  • I’ve been wearing it for a few days and I’ve liked it. It’s feminine and sweet, but not gourmand; guys love it. It smells like cherry, almonds, and a flower I can’t identify (I’m not sure how violets smell in perfumes). It’s delicate and subtle, making you feel tender yet sexy. It has a powdery touch, reminding me a bit of Zara Nuit, but this one is sweeter and more floral. They’re similar in that powdery, vanilla, and almond vibe, though Nuit lasts longer. Violet Blossom has good projection at first but fades quickly, staying close to the skin, only for those very close by. Ideal for dates; you’ll need to reapply. It’s a different scent from other Zara perfumes and stands out among similar ones. If it weren’t for the longevity and projection, it smells like a designer perfume, like Guerlain. Edit: I tried it in its ideal climate, a cold, rainy, or humid day, and the projection and longevity were surprising. Now it seems a bit gothic to me, because on cloudy, stormy days is where it truly shines.

  • Warm and super sweet aroma. Even though they don’t list it, it smells like almond to me and reminds me (without being a clone) of Poison Girl, though this one feels more nocturnal. You can definitely smell the flower and tonka bean. I’ll use it in winter and autumn so I don’t get tired of it. The projection is moderate at first, then more intimate, but it lasts quite a while for the price. Good purchase. Scent 8/10, Longevity 7/10, Projection 7/10, Value 8/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 7/10. Might buy again.

I wanted it so much, and when I used it, what a disappointment! It smells like something I already own but I can’t remember what it is. It’s sweet but has something that just doesn’t quite work for me. Don’t buy it; besides, it lasted less than an hour on my skin.

  • amanteparfum

I’m obsessed with it, and my daughter loves it too—it’s already her signature scent, even though the longevity is short.

  • It’s exquisite! I’ve never smelled anything like this from Zara before; I love it for autumn and it’s super potent. When I wear it, it lasts for hours, though it’s not for enclosed spaces because it’s quite strong. I love it and hope they never discontinue it.

  • Awesome! The first time I smelled it, I loved it. Personally, it’s rare for a fragrance to last on me, but this one sticks around for about 4 hours before I need to reapply. Among the notes, magnolia stands out the most. For the price, it’s a marvel; I’ll definitely buy it again. It’s sweet but very enjoyable, and it even smells good just from the bottle.

  • lauraaaaa86

Wow! It’s floral and sweet at the same time, with that soft touch typical of Zara but super wearable and delicious. It reminds me a bit of Girl of Now, though it’s not a clone to my nose. I recommend it 100%!

  • I bought it blindly as a treat during lockdown, seeing good reviews online. When I sprayed it, I thought, ‘you said you wouldn’t buy blind again, and here you are falling for it again.’ I didn’t like the opening at all; it smelled very intense with florals, and I’m not a floral person—I’m more into sweet and gourmand scents. But as time passed and it settled, it smelled amazing; I love it. It’s sweet and pleasant, nothing like the opening, and although it’s not listed in the ingredients, it smells like almonds to me. For the price, it’s totally worth it because the base notes are incredibly rich.

Violet Blossom came out on sale for 159 pesos for 100ml. It has a sweet fruity opening; although it says it contains cherry blossom, it smells more purple or violet at first. It’s a fruity scent that reminds me of grapes or maybe dark blackberries. Once it dries down, it’s similar to Armani Code Cashmere. I own both and noticed the resemblance: surprisingly, Violet Blossom has more projection than the Armani, which costs almost 10 times more. The difference in the dry-down is that the Zara version stays sweet and juicy, while the Armani is a drier sweet. YouTube says it smells similar to Elie Saab’s Girl of Now, but I haven’t tried it yet, though it would be worth it.

  • I don’t like the opening at all, but I love the dry down. It lasts more than a day on clothes, and the next day I like it even more. I almost don’t wear it because it’s too strong and invasive at first. Once my sister-in-law got into the car and asked why it smelled like alcohol; I’m sure it was this perfume; yes, it does have a fairly alcoholic note.

  • Beayguille8

It reminds me a lot of Zara’s Sense of Glam, practically identical, but that one is no longer available and was more intense. Its opening smells like purple fruit, grape, or blackberry, but as it dries, those notes become imperceptible. I’d define it as clearly feminine; it smells like a young, fun, and well-behaved girl, but it’s not as crowd-pleasing as YouTube says. I doubt I’d buy it again.

