It’s a different scent. I didn’t like it before; I thought it was very herbal and almost masculine, and it turned sour on my skin. Now that I’m 30, I used it again and I don’t know if the perfume changed or my skin, but I like it more now. It’s not my favorite, but when I wear it, I enjoy it. I still find it very herbal, without citrus or sweetness; it’s woody and has presence. The opening is spicy, like freshly ground pink pepper, then it becomes powdery but in a pleasant way—it doesn’t give you a headache. I agree with a review that says it smells like a humid day after the rain: instead of refreshing, it becomes heavy, but in a good way. It’s like a summer afternoon in the countryside after the rain, where the dry earth gets damp and lifts the scents of dried flowers, and trees come alive—that’s what Flora smells like. It’s not for every nose; I think it could be unisex due to its masculine touches, and I’d love to try it on a man.

Back again, but better: before it seemed herbal and masculine, bitter on my skin, but now at 30, I absolutely love it. It’s still herbal and woody, with a spicy pink pepper opening that evolves into a pleasant powdery dry-down without any headache-inducing chemicals. It reminds me of a humid day after rain in the countryside: heavy, suffocating, but in a good way, where dry earth gets soaked and flowers come alive. Not for everyone, maybe unisex; I’d love to try it on a man.

A powdery floral that smells like money. I adore it; I wear it for important meetings, fancy restaurant dates, and nights out. It’s liquid cash 😂

Flora by Gucci Eau de Toilette (2009) is a very subtle floral; I don’t know why so many people are unhappy with it. I find it pleasant and very energetic. It feels very youthful.

  5. It’s a powerful, heavy, homogeneous, yet pleasant floral, especially at first. It’s like a bright bouquet full of small, cheerful flowers. What stands out most is the osmanthus, which is beautiful and special. The downside is the evolution: the first few hours are gorgeous, but then the bouquet gets mushy and ages quickly. Something strange turns a nice scent into something murky, similar to Gucci Rush; is it the brand? The osmanthus is marvelous and worth it for lovers of that note.

Annoying and suffocating, it smells like rotten dampness and stifling summer heat, as if you were wrapped in a storm that only suffocates. Another failure from Giannini’s bad era at Gucci, when the brand turned into a zombie with soulless fragrances like Guilty or this nightmare. Far from being an elegant floral, it smells like dirty water from a vase with withered, almost rotting flowers. It reminds me of school fish tanks full of grime with a sad fish swimming around. It’s corrupted water, dead flowers, boiled fennel, a plastic Tupperware scrubbed a thousand times, dusty osmanthus, soft and drunk-on-water peony. It smells like flies, crickets, watery milk, and the foam of boiled snails. Every time I try it, I see morbid images, like trapping stale air in a bottle. No wonder it’s discontinued; it was a sad perfume that smelled of misfortune. P.S. I don’t like what Alessandro Michele does at Gucci, but Bloom, Guilty Absolute, and Memoire d’une odeur have some kick and design. This Flora was an invitation to suicide.

I have four bottles of this celestial delight that lasts wonders on both skin and clothes. It’s majestic, elegant, and very Gucci.

I love it. I’ve tried so many perfumes—most are either very strong and sweet or soft but bitter—and I was starting to lose hope of finding my match (I’m 18) until I found this. The moment I smelled it, I felt something delicate and soft with a sensual, energetic twist. It’s not too strong nor too weak; it has exactly the level I was looking for. It’s great for daytime due to its energy and freshness, and for night because of its sensual, sweet aroma. It’s the all-in-one I wanted. The longevity is incredible; I have a sample that’s been sitting for three days and it’s still the same, whereas others lasted only 6–7 hours. Without a doubt, it’s my favorite uwu.

I love it. I’ve been testing perfumes for a long time—many strong and sweet, others soft but bitter—until I lost hope at 18, until I found this. The moment I smelled it, I felt something delicate, soft, sensual, and energetic. It’s not too strong nor too weak; it has the perfect balance. You can wear it during the day for its energy and freshness, and at night for its sensual, sweet aroma. It’s the all-in-one scent I was looking for. The longevity is insane; I have a sample that’s been sitting for three days and it’s still the same, whereas others fade in 6-7 hours. Without a doubt, my favorite perfume uwu.

It’s very special, with a distinct and original scent. Very floral and it lasts quite a while. I love it; I’m sure I’ll buy it again. Even the bottle seems refined and elegant.

  13. I love this perfume; I don’t understand all the negative reviews. It’s soft and fresh, doesn’t smell like powder or like a typical woman’s scent. It’s easy to wear. Ideal for daytime and heat, though it also works at night. The opening might be a bit acidic, but then it turns sweet. Amidst so many cloying perfumes, this one feels more distinguished. I recommend it.

  14. I love this perfume; I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. It’s soft and fresh; it doesn’t smell powdery or like a lady’s perfume to me. It’s easy to wear. Ideal for daytime and warm weather, though it works at night too. The opening can be a bit acidic, but then it turns sweet. Among so many cloying perfumes, this one feels much more distinguished. I recommend it.

Bought it as a gift for my mom; she picked it out after trying several. It’s a nice scent that surprised me with its notes because it smells much stronger on the bottle. It’s powdery but pleasant, very typical ‘lady’ perfume—I wouldn’t wear it myself, but it suits my mom perfectly. If you’re looking for a gift for a woman over 45, you won’t be disappointed, and I think many will like it. The longevity is good.

  16. So simple and boring that it makes me gag. I detect a sour note; I don’t know what they were thinking when they created it.

  17. Ideal for spring and summer: fresh, clean, citrusy, slightly sweet, and energizing. It’s a light floral, though some find the intensity annoying. Maybe it lacks character, but that’s my taste—I prefer strong oriental scents. It seems faint to me, but the osmanthus adds a sensual touch that’s the only thing I’m drawn to, even though it remains a delicate, typical floral. It’s very simple and innovative, yet pleasant in its own right (and that’s already a lot). It’s one of the most inoffensive perfumes I know, perfect for work.
