Spicy masculine perfume with sandalwood, coffee, and cardamom. Sweet due to praline and chocolate, but not feminine. Don’t expect a PureXS just because it’s sweet, nor Tous Emerald. Rosendo Mateu nº5 is more unisex than Musamam White Intense. It’s ambered, but not clean. Any sweet Western commercial men’s fragrance is surpassed by this. Lots of marketing on social media.
I received the perfume today, so my opinion isn’t solid yet, but it’s a unisex fragrance leaning heavily feminine. It has a lot in common with Gris Charnel, just a bit creamier and more feminine. You can also detect citrus and some spices like Angel’s Share at the beginning, but very soft (I don’t know Khamrah). It’s very similar to Francique, only Musamam is creamier and more noticeable. It’s a very beautiful perfume, very niche, nothing synthetic or semi-oriental. I don’t detect any resemblance to Versace Cristal Noir (I hate that one). If you already have Gris, this is redundant, but if you want a creamy sandalwood and something similar, Musamam is perfect.
A fragrance that leans more feminine. It’s for an elegant, determined, and confident woman. Ideal for meetings, formal events, or when you want to stand out. It’s fresh, sweet, and citrusy all at once; the sweetness is subtle but integrates well with the noticeable sandalwood and the citrus part. I liked it quite a bit. Its presentation is gorgeous: the box imitates snake skin, opens like a glasses case, the cap features an iconic golden snake, and on top, a white piece mimics the texture of the skin. It’s sublime.
Edit: A scent that captivates wherever I go. Everyone says how good it smells and describes it as a marvel. Very citrusy with a hydrating body effect: greasy, creamy, probably due to the sandalwood. Unisex but perhaps leans slightly feminine. Sillage and longevity are excellent for its price. Even though I can’t detect it anymore, people keep telling me how good I smell.
Very rich fragrance. I detect a strong resemblance to Light Blue Italian Love 2022 (feminine), though I find this one more refined. The citrus part is less sharp and feels very creamy from the start. There’s a note, likely from the ingredient combination, that’s peach and appears a few minutes after application. A pleasant, refined, and rich fragrance; for me, it’s unisex, though it tends toward feminine. You need to be comfortable with those citrus, vanilla, peach, and Ylang Ylang notes.
The citrus opening is short-lived and improves later, though it’s a bit odd. It gives me a metallic sensation. Then the coconut becomes very pleasant, creamy in style. In Uruguay, it’s not worth the price tag—between $198 and $149 USD at current exchange rates. But if you find it cheaper, share it without hesitation; it’s an easy, beautiful scent that suits everyone.
Intense, but to be honest, quite scary…
I love it. I bought it blind because so many people praise it while others hate it, but I took the plunge and have no regrets. The orange gives it a delicious touch, combined with coconut and sandalwood, making me feel like I’m watching a sunset on the beach. It’s fresh with a sweet twist, good for day or night, and I like wearing it out. To me, it’s not the typical citrus perfume.
I understand the connection to Gris Charnel, but no. The sandalwood and that creaminess make it feel feminine. It’s unisex, but it leans heavily feminine. It’s so rich I can’t stop smelling it, and I realized that when it dries down, it reminds me of Birds of Paradise by Carolina Herrera. At first, they’re worlds apart because Birds is green, while Musamam is white and floral, but then a mango and coconut note appears that’s almost identical. Gris is sharper and more citrusy, whereas Musamam is softer, warmer, and sweeter. Will a man wear it? Absolutely, if you like soft, complex scents and don’t mind smelling ‘feminine.’ It’s fresh and sophisticated, a beauty that breaks down gender divisions. The bottle is fucking beautiful; buy it if you’re looking for something like this.
I bought it blind with high hopes, but to my nose, it smells citrusy, woody, and very masculine. It could be unisex, but I see it more as a men’s fragrance. I gifted it to my husband and he absolutely loved it. Perfect for spring and summer, with an elegant scent.
I love it! While my favorite is Versace Crystal Noir, dark and seductive, Musamam White Intense is a more wearable, summery version. It has a citrus opening that transitions into a sweetened coconut with ylang-ylang and a creamy sandalwood base, along with delicious spices. I’m not an expert, but it’s a gem! It lasts all day, projects decently, and turns heads. My husband finds it exotic and seductive. The bottle and box are gorgeous, looking luxurious. For me, it’s a 10 out of 10.
So far, it’s my favorite Arabic perfume. On my skin, the coconut dominates, which is exactly what I was looking for; it’s the richest coconut scent I’ve ever felt. It lasts over 24 hours; I showered and it’s still there. The packaging is a 10. My best purchase to date.
