A refreshing and gentle scent, perfect for intense heat days. It’s very different from the pink Mayar EDP: marked coconut water notes with a herbal citrus base. Very rich and pleasant, but nothing like the previous version. Recommended for its freshness and delicacy, but make sure to test it first; don’t buy blind.
It’s totally different from the pink Mayar EDP. I love its freshness; on the skin it feels very clean and the scent is bold. You’ll surely love it for its floral and fruity notes. I recommend it for these intense heat days.
If you were planning to buy this flanker because you loved the original Mayar, umm, I wouldn’t be so sure. It smells of green leaves and coconut water; when it dries down, it has a vanilla touch but isn’t sweet. It’s very fresh, maybe for the beach or intense heat if you’re looking for something cooling. It’s not overpowering, more on the soft side.
I’m sticking with the pink Mayar because I’m quite a gourmand; this one smells unusual—a fig-forward opening that’s lovely but not loud. It’s soft and fresh, elegant enough to feel clean. Not sure if I’d buy it again.
I bought the Pink Mayar blind and didn’t like it; for me, the opening is very synthetic with a very noticeable raspberry that I didn’t enjoy. I’m mentioning this because I arrived at this version with doubts, but a friend gifted me a decant to try it. So, the first thing I want to say is that they don’t resemble each other. Unlike Mayar, this one isn’t synthetic in the opening. Since I atomized it, it reminded me of a scent I used in my adolescence, but I can’t recall which one now. The top notes seem fresh; it’s a scent perceived on a tray of tropical fruits, then it becomes very green, but not unpleasant—I think it’s due to the water lily or lotus. For me, it’s tropical green; I don’t feel it as sweet or woody. To sum it up: tropical fruits with a green sensation, I consider it suitable for spring and summer.
It’s a perfume that smells delicious; I felt an elegant and fresh vibe with a subtle sweet touch that makes it very feminine. I bought it blind and it definitely turned out to be a hit.
It’s a perfume that smells really good; I get a vibe that’s elegant and fresh but with a subtle sweet touch that makes it very feminine. I bought it blind and definitely loved it.
It’s a fresh, white floral, aquatic, and delicately sweet scent; I find it casual with an elegant touch, perfect for a sunny day with a sexy short and a white blouse. It’s a simple but lovely fragrance. Unfortunately, on me, it doesn’t project and doesn’t last more than 2 hours. Would I buy it again? No.
Totally different from Mayar, this one is very fresh, ideal for daytime and warm weather, and looks spectacular. I detect a green aromatic note in the opening, which drops as it dries down to become more floral. I like it. Pity that it doesn’t last long on me.
It exceeded my expectations, what a delicious perfume. The opening is an explosion of green mandarin and melon that feels so natural, like drinking a cold homemade juice. Throughout the fragrance’s life, coconut water with jasmine and musk predominates, all accompanied by a base of lily and lotus that gives it an aquatic touch without smelling like a hospital, providing the perfect summer freshness. On my skin, it lasts all day with moderate projection. I always have trouble with synthetic fruity scents, and this is the opposite. In my opinion, it must be the best fresh perfume Lattafa has achieved so far and has quickly become one of my favorites, as I was looking for a fresh summer scent that wasn’t the typical aquatic citrus.
It exceeded my expectations. What a delicious perfume. The opening is an explosion of green mandarin and melon that feels so natural, like drinking a cold homemade juice. Throughout the fragrance, coconut water with jasmine and musk dominates, accompanied by a base of lily and lotus that gives it an aquatic touch without that hospital-like smell sometimes associated with lotus, delivering perfect summer freshness. On my skin, it lasts all day with moderate projection. I always have issues with synthetic fruity scents, but Mayar Natural Intense is the opposite. In my opinion, it should be the best fresh perfume Lattafa has done so far and is already one of my favorites; I was looking for something summery that wasn’t the typical aquatic citrus.
I wonder if those who think it sounds like Aqua di Gioia have ever smelled that perfume, because they don’t resemble each other at all. That said: it’s fresh, very green, perfect for enjoying on hot days or climates. It doesn’t overwhelm and leaves a very pleasant trail, like cologne water, for quite a few hours. It picks up strength with the heat. The notes I perceive most are white flowers (jasmine) and little fruits I can’t quite distinguish. In short, it’s super pleasant for feeling perfumed on hot days; although it’s soft, others seem to perceive it.
I wonder if those who think it’s similar to Acqua di Gioia have had the same experience, because they don’t resemble each other at all. That said: it’s a fresh, very green scent perfect for hot days. It’s not overpowering and leaves a pleasant trail, like a cologne, for quite a few hours. It picks up strength with the heat. The most noticeable notes are white flowers (jasmine) and some fruits I can’t quite identify. All in all, super pleasant for feeling perfumed in the heat, even if it’s soft for others.