Male opinion: sexy, sensual, edible, refined, elegant, and sweet without being cloying. Ideal for outings and dates. Works perfectly from a 16-year-old girl to a 50-year-old lady; it doesn’t show age, just for special occasions. At first, it smells like cherry and flowers, maybe a bit alcoholic for the first 5 minutes, but as it dries, it smells delicious and natural, nothing synthetic, like a chocolate filled with cherry. Here in Chile, there’s a “Capri” chocolate that smells exactly like this. It lasts a long time, between 6 and 8 hours, projecting strongly for the first 3. Nothing to envy from designer brands, even better than mass-market scents. Scent: 9/10, longevity and projection: 9/10, value for money: 10/10.

  • I like it a lot, from start to finish. For the price, it’s an absolute steal (many designers can’t even touch its heels). It’s sweet but not cloying, a distinct and dark floral with a gourmand twist. The opening isn’t alcoholic and features a potent fruity note, a mix of blackberry and cherry. As it dries, the fruit recedes and it becomes a warm floral with tonka bean and vanilla. Although it’s dense, it maintains freshness; better for cold weather or night, but with controlled sprays, it can be worn year-round. High projection for the first hour, then moderate until it fades. Lasts 5-6 hours on skin, which is more than acceptable. I don’t see it as equal to Girl of Now or Poisson Girl. Summary: if you like it, buy it; if not, give it a try. Hopefully Zara doesn’t discontinue it.

  • I bought it because of the good reviews, but it was a disappointment. It’s very dark and the scent overwhelms me; I don’t know why. The performance isn’t bad for Zara; it doesn’t fade as fast as other scents from the brand, but it’s just not for me, although I ended up with the 200ml 🙁

  • I bought it on sale at Zara without thinking. Upon application, it smells like intense cherry, but as it dries down, the gardenia and almond and blackberry notes bloom. The sillage is moderate; the first half-hour is a bit overwhelming, but on my skin it lasts about 5 hours, which is fair for the price. I recommend it for night dates for that sexy sweetness and divine base. I’d buy it again as an affordable winter option.

  • You either love this perfume or hate it. I love it. It has an intense cherry wood aroma, dark, which smells more like wood than flower. The opening is intoxicating and spectacular; as it settles, it blends with tonka bean into a sweet, sensual, and nocturnal scent. It’s one of my favorites, reminds me of autumn, and I adore it.

  • I love this Zara scent; it’s my second favorite and one of the few that lasts acceptably on my skin. Instant love at first sniff. The value is brutal: I bought the 30ml and the next day I was already ordering the 200ml. The 3 Bs: Good, Beautiful, and Cheap.

  • Delicious, smells like creamy grape candy with a fresh touch. Lasts more than 6 hours on my skin and projects well; on clothes, it lingers until you wash them.

  • What a fragrance, gorgeous and super feminine. It has great sillage for a budget option and caught me by surprise; I truly love it.

  • Carmina-VM

As several reviews have said, it’s a dark, heavy perfume and can be a bit invasive since the scent is too strong. It has a very fruity opening that lasts only 15 minutes before settling and becoming very sweet, smelling of wood and vanilla. Although it’s a flat perfume, it has an amazing trail and longevity; on my skin, it lasts more than 6 hours, and for the price, it seems excellent. I recommend this perfume for night and special occasions, because for everyday wear it might give you a headache.

  • It was a blind buy; generally, I feel an attraction to perfumes with violet bottles. I debuted it and loved it; I own many perfumes but was looking for one with that particular scent, wanting something that smelled like the powdered drink packets sold in Colombia many years ago called Fresco Royal, I think it was grape flavor, they don’t sell it anymore, I loved that girlhood scent, and well, I have it now! P.S.: I own the Girl of Now by Elie Saab and they are nothing alike, whereas Violet Blossom does have an air of Mugler’s Alien, which is one of my favorite perfumes!

  • Lady Spritz

I like it a lot. I haven’t bought it yet, but this winter it will be mine. It reminds me of Tous Onyx, the little black bear.

  • I love the scent of this fragrance; I feel it’s velvety and creamy, it really worked with my skin. I can see that many women experience Zara fragrances lasting nothing, but that’s not my case; the ones I’ve bought last about 6 hours, which is perfect. I’ve had a great experience. Also, Violet Blossom isn’t that similar to Girl of Now, Mademoiselle Rochas, or Trussardi’s Sound of Donna… I own those, but according to my nose, these perfumes follow that same line without being identical; they’re all warm and embracing. The same goes for Halloween Shot, which I recommend for those who like these aromas. Also, I like intense scents and use Violet Blossom to layer with aromas like the ones I mentioned, and I love how they combine.

