  1. Perfect perfume for me. Elegant, enveloping, warm, and sweet—just right and well-made. It grounds me in reality while lifting me up, like a protective cloak. It smells like the shade of an ancient tree and a breeze in that cozy place you always dream of returning to.

  2. The saddest part is falling in love with a ghost. I feel his warmth under my skin, his dark and suffocating embrace. It smells of damp earth and his aromatic bones. I hear his broken, burnt voice. If you hate me so much, why do you leave? You can’t show me paradise and then run. But you do because you hate me. Even dead, your hate accompanies me. I’ll stay with it.

  3. There is nothing more tragic, no crueler joke, nor bitter nightmare than falling in love with a dead man. I feel his heat on my bluish veins beneath the paper-thin dermis. I feel his loving embrace, suffocatingly loving and dark. I feel the damp, fertile earth where I now luxuriate among the aromatic bones of my beloved. I can hear his voice in the air. A burnt, broken, Iberian velvet voice. A voice of blazing candles in incinerated baroque cathedrals. If you love me with such hate, why do you leave? You can’t show me paradise, take me to swim naked in fountains of drinkable honey, and then run away with those old brown leather shoes. You can’t. But you do. Because you hate me. You hate me as much as I hate your non-existence. Even dead, your hate remains by my side. If it’s not a bother, I’ll stay with it.

  4. Ambered with subtle and elegant tonka bean. Discreet, pleasant, and enveloping. It adds a naturally tempered warmth, sweet but not overpowering, like a cappuccino in winter. Now that tonka bean is trendy, this Prada classic is back with force, featuring an ambered profile and a medicinally sweet touch.

  5. A subtle and elegant amber with tonka bean. Discreet, highly pleasant, and enveloping. It adds a transparent veil of naturally tempered warmth. A softly sweet warmth that never invades or saturates, a sensation similar to sipping a cappuccino in winter. Now that tonka bean perfumes are trending, this Prada classic is back with a bang, featuring a distinctly amber and medicinal-sweet presence.

  6. I love it! It starts green and ambered with fresh patchouli, then highlights the very pleasant and uncommon benzoin, paired with non-sweet honey and fresh woods. The only downside is it lasts about 4 hours. It’s a fresh oriental, non-intrusive, ideal for daily wear without being bothersome. An aroma outside the ordinary.

  7. I love it! It starts green, ambered, with fresh patchouli. Then what I detect most is benzoin, very pleasant and uncommon, along with non-sweet honey notes and fresh woods. The only thing that doesn’t fascinate me is that I wish it lasted longer; on me, it lasts about 4 hours. It’s a fresh oriental type, non-invasive, and although many say it’s not recommended for daily wear or the office, since it’s not sharp or beastly, you can wear it without major issues. An off-mainstream aroma.

Well-crafted and elegant oriental. It starts powerful, then settles on the skin leaving a natural, aromatic patchouli accompanied by an ambered broom that provides great warmth. Perfect for cool days, day or night, for men or women. It clashes with sporty styles. It smells natural, with a soft touch of honeyed pollen that makes it sweeter over time. Well-made, with French undertones. Try before you buy; it doesn’t suit everyone. Ideal for classic, characterful profiles. A young, subtle oriental with rejuvenated amber.

A well-crafted and elegant oriental. It presents a powerful opening with a host of notes wandering on the skin; then they settle, leaving a very natural, aromatic, and medicinal patchouli scent, accompanied by a powerful amber heather that gives it lots of warmth. Perfect to wear in cool temperatures, both day and night, on women or men (I note it’s unisex), elegant and stylish. It clashes completely with informal or sporty styles. Its scent is natural. I perceive a certain honeyed pollen touch, but it’s very soft, giving it a sweet character as the hours pass. The perfume is well-made, natural, and has French-inspired reminiscences, which lovers of patchouli in their perfumes will adore. Test before buying. It doesn’t suit everyone; it works well on classic men and women with a certain liberal character. It’s a young and subtle oriental offering a rejuvenated amber. For patchouli lovers.

  10. Prada Amber Eau de Luxe is gorgeous, elegant, and original. From the very first moment, you can tell it’s Prada; they make magnificent perfumes, and this is one of them. Perhaps that’s why it was named Perfume of the Year. Its originality and unique scent set it apart in a repetitive market. Can you make an elegant perfume that smells like carrot? Yes, Prada did. I analyzed the overall scent for weeks, and the key is: it smells like carrot. Not everyone notices, but some do. The opening is green, fresh, juicy, and slightly fruity. It’s sweet, but thanks to the resins, amber, a bit of honey, and fruits, it stays balanced. I don’t detect sandalwood, although I can smell it from a mile away. The patchouli, the star, is refined, addictive, yet light on the skin. Everything comes together deliciously: a freshly peeled carrot with a drizzle of patchouli. Some might find it repulsive, so try it before committing. Sometimes it gives off a faint white chocolate tone, but weak on my skin. Compared to Coromandel, this is more masculine, with more chocolate and gourmand notes, while Sycomore leans towards vetiver. They are quite different; each skin accentuates the components differently. For me, Prada Amber is extremely feminine, disciplined, and sparkly because it smells something different. It’s my best clean, sweet patchouli. The longevity is great, and the sillage is amazing, though sometimes it feels a bit more contained; you always notice its presence and smell like Prada from head to toe, which I love.

  11. I chose this perfume because it’s the iconic franchise from Prada’s beginnings. I want to inform the forums that since I can’t post the news there, I’m sharing it here: it seems Signora Miuccia understood that less is more. The creative director announced that the contract with Puig, responsible for the formulation, ends in 2020. Prada is not renewing the license, a hard blow for the Spanish company. This is the second time this year a major house has parted ways with Puig, after replacing Valentino with L’Oréal in May. Puig loses the prestige Prada-Valentino block and is left with only Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, Nina Ricci, and Jean Paul Gaultier. Sources say Coty is bidding alongside L’Oréal; the latter has the advantage because they own Miu Miu. If Prada wants to return to its perfumery roots, I’d stick with L’Oréal, which produces excellent scents like Armani and Lancôme, compared to Coty, which has Calvin Klein or Marc Jacobs.

Strong and potent aroma, very long-lasting. The patchouli and amber stand out with a touch of cocoa or chocolate. A very sweet fragrance that reminds me a lot of Flowerbomb and has an air of Angel.

I’ve been wearing this for many years and I still love it. It’s no surprise they gave it an award; it’s spectacular. The only downside is that many people wear it. I give it a 10.

  14. This fragrance is incredible. The opening reminds me slightly of Thierry Mugler’s Angel, but less sweet, with more character and sillage. It completely envelops you with its wonderful scent and leaves a warm, amber halo as it dries on the skin. If you are a lover of characterful perfumes, you must have this in your collection.

  15. It’s a perfume for a woman with character, capable of mastering it. It’s bold, imposing, and owns the stage. You have to know how to wear it. That’s probably what makes it so fascinating. I use it and highly recommend it.

  16. Honestly, I tried to like this Prada; I read the notes and thought it would be fabulous, even tested it on my skin. I love woody oriental scents. The opening is nice, and after a few minutes, I like it, but once it dries down on my skin, the charm disappears, even though the base notes are good. It must be that blessed skin chemistry that just didn’t click, leaving something unpleasant for me. Anyway, for now, there it is. I’m not sure if I should give it another try on colder days. The fragrance is good for anyone who likes amber.
