I was looking for more perfumes for my collection. I went to the perfumerie with my list, wanting something sweet but not cloying for summer. The perfumer suggested this one. I wasn’t attracted at first because what hooks me is usually the bottle, and I didn’t trust a car brand to make good perfume. But when the perfumer handed me the sample, all my bad opinions vanished. It smelled like tea. Instantly, I was transported, awake but dreaming, to a beautiful cabin in the countryside on a rainy afternoon. Me in my pajamas, reading a book, sipping a delicious cup of tea. Literally, smelling it transported me to that scene. It’s sweet, but in a light way. It’s also quite discreet, making you want to lean in to smell more. I was captivated; it’s mysterious, soft, delicate, elegant, and playful all at once. The trail isn’t very strong, but if you’re a meter away from someone, they’ll catch a hint, and it will grow as they get closer. It lasts 6-8 hours on my skin, which I consider very good. Even if you apply more, I doubt it will cause headaches. In my opinion, it’s excellent for rainy summer days or sunsets. For a sunny day, I’d look for something more playful. This is for a quiet, pleasant, relaxing moment with a special someone. The only thing that confuses me is that the perfumer mentioned other ingredients. She did mention jasmine, but also said it had roses and violets. I’m surprised that, despite not knowing the exact composition, she managed to show me this beauty. It’s a rough diamond. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
I was given a 1ml sample; it’s my first time smelling it. The opening sounded familiar, I guess the intense pear note. After 10-15 minutes, that juicy vibe fades into a deep, floral sweetness. There’s a tea vibe, but not black tea—more like rooibos. I detect orange blossom, and it’s not metallic or too fresh; it’s just a crystalline sparkle. I don’t know the scent of gardenia alone, but I think paired with a dark, dirty jasmine, it supports the aroma nicely. So far, it’s a good perfume within a known sweet, golden floral style. It’s not my usual style, but it’s well-made and doesn’t smell synthetic. I’m not sure about the price-to-quality ratio yet. It ends with sugared vanilla and some floral flashes.
It’s like Alien Flora Futura but with double the performance and half the price. Basically, cheap and beautiful.
It starts floral and juicy fruity, with pear as the star and another fruit I can’t quite identify. After 10 minutes, the intensity drops and the jasmine emerges, smelling like sambac—a flower with a slight minty note (I’ve felt this in Alien by Tom Ford and La Vie est Belle Leclat by Lancôme). Finally, it settles into a woody, vanilla, and slightly powdery dry down. It’s an under-the-radar perfume with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. The longevity is moderate, but the trail is delightful.
It starts fresh and fruity with juicy pear as the star, plus another fruit I can’t quite identify. After 10 minutes, the intensity drops and the jasmine emerges, smelling like sambac—a slightly mentholated flower (I’ve noticed this in Tom Ford’s Alien and Lancome’s La Vie est Belle Leclat). Finally, it settles into a woody, vanilla, and slightly powdery dry down. It’s an underrated perfume with excellent value. The longevity is moderate, but the sillage is delightful.
Honestly, I didn’t like it at all. I bought it because it came on promo with a necklace and thought, ‘it can’t be this bad.’ It claims to be similar to Alien, but there’s nothing alike. The jasmine is very prominent, and I can’t stand it. It’s pure jasmine.
Honestly, I didn’t like it at all. I bought it because it came on promo with a necklace and thought it couldn’t be that bad. It claims to be similar to Alien, but there’s nothing alike. The jasmine note is very prominent and I absolutely can’t stand it. It’s pure jasmine.
I bought this blindly based on comments on another site. It smells like something I recognize but can’t place, maybe an old perfume. To me, it smells like an older lady—perfect for cold weather with that powdery, slightly talc-like jasmine note. It lasts well; it’s strong at first but softens quickly. It’s sweet but not overpowering, ideal for daytime. It has similarities to Elie Saab due to the jasmine and orange blossom.
I picked this up on sale for about 35 pesos. I bought it because it reminded me of Mugler’s Alien (which I own and is a gem, now around 200 or 300 pesos). I expected it to be different and last less, but on my skin they’re almost identical, like twins. At first, the mentholated blackberry really stands out, then it explodes into an insanely sweet jasmine. The projection surprised me: after 3 hours, it was still leaving a trail, and the sillage is incredible. The dry-down is very similar to Alien. Mugler’s lasts until the next day; this one doesn’t quite hit 8 hours, but for the price, I’m super happy. Smelling almost like Alien for a third of the price with decent longevity is a real find. I’d recommend it if you like Alien.
Got it on sale for about $35, super cheap. I thought it was similar to Mugler’s Alien (mine is a luxury version, costing $200-$300 in Argentina these days). I didn’t expect it to last long or be identical, but on my skin, they’re like twin brothers. At first, the blackberry note is very prominent and quite mentholated, then a super sweet jasmine explodes. The projection surprised me: after 3 hours, I walked past where I was and it still smelled, with an incredible trail. The dry-down is almost identical to Alien. Mugler’s definitely has quality and lasts until the next day; this one doesn’t reach 8 hours, but for the price, I’m mega happy. I’m getting almost the same vibe as Alien for a third of the price, with good longevity and trail. I’m content and recommend it if you like Mugler’s Alien.
The bottle is a disaster—nothing feminine or sophisticated, it looks grotesque and doesn’t match the Mercedes Benz image at all. The scent is barely noticeable, smells cheap, and honestly, it just didn’t work for me. It’s a waste of money; there are Argentine colognes with much better quality and longevity for half the price.
