A mix of cotton candy, licorice, and caramel. It smells like cotton candy when it’s being prepared but almost ready to burn. That’s how this perfume smells. Only for perfume lovers, it’s ideal for a young girl, very cheerful and sweet. It doesn’t suit an adult.
I absolutely love Pink Sugar, it’s a gorgeous sweet perfume, very sugary and warm. If you like gourmand perfumes, this is a must-have. It’s perfect for cold climates where the cotton candy aroma really shines. I’ve received more compliments from men than from women. It’s my third bottle and I’ll always keep it in my collection.
I heard it was sweet like youthful caramel, but nothing like that. It’s cloying and powdery, it becomes unpleasant. I had to give away the bottle.
I bought it based on the comments, but I had my expectations maxed out looking for that caramel and cotton candy. Upon applying it, I only smelled a horrible plastic or burnt rubber scent, something bitter like a bus. The projection is beast mode, fills the room, and gave me a headache. The top notes lasted hours, about 5, and when it dried down, it became a bit sweeter but still unpleasant. The worst blind buy I’ve ever made 😭
I’m obsessed, it smells like pure cotton candy. When the musk comes out, it’s a bit strong, and when it dries down, it gives off a burnt sugar scent, but I love it. It irritates the skin a bit, but it has brutal sillage and lasts a long time. You still have it at Primor 👍🏼
I loved it. I’m a gourmand lover. On first sniff, I smelled burnt sugar and also orange. I love it, though with the heat I only use it as a spray because I feel like I’m going to make people dizzy.
I went with the reviews and bought it. At first, I was scared by the woody and bitter smell, reminiscent of orange and licorice. As it develops, it becomes softer, vanilla-like, and caramelized, but on me, the sillage is personal. Unfortunately, it didn’t have much projection; I would have loved for the sweetness to last longer. For the price, it’s okay, but I expected more from a gourmand. EDIT: I highly recommend letting it macerate; the vanilla intensified and now I like it much more, plus it lasts a bit longer.
As I mentioned with the ‘body spray’ Gingham Gorgeous by Bath & Body Works, this is a ‘body spray,’ so it doesn’t last long and its sillage is weak. That said, it’s one of my favorites because it’s very sweet. I love perfumes and sweet ‘body sprays.’ It’s very feminine and perfect for getting out of the shower and staying in.
bus intoxication 😂
My first Pink Sugar was also from Amazon, I don’t remember if I threw it away or gifted it, but the second one I bought at a physical perfumery store I LOVED. If you’re mentally prepared for the fair cotton candy vibe, it’s not quite that. It’s a candy scent but like… it wants to go towards a Lira but doesn’t quite get there (maybe due to the licorice note). It is very sweet, though. I can understand those who smell burnt rubber, but its aroma goes much further. Of course, it’s not a natural scent; for that, there are florals without more.
Cotton candy? Raspberry? Caramel? With all due respect, this is the worst I’ve ever tried: burnt sugar, very burnt, with a hint of licorice. I bought it on Amazon. I’m a gourmand lover, but this surpasses cheap scents in aroma. It’s worth 10 euros on Amazon, but honey, the Mercadona ones are niche compared to this. What a terrible smell…
It smells wonderful and is perfect for a teenager or a little girl, without over-applying because it’s potent and long-lasting. It’s sweet on its own and lasts me about 4 or 5 hours projecting (I have very grateful skin).
It’s a super sweet, super sweet juice, but with personality; it has something that gives it a zesty touch and makes it delicious. It’s the one in my collection that has received the most compliments, seriously… LOTS, and especially from men, it’s the law. I wear it and people always ask what I’m using, without fail. Great trail, great longevity… it’s an underrated gem.
It seems too childish and synthetic, better suited for someone younger. Men usually like it (my partner doesn’t). It has excellent trail and longevity for its price.
I have a dilemma with Pink Sugar: I bought it because the notes sound dreamy, but smelling it was maximum disappointment and I set it aside. I smelled it again a few days later and it didn’t disgust me as much; when I applied it, I loved it once it settled: it smells extremely sweet, milky, and delicious, but the opening doesn’t convince me. Edit: I couldn’t take it anymore and gifted it away. I had bought the blue, red, and this one, and I had to gift all three because I can’t stand the smell. I love the sweetness, but these aren’t for me; it gave me a headache, probably due to that burnt rubber note that didn’t hold up and I sense in all three versions (less in the blue and different in the red). In the end, I couldn’t tolerate them.
It smells exactly like Farmacy’s ‘Sweet Carousel.’ I don’t know how that’s possible; the notes are very different, but the scent is identical.
I had high expectations due to the hype and the notes I like, but in reality, it just smells like ultra-bitter, burnt caramel—very heavy and synthetic. If you like extremely sweet perfumes, it might work, but I don’t recommend buying it blindly. In my case, I wouldn’t buy it again; definitely not for me.
So delicious and long-lasting! The performance is impressive: it starts with freshly made pink cotton candy and settles into sugared vanilla. It’s sweet, informal, and makes you feel like a Barbie. I don’t see it for dates, dancing, or night out; it’s ideal for work, afternoons, birthdays, or walks in autumn/winter or sunny days. I recommend it and would buy it again!
I love it! I get tons of compliments, it smells strong, lasts well, and the best part is that it’s affordable. It’s perfect for anyone who loves super cloying perfumes.