I’m into fresh, floral, and fruity scents. I thought it would be fresh as I read, but on me, it smells sweet. The top notes are indeed citrusy—you can feel the green mandarin and fig—but then it turns sweet. It gave me a headache, and my boyfriend did too. Not buying it again.
Who said this is a dupe for Acqua di Gioia? That’s the biggest scammer out there. I bought it for that reason and felt ripped off. It doesn’t even remotely smell like the Armani masterpiece. It’s a ‘mehh’. Never buying it again.
The scent is delicious, but it doesn’t project. You have to get close for people to smell it. Good longevity, though.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this perfume and was pleasantly surprised! I thought it would be just another generic freshie, but nope—it’s fresh yet complex, nothing linear with so many layers, which is awesome. You can definitely smell the fig and melon… The scent is elegant but casual enough for daytime. The turquoise bottle is gorgeous, and the longevity is good. I also have the Pink Mayar, which is an amazing burst of passionfruit. These Lattafa siblings are top-tier quality.
This year’s launch, being a flanker of Mayar, totally sets itself apart from its sister; their personalities are opposites, for the better, I like that both have their own vibe. It’s not something that turns your head, but it is refreshing, lively, energetic, and easy to wear, loaded with aromas from the late 90s and early 2000s, so ozonic, aquatic, and clean. First, you enjoy slightly bitter but pleasant citrus, then it blends with fused coconut water and fig, you don’t know where one starts and the other ends, and immediately the water lily and jasmine appear, so fragrant and radiant, always the protagonists without losing the supporting ozonic notes. I like its life-filled and fresh sensation, with many layers in its evolution. Mayar Natural Intense can be worn by a gentleman and looks good, but it also fits perfectly with a feminine vibe. It’s great for informal occasions, the office, and intense heat; it lasts about 6 hours with moderate projection.
I bought it for very hot days and find it very fresh, but its fruity opening doesn’t convince me. For me, melon and fig are sweet and tender, and the citrus with coconut fades quickly. On my skin, it smells like tender melon, fruit water, and a bit of flowers. What stands out most is the melon. Although it’s aquatic, don’t confuse it with a citrus. Good longevity and moderate trail, ideal for summer.
I tested two sprays per arm: at first, it smells strong of alcohol, but after two minutes the fruits come out, and at 15 minutes, the flowers. Ideal for dry summers (22-35 degrees). It lasted me 2 hours with projection, then only skin scent until 7 or 8. I’ll see if my girlfriend gets different longevity. Here it costs $22-$27.
Smells acidic, sweet, and clean. It’s super summery and fresh. For me, Acqua Di Gioia doesn’t last or I have to overapply, but this one does last and is versatile for day or night. I was surprised by how rich it is; it’s not the same as Acqua di Gioia, but it’s beautiful. Perfect for going out in summer or spring, for all ages if you like fresh, floral, and fig notes.
I tested a decant with high expectations of feeling fruits embraced by clean, aquatic flowers with a light dry-down. Honestly, it killed me in a bad way. It could have been an excellent perfume, an icon in this olfactive family, but I think it’s very poorly balanced. I couldn’t enjoy the fruits because the lotus flower felt too sharp, enhancing that soapy smell with the water lily and coconut water; it became very tiring after a few hours. It’s not a clean scent; it smells like cheap soap. If the aquatic notes were higher quality (they smell very synthetic), it could improve. But the fruits have no presence, as if they don’t exist. If you like soapy and hyper-aquatic scents, it’s yours. For me, a bad experience 🤧.
Yesterday I said I didn’t like Arabic perfumes in the Yara Moi review, but I was hugely surprised by Mayar Intense: it’s complex, very fresh, and vibrant. I put it on my wrist, took a shower, and I can still smell it, with a great trail, especially for summer in Chile. Update: now it lasts a maximum of 3 hours, then I have to reapply; it doesn’t project much, but if you get close, you can feel it.
Smells good, but at first, a green note stood out on my skin, very similar to Burberry Touch at the start. Then you feel the melon note and those well-Caribbean aquatic notes, like my island. What lingers last on the skin is the fig sweetness. It has good performance, perfect for hot days or even winter.
It’s an attempt at Acqua di Gioia: smells good and is pleasant, but ultimately it’s much sweeter. At first, the alcohol is quite noticeable. We know you can’t match the original Giorgio Armani, but it’s one of the most harmonious attempts I’ve tried. Some will love it, while others might think it’s a cheap copy. I recommend trying it and forming your own opinion.
Love at first sniff; I was sure I’d love it. I bought a decant and confirmed it’s a perfume I need in my collection: green, fruity, aquatic with a sweet touch. I don’t know the Aqua Di Gioia they claim is a dupe, but I highly recommend this: good, beautiful, and cheap. I can’t say much about longevity since I just tried it, but for me, most perfumes last five to six hours on skin. What is true is that it has a more personal projection.
