  • What a fragrance! I have about 25 perfumes and would swap them all for this. It’s an exquisite and very particular scent that not everyone likes, but it fascinates me. I don’t know the Initio one, but regarding OUD MYSTERY, I give it a 10/10. Do not recommend buying blind.

  • What a piece of a fragrance! I have about 25 perfumes and would swap them all just for this; it’s an exquisite scent. I don’t recommend buying blind; it’s very particular and not everyone likes it, but it particularly fascinates me. I don’t know the Initio one, but regarding OUD MYSTERY, I give it a 10/10.

  • Regardless of the top notes, it smells medicinal, like eugenol with woods and pepper. It reminded me of pure oud oil, and I wondered if that’s how it’s supposed to smell. Then it becomes heavy, dense, and very animalistic, like ammonia-soaked sweat after two hours of boxing. That strange sensation gives way to spicy flowers that last forever, until only the heavy base woods remain. Is this what the perfumer intended? I suppose so; it’s a Middle Eastern perfume, not French, and it plays by different rules. If it gives a wild touch, it’s a beast; if it’s original, it beats the Lattafa and lacks that Azzaro Wanted base. If it’s strong, my trigeminal nerve confirms it: it gives me a headache, so maybe I need an analgesic. Skip it for blind buys. Projection and longevity are abundant. It’s not for formal occasions, not for young people, not for projecting class or elegance. If you enjoy it, it’s for its originality, though several imitate Initio. Maybe only enthusiasts will like it. The average guy who just wants to smell good should forget it and look for something less complex.

  • Regardless of the opening notes, it smells medicinal, like an eugenol derivative with woods and some pepper. To be honest, it gave me the same sensation as pure oud oil, and I wondered if “that’s how it’s supposed to be.” Then it evolves into a heavy, dense, and very animalistic mix, reminding me of sweat and ammonia smell after two hours of off-season boxing. This strange sensation gives way to spicy flowers that last forever; then they fade, leaving base woods as heavy as the previous ones. Is that what the perfumer intended? I suppose so; it’s a Middle Eastern perfume, not French, and it plays by different rules, which I like. If it gives a wild animal touch, it’s a beast. If it’s original, it’s much better than the Lattafa and lacks that Azzaro Wanted base. If it’s strong, my trigeminal nerve tells me yes, it gives me a headache, so I suppose you need to use it with analgesics. Skip it for blind buys. To recap: abundant longevity and projection. It’s not for formal occasions, not for young people, not elegant, doesn’t connote wealthy family or class, isn’t soft or discreet. If you enjoy it, it’s for its originality (not that original, several imitate Initio). I wonder if only enthusiasts will like it. The average guy who just wants to smell good should forget it and look for something less complex.

  • Bought it a week ago. Even though I’m not an expert, I detect metallic saffron with nutmeg and a hint of lavender. It evolves into a non-sweet oud and finishes with a very masculine scent due to the musk and patchouli. It’s totally masculine; I don’t see it on women, but it’s perfect for daily wear, fresh outings, or work. The $30 price tag felt fair compared to local brands. My bottle is from December 2024, and while I don’t feel it much (maybe my nose is fatigued), my friends say it projects a lot. Longevity is variable: sometimes I smell it the next day, other times it disappears in hours, which is inexplicable. I love it, but I don’t think everyone will; people here aren’t used to this scent. Hopefully, it improves with time since it doesn’t live up to the “beast” reviews. I recommend it, but not blindly; try it first, even if just comparing it to the Lattafa version. Perfumazo.

  • I tried it a week ago. My nose isn’t expert, but I noticed metallic saffron with nutmeg and a little lavender. It settles on a non-sweet oud, ending very masculine due to the musk and patchouli. It’s totally masculine; I don’t see it for women. I use it daily for school, fresh outings, or meetings. The $30 price seemed fair, cheaper than national brands like Bensimon or Antonio Puig. My batch is from December 2024, and I can’t confirm its capabilities for sure. I don’t smell it (maybe my nose is fatigued), but some friends say it projects quite a bit while others say it doesn’t, so I can’t conclude on projection. Longevity is variable: sometimes I smell it the next day right after waking up, other times it disappears in a few hours, which is inexplicable since I use it on both cold and hot days. It’s a fragrance I love, but I don’t think everyone will like it; at least not here, where we aren’t used to this scent. Hopefully, it will mellow and improve with occasional use, as it doesn’t perform like a “beast” according to reviews. Maybe it just needs to settle, even if it’s an old batch. In conclusion, I recommend it; don’t buy blind if you can test it (even if just comparing to the Lattafa, which would be less sweet and spiced). Perfumazo.
