It’s one of those ‘clean scent’ fragrances. It’s not bad, but it won’t revolutionize the world. It has notes I like: lavender, basil, sandalwood, pear, amber, musk. It can give a nostalgic effect, maybe due to the lavender. It has a slight soapy touch. Don’t apply it heavily; use it carefully and preferably on open areas. Good fragrance.
The note that stands out most is the pear with lavender (a bit subtle) and a soft musk. Since I tried it, I’ve associated it with office fragrances, that clean scent Shiseido mentions. On me, Perry Ellis and my skin get along well; it lasts about 7 hours with moderate sillage. Good price-to-quality ratio: the 100ml bottle costs around $40 or $50. It’s reliable, fulfills its purpose without more; you won’t be the center of attention, but you won’t look bad either.
I don’t know why, but on me it lasts over 12 hours, with moderate to heavy sillage for the first 4 hours. It feels fresh, though the pear adds a sweet touch. In Mexico, I find it for about $35 for 100ml, quite accessible for what it offers.
One of my favorite fragrances; it leaves a really good impression. Family, friends, and several girls have told me I smell great every time I wear it. Great fragrance!
One of my favorites; it makes a good impression. Family, friends, and several girls have told me I smell great every time I wear it. Good fragrance.
It seemed pleasant, but in my opinion, it smells like someone older or mature (I’m 22). The frustrating part was the poor longevity and sillage on my skin: moderate sillage for the first hour, skin scent for the second, and then it disappears. Despite the nice aroma, I wouldn’t buy it again.
I really like the scent, but in my opinion it sounds mature (even though I’m only 22). The downside is that it doesn’t last at all; the trail is moderate for the first hour, then it becomes a skin scent within seconds before fading away. Even though it smells good, I wouldn’t buy it again.
A good fragrance for evening and night, summer and autumn on days without much wind. I like it in its dry-down: it smells like a nearly dried ripe pear, the lavender refreshes it, and the amber makes it special. I own the Elite, the Red, and this Black, and I prefer this one. People tell me I smell great at salsa or bachata classes; turning around to catch a whiff of it really boosts your ego. It suits my body chemistry and sticks well. For the 450 pesos I paid and how long it lasts, it’s worth it.
Great fragrance for evening and night, perfect for summer and autumn, or winter if it’s not too windy. I love how it dries down: it smells like nearly dried ripe pear, the lavender refreshes it, and the amber adds a special touch. I own the Elite, Blue, and Red versions, but this Black is my favorite. People tell me I smell great when I go to salsa or bachata classes, and seeing them again just boosts my ego. Plus, it works well with my skin. For the 450 pesos I paid and how long it lasts, it’s worth it.
I bought it right when it launched; it was very wearable and versatile. It had character, possibly the best of Perry Ellis from that era.
It’s decent; I liked it, but it’s not an aroma that truly moves me. It smells fruity and floral, sweet and aromatic, like a fabric softener but with better quality. It doesn’t stand out, it’s uncommon, and feels unisex leaning masculine. I think it’s much better than Perry Ellis 360 For Men. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours: 1 hour of projection and a 1.5-meter trail. I paid 388 Mexican pesos; if it goes over 500, I wouldn’t recommend it if there are better options available. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 9/10, Sillage: 9/10, Value: 8/10.