I don’t understand why people say it doesn’t smell like Acqua di Gioia. I’ve worn the original for ten years, but since I tried Mayar Natural Intense, I adopted it and ditched the other. This one lasts longer, smells the same, and the price difference is insane. If you like ADG, you have to try this.
I just received it and tried it. It smells very pleasant, totally aquatic and ozonic. The opening doesn’t win me over, but after 5 minutes it becomes something very subtle. I really like the lily and green notes. It’s perfect for hot days. I’ll see how long it lasts on skin and clothes. It’s an easy-to-please scent, nothing surprising, but pleasant to wear to work or to enclosed places with lots of heat. It inspires cleanliness and tidiness. The trail is medium/low on my skin. I’ve used the ADG by Armani before and I don’t consider it a clone, although they share notes; they’re different, the vibe is distinct but both are rich for the heat.
I love it, it smells delicious and lasts quite a bit on the skin, about 6 hours. It’s a creamy fig with coconut and melon that gives a very tropical vibe. I’m enchanted again because it’s tropical but doesn’t smell like sunscreen, which is a relief.
I love it; it smells rich and lasts quite a bit on the skin, about 6 hours. It’s a creamy fig accompanied by coconut and melon, giving a very tropical vibe. I’m obsessed because it’s tropical but doesn’t smell like sunscreen.
I hate marine, melon, and citrus scents, but I wanted to break the mold with this perfume and I have no regrets. It doesn’t smell too much like the sea, and I don’t feel the melon; it’s clean. Ideal for daily summer use and to stand out with its scent.
People say it’s a clone of Aqua Di Giogia and that’s a cheap lie. The original smells like mint, lime, and sugar, super fresh. This one, on the other hand, turns into vanilla and coconut quickly, nothing fresh. At first it smells like freshly cut grass, but that bad grass that doesn’t smell good, not clean. Then it goes to coconut and vanilla, and honestly, I didn’t like it. I adore the classic Mayar and trusted the good reviews, but it disappointed me. Maybe I would have preferred it green with vanilla like the Mugler Aura, but it falls short: it’s just green with coconut and vanilla, a weird mix for me.
Many say it’s a dupe for Aqua Di Gioia, the worst lie. Aqua Di Gioia smells of fresh mint with lime and sugar, very fresh; Mayar Natural Intense smells of vanilla and coconut very quickly, it’s not fresh at all. At the start, it smells of grass in a bad way, freshly cut grass but not fresh, rather that bad grass that doesn’t smell good… it turns into coconut and finally vanilla, I didn’t like it at all. I love the classic Mayar and let myself be carried away by the positive reviews, but I didn’t like it; I was greatly disappointed. Maybe I would like it more if it were green vanilla like Mugler Aura, but it falls short; it’s just green with coconut and vanilla, a very strange combination to me.
To me it smells like men’s deodorant, but at least I tried it in a decant. Forget the reviews saying it smells like fig; it’s a chaos of fruits with something very synthetic marine.
I had good expectations; I don’t dislike it, but I don’t find it fresh or aquatic. Melon, coconut, and vanilla dominate, which to my taste are more for winter. I’m using it in summer and I don’t think it’s for this season.
I tried it in the store and I have to say it smelled like floor disinfectant cleaner to me, or maybe mistolin.
It’s an interesting cocktail at first with melon and coconut water. After a few hours, in my case with a slightly more acidic pH, I feel it becomes more resinous and leans towards amber. It’s economical and smells fine to me; if you put on about three drops, people notice it on the street, but be careful with the quantity.
A resounding NO! I bought it blindfolded looking for something aquatic and fresh, but this smell is very unpleasant; I don’t know if it’s the melon, which I totally repel. Personally, there’s nothing positive about it; I didn’t even dare to apply it. I have it stored away hoping it will mature a bit so I can give it another chance. The moment I atomized it to smell it, nothing about it appealed to me. A few days ago I smelled the Orientica Azure Fantasy Turquoise and UFF, that one smells great, a bit masculine, and I’d use it a thousand times before this Mayar!
I bought this blindfolded, guided by the notes and reviews, and what a mistake! At first, upon application, I thought: ‘How delicious!’ The opening is super fresh and aquatic as expected. But then things got heavy until it gave me nausea. Still, I gave it another chance with less quantity, thinking I had overused it the first time. I applied it again and liked it at first, but after a few hours, that bitter smell (maybe from the water lily or fig) came back, which is the worst part: it lasts and projects like crazy; I couldn’t find a moment to take it off. In short, for me, it’s a resounding NO. I wouldn’t buy or gift it again, because I believe it’s a scent that won’t suit everyone.
