It’s a very good and invigorating scent, strong at first but not too much, it invites you to keep smelling it, has a good fixative, it’s for everyday wear. At first it opens with amazing citrus and spices and then continues with floral notes ending in woods. Highly recommended, upon reviewing this perfume I realize I’ve had several from Perry Ellis, the 360, the 18, the 360 Blue, and the Good Life.

The reviews here are very in-depth, so I won’t add much, except that I love this lemon scent. The bottle is impractical because it weighs a ton (not ideal for travel); I have it empty but it still smells.

The reviews here are in-depth, so I won’t add much, except that I absolutely love this almondy fragrance. The bottle is a bit impractical because it’s heavy (not ideal for travel); I keep it empty, even with its scent still inside.

  • Purple flowers, I suppose it’s lavender, that’s what makes me think that most. At the start, it’s very fresh citrus, cologne-style, with some aquatic tints… At times it smells like bar soap, those that give freshness. At first it smells strong, but after 15 or 20 minutes the intensity drops and it becomes floral… It’s a fresh, clean floral with aquatic points and a bit of spice. It doesn’t smell super sophisticated or luxurious, but it’s pleasant, refreshing, and very masculine… By the end of the day the scent lingers but close to the skin, which is nice, it smells clean, maybe like some soap or detergent. I always like the mental image scents create, and here it’s a place full of purple flowers flooded with fresh water, at sunset, after a hot day… haha. It’s an excellent perfume in terms of scent and price, for hot weather, daily use, and informal occasions. I think it suits all ages. Cheers DTP!

Let’s just say it’s good, I like it. It’s very citrusy at first and sounds a bit strong at the start, but it softens over time. The floral notes stand out and it’s very rich, ideal for summer.

  • It goes unnoticed, it’s like other citrus and aquatic scents in the mid-range, so if you pay a fortune, it’s for the brand, not the product. It’s fresh, citrusy, and marine. The good thing is that it sticks to the skin and the shirt, so when you take off your clothes at night, you remember the scent of the day.

  • Very well executed: it’s fresh and long-lasting, doesn’t overdo the citrus. Even dry, it gives me that metallic scent of Azzaro Chrome. It’s a good alternative that doesn’t disappoint, smells quite good, and its fixative is very strong.

  • Feels fresh and perfect for casual occasions, hot days, and weekend outings. Starts citrusy with a spicy touch, then shifts to a more aquatic and marine vibe. I’ve worn it for a while and appreciate it more now; I like it, it lasts well on the skin, and it’s quality suitable for any age.

  • I find it fresh, suitable for informal situations, hot days, and weekend walks, nothing formal. At first, I notice citrus and slightly spicy notes, then it becomes fresher and more aquatic or marine. I’ve had it for a while and lately I appreciate it more than before; I like it and it has good longevity on the skin. It seems like a good quality perfume for any age.

I bought it today and it smells a lot like Jafra’s Navigo. That doesn’t make it bad; on the contrary, I love that scent. The problem with Navigo was that it didn’t last, so let’s see how this one does. Excellent for the low cost.

  • Fresh, versatile, and casual, perfect for everyday wear without being overwhelming. It’s citrusy and aquatic, rich for smelling, especially in summer.

AMOR FUGAZ: It’s a workhorse, versatile, and a steal of a price, perfect for everyday wear. Projects a medium intensity with citrus and aquatic notes, leaving behind geranium and water that give a fresh, clean vibe. It goes from sport to formal office if it’s cool out. The 18 is soft, not cloying at all, perfect for spring-summer or the beach, though it feels more modern and urban to me. It targets guys aged 20 to 40. Longevity is weak, fading in about two hours, so you need to reapply every three, but for the price, it’s worth it if you catch it on sale and don’t mind reapplying without guilt. The bottle is cool with a metal cap that protects it from heat and doesn’t look cheap. It offers great value, closely resembling expensive aquatic scents like RL, and is one of the best in its category despite the longevity limitations. If you like fresh scents, buy it blind; it smells a bit synthetic but it’s good. Sprays: 7-10. Longevity: 7. Sillage: Light. Projection: Light. Award: Value Champion.

AMOR FUGAZ: A versatile workhorse with a great price, ideal for daily wear. Medium intensity, citrusy and aquatic; then the geranium and aquatic notes linger, bringing freshness and cleanliness. Works well in sporty, casual, and even formal office settings when it’s hot. It has incredible softness, nothing cloying; its best time is daytime in spring and summer, even at the beach, though it feels more like a modern urban scent. Appeals to younger people, but the sweet spot is 20-40 years old. Performance isn’t great; the fixative fades in about two hours, so you need to reapply every three or so, but given the price, it’s attractive and a good buy if you catch it on sale—reapply without guilt. The bottle is sophisticated, with a metal cap that helps keep it cool in the heat, not feeling cheap at all. In my opinion, it offers excellent value for money; the scent is very close to expensive aquatic fragrances (like those from RL), making it one of the best fresh scents you can buy, despite its longevity limits. If you like fresh scents, buy it blind; it feels a bit synthetic but it’s a good aroma. Recommended sprays: 7 to 10. Fixative rating: 7. Sillage: Light. Intensity: Light. Award: “Value for Money Champion”.

