  It’s pleasant. Some newcomers say it ‘smells like herbs,’ and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Its virtue lies in the balance: the vanilla doesn’t make it sweet, the lavender doesn’t smell like a barbershop, and the vetiver doesn’t make you look older. They just frame the juniper and cypress, which are dominant. This makes it not an astringent green, but soft, rounded, and less sharp. Longevity and sillage are moderate and balanced, though it sometimes appears and disappears. It worked best for me on hot days.

  I love it. I wasn’t expecting so much, but it lasts forever and projects amazingly. It’s herbal, sophisticated, modern, and classic all at once—fresh yet warm in the dry down. A perfect balance. It puts me in a great mood 🙂

  It’s a herbal scent with a woody and slightly sweet fruity base. Of the three from the collection I tried today, this is the most intense, though after three hours it’s barely noticeable, lingering as a residual scent rather than a trail. It’s rich, elegant, addictive, classic yet modern. It seems more masculine, but it’s a delight anyone can enjoy, even if just for a few minutes.

  It’s a classic cologne with poor performance. I perceive it as a fresh herbal and fruity blend, almost citrusy, and it’s delicious, like most colognes. But unfortunately, its longevity leaves much to be desired.

  At first glance, it seems like a decent perfume. Given Chanel’s prices and its exclusivity, it’s not bad. It has character, though it’s not as fresh as its line suggests. The cypress is of good quality, suggesting woods and incense, accompanied by other woody notes. The juniper adds original tones, and a touch of iris recalls Bois d’Argent. A bit of vanilla sweetens the overall composition. It has superior quality and a certain evocative tone. Maybe the strong character of the cypress prevents me from using it often, but it deserves a sniff. Performance is average.

  Olivier Polge, inspired by the Scottish Highlands where Chanel sought refuge, offers an elegant and fresh cologne. The citrus top note of bergamot blends with the rocky forest of cypress, aromatized with juniper and a rough vetiver that, along with dry cedar, creates a green, crystal-clear, and slightly balsamic atmosphere. It’s more comforting than energizing, with a dominant green character. I see it as more masculine, suitable for someone with an elegant or semi-formal demeanor. It’s a French cologne with a Scottish soul. Longevity and projection are moderate, good for all year round except extreme cold. Excellent for the office or as a signature scent. It doesn’t smell old; it has class. Excellent aromatic quality, as all Chanel fragrances do.

  Paris Èdimbourg opens with juniper berries and undisclosed citrus notes, ideal for warm climates. At first, in decant, it seemed a bit pricey, but then I was captivated by its development. Chanel maintains high standards: it’s minimalist, effective, elegant, and direct. I’m thinking about buying the bottle.

The scent doesn’t evolve much, but I liked it. It works for all seasons: fresh for summer and warm for winter. Perfect for the office or formal events. Lasted over 8 hours with average sillage. It’s elegant, more masculine than unisex, and while Chanel isn’t cheap, it’s standard pricing.

The scent doesn’t evolve much beyond that, but it stays exactly like this and is very pleasant. It works year-round; it has notes for cold weather and, while not super fresh, it’s enough for summer too. Perfect for the office, formal events, or just enjoying. It lasts over 8 hours with a normal sillage. I find it elegant, more masculine than unisex, and while Chanel is never cheap, this is standard designer pricing.
