  I have the cream and it’s a delight. I didn’t know peony before, but I’ve loved it. It’s floral, romantic, and delicate; it reminds me of girls in white dresses with flower crowns having fun in the countryside. It lasts about half an hour or a bit more depending on pH, and a little longer on clothes. Recommended for those who love florals.

  Delicate and exquisite, but the longevity and projection don’t justify the price. Still, I recommend it because it’s an olfactory wonder.

  It’s a green, wild peony that smells like flower, stem, and leaves—very natural and pretty. Perfect for spring/summer, but like almost everything from L’Occitane, it doesn’t last at all, and the trail is poor, staying only on the skin. The curious thing is that the roll-on that came in the box lasts longer than the bottle. If you like a subtle peony, try the roll-on; the brand should review the longevity of their fragrances.

  I’ve been looking for this for years, and if you like peony, the opening is a total hit. But the longevity and projection are awful; no matter how good the opening is, it smells like an armed robbery. It’s not worth the moderate price, and I’ll be looking for alternatives from Jo Malone or Aqua di Parma. Not repurchasing.