  • I like it a lot, although it’s very soft; I wish I could smell it better. Update: I stopped liking it quickly. It’s soapy with a green undertone, which I assume is why they compare it to Alien… no comparison at all, not even to Girl of Now. If it has an air of Mercedes Benz Women, which shares a similarity with Alien (a distant cousin with similar DNA) and is clearly the poor cousin, okay, if MB is the poor cousin, this is the three-times-poorer cousin of Mercedes Benz 😂

  • Carolina Casas

It smells identical to Classique Essence by JPG, except at the end the Zara version turns smoky while the JPG one keeps its sweetness, but to my nose it’s a very good dupe. Honestly, I stick with JPG.

  • DanimendezAR

Sweet without being cloying, enveloping, and delicate. This is how I want to smell always 💜. After reading reviews about it being a dupe for Alien (which I don’t perceive as that similar), I bought the 10ml roll-on to try it. I felt so enchanted that I ended up buying the 180ml without a second thought!! It’s MARVELOUS; I use it both day and night. Although it has moderate persistence on me, it’s so accessible that it doesn’t hurt to replicate. As a huge fragrance fan, I like to have variety because I get bored wearing the same perfume, but with this one, I feel like I found “THE” perfume I want on my nightstand, in my purse, everywhere. I love, love, love.

  • Karencommentz

I bought it blindly based on all the recommendations and was totally disappointed. The scent is good, sweet, floral… no complaints there, but the longevity?? Max one hour. I have to apply it on my clothes to smell it a bit. At least it’s cheap.

  • BeluRabbit

One of Zara’s best fragrances. It lasts long enough on my skin to surprise me, and its aroma, heavily marked by tonka vanilla (a note I adore), makes a super low-cost perfume unique, even compared to the others from Zara. I got an 180ml for 6,500 pesos (around $17). I guess it depends on everyone’s skin, but I wouldn’t hesitate to try it if I walked past Zara.

  • I stumbled upon this while testing it out once and ended up grabbing an 180ml bottle at an insane price… the scent is a dream come true… it’s something that sits right between Girl of Now and Hypnotic Poison, an absolute masterpiece… but I can’t speak highly of it right now with this heat. I’ll update later.

  • Violet Blossom is an amber-floral fragrance, rich, elegant, and long-lasting, considering it’s low-cost; it’s truly the best from Zara; totally, keeping in mind the distance, it’s the teenage sister of Girl of Now and Alien EDP. For a quarter or fifth of the price, it’s one hundred percent worth it. Who will like it: lovers of Alien.

  • karugervazoni

Today I wore Girl Of Now to work. When I left, I passed by Zara, tried this perfume, and got a flower of surprise: it was the same as what I was wearing, haha. It’s the undisputed dupe of Elie Saab, incredible. The only downside is that after three hours, I barely smell it. But it’s very affordable, and you can easily reapply. I saw reviews saying it’s similar to Alien? ??? Really? Just because its bottle is violet doesn’t mean it imitates Mugler. Plus, it doesn’t smell like jasmine soap. It’s identical to Girl of Now. With this, I confirm you shouldn’t rely on Google’s supposed dupe lists. Go try perfumes and check it out yourself so you don’t end up disappointed. Hope my review helps!

  • I, as a man, thought a cologne this rich like Lolita Lempicka wouldn’t smell good… until I tried this masterpiece, it’s a hit.

  • kteresamp

I bought it blindly because I always saw good reviews and the notes caught my attention, but I was let down. It smells very similar to Hypnotic Vanilla by Zara; both are very synthetic. I can’t stand them and they even give me a headache; I don’t know how so many people like them.

  • Josfer0512

Violet Blossom is addictive for me, delicious, strong, and yes, very similar to Elie Saab’s Girl of Now. For the price, I have no problem reapplying it every three hours. Thanks, Zara, for this affordable alternative. I’ll keep my Girl of Now for the collection 🤭.

  • It’s similar, not the same. It’s in the style of Ilia Secreto, but the Natura one is more elegant to my taste, while the Zara one is more casual.

  • Pilar_vasa

To me, it smells like a mysterious, dark, and mystical woman walking alone down a flower-lined street illuminated by the moon. It doesn’t smell like Hypnotic Poison, but it has those same vibes of mystery and something esoteric beyond this plane. It’s a perfume that transports you and envelops you in a dark yet enchanting and floral halo. I recommend it for night and any season.

  • Sometimes it hooks me, other times it gives me a headache. I picked it up at Zara because in the store, amidst the whole mix, it smelled violet and floral on my wrist. At home, total disappointment; it doesn’t smell like it did in the store. I give it a chance every now and then, I think I’ve only liked it about three times, many other times it gave me a headache. It can smell like grape, nocturnal, and elegant, or synthetic, like a cheap body mist that kills you. I shouldn’t have bought such a big bottle.
