  What stands out most is a great blend of rum, oud, and vanilla. In terms of value, it’s a solid choice for cold nights or romantic dates. Longevity is around 6 hours with projection nearly twice that. You can find it online for between $28 and $40. I give it a 7.5/10.

  Excellent winter option. A warm fragrance that competes with big-brand quality but at a super accessible price. The vanilla is the star—potent, boozy, and very pleasant, with great longevity over 8 hours and projection to a meter. It lasts for days on clothes.

  It starts with an insane vanilla blast that lasts for hours. The oud is barely there, with just a hint of residual incense. There’s a touch of tobacco and liquor, but it gets lost behind that overly sweet, too-feminine vanilla. It’s calming and pleasant for winter, but definitely not for me.

  I picked this up at a Ross in McAllen for about $29 without a second thought, since I thought it was no longer sold in Mexico. While its performance has always been average, I loved the scent and already had old bottles. But opening this new one, I immediately noticed they reformulated it: it comes out with a heavy floral note, like a lipstick-style iris, very feminine. The first drydown didn’t convince me, though as it settles, it smells almost like the original—that vanilla, tobacco, rum, and barely perceptible oud. Everything feels more artificial, but for the price, projection, and longevity, I give it a 6/10.
