An elegant aroma that I perceive as unisex. It’s a green, slightly earthy patchouli. I don’t think young people would be fans of it, but it has good longevity, even though I don’t think its trail is very wide.
A rose-patchouli combo with a spicy and lemony opening, leaving the rose as the main star once it dries down. It doesn’t invent anything; it’s not a complex fragrance, but it doesn’t pretend to be one either. If you’re looking for an elegant, luminous rose scent that’s perfectly executed with excellent quality for any time of year, Paris-Paris is a great option.
You are a subtle, delicate rose. You have the exact patchouli to sweeten the petals of a rose bathed in morning dew. I like you not just for your delicacy and elegance, but for your discretion. If I search for you with my nose, you’re right there, staying permanent for about 4 hours, shining in rhythm with my skin.
I own it, and for me, it’s simply Terre d’Hermes in pink. Subtle, nothing too much, very pleasant.
Here’s a carefree rose-patchouli combo that walks through life without trying too hard to be noticed, yet its purity and quality will delight both you and anyone who gets too close. It screams quality in silence, doesn’t overcomplicate things with too many nuances, knows who it is, and isn’t looking for anything more. The patchouli in the base is clean, with no impurities to taint the rose, the queen of this composition. Citrus and pepper accentuate its charms right from the start. Surprisingly, it lasts a long time on my skin—about 8 hours—with moderate-to-low projection, which I appreciate for that intimate, personal touch I look for in enclosed spaces. I can definitely picture it on a refined, uncomplicated, and polished 20-year-old woman.
I love how it settles after two hours into a calmer rose. At first, the citrus and pepper blend feels excessive to me; I think it’s missing some undisclosed ingredients. I’ve also tried the Divain version—similar notes, but it didn’t smell like the original. Honestly, I prefer the Divain because the harsh opening is less overwhelming. At 162 euros for a 125ml EDT, it’s pricey, but you pay for the exclusivity. At least the quality shines through, and it does last as an EDT should. You really need to love rose and patchouli to enjoy this. It’s a chypre structure; personally, it’s not my style, and I’d rather go with others in the line. I also disagree with the seasonal recommendations: it feels suffocating in the heat and redundant in spring. But everyone has their own taste.
