If there were a hyper casual/sport version of Bleu de Chanel, I imagine it exactly like this. It’s the same profile but simplified, less elegant, keeping and focusing on that clean, soapy part that people often describe as “shower gel”… Less woody, spicy, and ambery. Here Zara did a really good job of landing a fragrance profile that is often cloned in a rough, vulgar, or loud way, and I can’t help thinking they missed a great opportunity by leaving it with such poor longevity and projection. On my skin, for practical purposes, it doesn’t even project for an hour (personal scent bubble from the start). I’d gladly pay double for a version with better performance.