The opening is strong, like caramelized oranges to the point of burning, but within a minute it leaves all that behind to become pure caramel, vanilla, and cotton candy. I’ve received more compliments on it than on designer perfumes costing triple the price, which is frustrating. If you love sweet scents, this is for you: mega sweet and innocent. The trail is top-notch at first, then fades (normal for the price).
This perfume has something I really like; for me, it’s not cloying, but I’m surprised to perceive a burnt fruit scent, it’s a peculiar smell I like, I just can’t associate it with anything. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last almost at all, max one hour, and its sillage is delicate.
I love it, super youthful, smells like cotton candy and toasted caramel, very tasty. It’s super affordable and very long-lasting. Too bad it’s not available in my country. I got it by chance…
I’m a gourmand perfume lover, I bought it blind and I loved it. It’s perfume made of sugar. But my love for it lasted only a few weeks. It’s so sweet that now it gives me a headache and I can’t wear it much. Extreme sweetness.
Rich, very sweet, like caramel and cotton candy with lots of fruit. I wear it with a green dress and it looks perfect and balanced. Men compliment me the most; one told me I smelled like I was drunk on love, even though he didn’t know me. My husband adores it, just like he does with Fantasy by B.S. It’s that edible sweet scent that lasts forever; a single spritz is enough, otherwise it’s overwhelming. It’s a daytime winter scent; in the heat, it’s suffocating. It’s pretty; I have superior perfumes, but this one gets me more compliments.
It’s a cologne that lasts a long time on skin and clothes, with a spectacular sweet scent that has complimented me several times. The only downside is it’s hard to find and its sillage isn’t very wide.
I’ve been wearing it since 2017 and it was my favorite for years. Super accessible and extremely sweet, depending on taste. People say I smell like a candy or a cake. It lasts over 24 hours on skin and clothes. If you like sweets, I recommend it 100%.
A classic of feminine pop. Many hate it for being cheap and ultra-sweet, like a caramelized raspberry-strawberry nightmare with a naive design. But it’s not bad: it lasts forever, has a loyal following, and has inspired expensive brands. For 15-20 euros, it’s a beast. 8-9 hours of longevity and strong sillage at the start. Great work by Givaudan and Maisondieu.
It’s a rich gourmand but way too sweet; it makes your stomach churn and gives you a headache. It smells more youthful, and I only detect vanilla, not all the listed notes. Smell before you buy.
This fragrance is way too sweet and cloying; it has a huge sillage and longevity which is maddening. It opens with a note like burnt coffee, or I don’t know how to describe it, but it feels burnt and clashes completely with that sugar bomb, making it unbearable for the first hour. The only decent part is the dry-down on the skin; the residual scent after wearing it for a long time is pleasant, like a soft, powdery sweet, but ultimately that doesn’t compensate for what you have to endure during the first (at least) two hours of wear. A definite no.
Cotton candy and musk. That’s what I smell.
Pure cloying sugar
I bought it for being a fan of sweet scents. I was looking for something sweet and youthful with personality, neither girly nor cheap vanilla. I liked Britney’s Fantasy but wanted to try something different. I thought Pink Sugar would be elegant and sophisticated today. I bought it without testing, trusting that if it was sweet, I’d love it. It’s a rare fragrance: at first, it’s super citrusy, nothing cloying like Fantasy. Soon I notice the licorice, something I haven’t read before. Many say it smells like caramel or burnt coffee, surely it’s the licorice. Once the citrus fades, the licorice dominates. Only at the dry-down, hours later, it becomes weird between vanilla and cotton candy. To me, it reminds me of 90s dolls freshly taken out of the box. It has great longevity, smells the next day. The sillage isn’t as exaggerated as Fantasy’s. In short, it’s rare, but if you’re looking for something different, you won’t lose out. Keep in mind the initial citrus and wait for the sweet baby-doll dry-down ❤️
I bought it blindly as a vanilla fan, but honestly, I only notice licorice. I’ve used it for two months and it’s still just that. It doesn’t bother me; it’s great for layering and looks cute, but it’s a pure licorice perfume. Hoping to notice more notes, as sometimes licorice gets cloying. Edit Jan 25, 2026: the licorice has softened, now it’s creamier and sweeter. It’s improved a lot, I use it daily and plan to buy another jar
It smells like the air when The Snowman plays. Like melting sugar slightly burning. It’s not cloying or heavy, with a clean touch. I really like it; it’s identical to Fuller’s Lola. Zero elegance, zero maturity
Feels a bit artificial and hard to blend, but I love sweet aromas, so I like it
Extreme sweetness: on my skin, the dry-down is pure dulce de leche, super gourmand. But at first, it smells like baby wipes with a plastic doll. Only for winter, because in summer it gives me a headache. It’s mega delicious when dry, lasts forever, but zero versatile
Lasts quite a bit on skin and clothes for the price. It’s a super good and affordable option if you like sweet scents
I had this on my wishlist for months before finally trying it. On my skin, it smells super synthetic and not sweet at all. To be honest, it was quite disappointing
At first, it’s overwhelmingly sweet, but then it turns into burnt sugar, almost plastic. Once dry, it settles into spun sugar with vanilla. Honestly, I adore it
Smells like cotton candy and caramel, perfect for desserts. As it dries, berry notes emerge. It’s affordable, long-lasting, and has great sillage. A bit synthetic, but if you love sweet scents, it’s a top pick 🎀