A fragrance very rich in its aquatic citrus aroma, excellent for casual events. 100% recommended for its price and quality.

  • It’s delicious. For those of us who like citrus and fresh notes, this is the one. It’s not annoying and very pleasant for others. It’s for spring or summer daytime; the top notes are very enjoyable, those scents that put you in a good mood. Performance isn’t bad for the price; it lasts me 5-6 hours with good sillage for the first two, then it fades. A very good option for daily use; nobody dislikes it.

  • I think it’s a delicious fragrance, ideal for those who like citrus and fresh scents. It’s not annoying and very pleasant for others. It’s perfect for spring or summer during the day; the top notes are very uplifting and put you in a good mood. The performance is good for the price: it lasts about 5-6 hours, and the sillage is good for the first 2 hours before fading. A great option for daily use; no one dislikes it.

Ugh, my absolute favorite in the collection, it’s my signature. I have to buy several because the scent of its notes is intoxicating. Nowadays, most modern people don’t know this great fragrance; it shines more in hot months and even at night. I still haven’t found a rival; I love it.

My absolute favorite fragrance in the entire collection. It’s my signature, and I have to keep buying it because the scent of its notes is intoxicating. Nowadays, most modern people don’t know about this gem; it shines even more in hot months and at night. I haven’t found a rival yet; I love it.

  • Probably there isn’t a more common scent for men than citrus/marine, and that’s exactly what this bottle offers, but what makes Perry Ellis 18 different? It offers punch. It’s the typical spicy marine summer scent, which gives a very strong smell, especially at the start. No joke: in my teens, I bought this perfume and thanks to it, I discovered my allergic rhinitis; the spices made me sneeze after sneeze. That said, the strong smell has benefits; it projects very well for the first 2-3 hours, and the scent stands out on its own, perfect for events where you want to stand out. Then the longevity is good; it stays close to the skin for 7-8 hours. The big problem is that the smell of the first hours and the last is very different. When the sillage fades and it’s just on the skin, all the scents disappear except the spices. Wow, you smell it and it’s like you poured alcohol with pepper on yourself. I think this overshadows its good longevity; what’s the point of lasting all morning if you’re going to smell like pure irritation? If you’ve already bought the bottle, it’s not the end of the world, especially for casual levels, since many men buy a bottle just for weddings, and Perry Ellis 18 is perfect for that. However, if you haven’t bought it yet, believe me, there are better options on the market, many at a better price that will never make you smell like seasoned chicken.

  • Probably no scent is more common for men than the citrus/marine combo, and this bottle offers it, but Perry Ellis 18 stands out for its punchiness. It’s a summer fragrance loaded with spices that smells strong, especially at the beginning. During my teens, this perfume gave me allergic rhinitis due to the spices, but its projection is excellent for the first two or three hours, ideal for standing out at events. Then it lasts well as a skin scent for another 7 or 8 hours. The issue is that the dry-down is very different from the opening: when the sillage fades, it smells like you spilled peppermint alcohol. Its good longevity is undermined because, what’s the point of lasting all day if you end up smelling like spicy chicken? If you already have it, it’s fine for casual use, but if you haven’t bought it yet, believe me, there are better options out there that won’t make you smell like seasoned chicken.

  • Very pleasant scent. I generally don’t like marine fragrances, but this is an exception; it’s executed very well. There’s a brief alcohol kick at the start that fades quickly, revealing a really good smell. 100% recommended.

  • Fresh and pleasant aroma. Smells clean and is very well balanced. Seems made for daily use, with longevity around 6 hours.

I owned this back in 2007 when I was 12; it was a beast, lasting hours and projecting massively. Everyone complimented me, and few knew the name. I got it again in 2015 at age 20; it smelled the same but with less projection. Bought it again in 2023: it still smells great, but they reformulated it. Now it lasts about 4-5 hours and isn’t as intense, though it remains one of my favorites. The bottle changed too; it feels lighter and less premium now.

An affordable and very good fragrance. I use it in warm climates, though it doesn’t last long on my skin, maybe due to my pH. The marine and citrus notes are prominent but not overwhelming. I recommend testing it at a department store.

  • Citrus notes dominate with a lovely touch of wood. It has decent sillage and longevity. I see it as perfect for men over 25: from post-shower freshness to the beach, work, or a date. It goes with everything, from jeans and a polo to a linen suit (though not a tuxedo). Sillage 4/5, longevity 4/5, versatility 5/5. I’d definitely buy it again.

  • Smells clean and masculine, perfect for everyday wear. It’s a safe bet that won’t bother anyone, and most importantly, the price is unbeatable.
