity, depending on hydration or heating. The vibe is feminine, seductive, attractive, and charming. Since it doesn’t project strongly on my skin, it’s more versatile, as others say. I’d use it for many things, except serious events, and recommend it for all ages. In short, excellent purchase. Greetings from Chile!
I bought it today and love testing it alongside its sisters, Rebelle and Reb’L Fleur. The differences with Rebelle are clear, but distinguishing it from the other is hard due to that dose of patchouli that drowns everything out. They say Reb’L Fleur has better balance, but I think if you have one, the other is superfluous. Both last 4-6 hours and project little; on my skin, it’s versatile, feminine, and seductive. I’d use it for everything except formal events, and it’s worth it.
I’ve been wearing this for three months. The longevity is short, around 4 hours, with weak projection, but it smells delicious. Since it’s subtle, it’s not cloying, and I use it in many places without issues.