Musamam White Intense is fresh and clean with an elegant floral touch. At first, it blends citrus and soft flowers, light and refreshing. Then it turns warm and smooth, with musk and a slight fruity sweetness (coconut) making it comfortable for daily wear. It’s perfect for those seeking something discreet but sophisticated, without being too intense.
I took a risk and I have no regrets. I bought it blind for the coconut and ylang-ylang, though they don’t stand out as much as in Maison Alhambra’s Montaigne Coco. At first, the bergamot is citrusy and vibrant, balanced by a sweet orange touch that offsets the freshness. The sandalwood is noticeable from the start and adds warmth. Drying down, it leaves a fresh, summery sweetness, ideal for sunny days. The mix of woods and that sweetness creates something elegant and unisex that fascinates me. Plus, it layers beautifully with Alien Goddess. Perfect for summer and daily wear, I’d buy it again. Recommended for anyone looking for something fresh, versatile, and elegant.
I like it. It opens citrusy, sweet, powdery, and warm from the spices. Then the ylang-ylang appears with mahonia, adding a fresh touch. Everything is wrapped in the sweetness and warmth of coconut, which isn’t very noticeable but gives it creaminess. Drying down, there’s a soft, creamy sandalwood that’s really nice. It’s for personal enjoyment, not powerful or long-lasting, but I reapply just to feel good. The fancy Arabic bottles aren’t my style, but it doesn’t matter. It has everything, albeit slightly: fresh, woody, sweet, warm, creamy. Perfect for daily wear, not for special events. Adaptable to any season except extreme cold. Very pretty and a great price.
It’s the spring version of Crystal Noir, more versatile. I don’t see any redundancy in having both; they complement each other perfectly.
I have a decant of this fragrance and what luck! Another clone of Gris Charnel, but with an overly heavy, sweaty musk. I’m sticking with Francique 66.55 from FW.
I bought it blind based on the notes, and it doesn’t smell like I expected, though it’s not bad. Right after spraying, I notice spices and a sweetness I can’t quite identify, all very blended. As it dries down, the spices fade and I like it more; a salty touch comes through that adds freshness. It starts unisex but dries into something more unisex-feminine, though it would work well on a man too. It lasts a long time on my skin, and the trail becomes intimate over the hours. I don’t detect coconut, which is a pity since I was hoping for a coconut-sandalwood vibe, but it’s pretty. Intense at first, it shines outdoors because the wind airies it up. For me, it doesn’t smell niche or justify the price, but it has an original scent. Could be a signature scent in temperate climates.
Musamam White Intense and Versace Crystal Noir Eau de Toilette compare a lot, but their compositions are worlds apart. Musamam opens with citrus, then moves to coconut and ylang-ylang for a creamy texture, finishing with warm, enveloping sandalwood and musk. Versace, on the other hand, is fresher and more vibrant with a spicy opening of pepper and ginger, light florals like gardenia and peony. Musamam is dense and persistent, perfect for cool days, while Versace feels airier. I love both and they’re in my collection.
The opening is citrusy, but it turns sweet as it dries. It can work as unisex, though on my skin it leans masculine. The coconut note is the most predominant when dry, so if you like it, it’s an excellent option. It has good sillage and longevity. Personally, I didn’t connect with it, but I recognize its quality and its appeal for those seeking a sweet fragrance with tropical touches.
I rarely agree with reviews, but this one is spot on. The perfume is odd; maybe I’d wear it in summer, but that unlisted salty note really doesn’t work for me. It’s strange and a bit off-putting.
I was going to buy it blindly because of the notes I like, but I tested it first and was surprised. It wasn’t what I expected: I didn’t want a sweet, creamy sandalwood and coconut, but prominent spices and a coconut that tastes more like coconut water than cream. It’s well-spiced, elegant, full-bodied, and lasts a long time. It overwhelmed me, I washed my wrist, and it wouldn’t go away; it lingered on clothes for days with just one spray. Incredible longevity, but unfortunately not to my liking. I felt it was very masculine. Maybe with vanilla or something sweeter… I wouldn’t buy it blindly. Try it on your skin.
Not for me; it feels very masculine and smells of spices. I don’t sense the coconut or citrus. It’s good in longevity—I kept washing my forearm over and over, and it’s hard to get rid of the scent. I don’t recommend buying it blindly; it’s a peculiar fragrance. The bottle and packaging are spectacular.
Sandalwood, coconut, and spices, in that order. I love it. It’s very different from what I usually love, but I adore it. I don’t detect anything citrusy. Don’t buy it blindly. It’s a woody sandalwood with coconut that many might hate or love. I have a teenage son who also enjoys it. Totally unisex.
I feel it’s elegant and very unisex. I imagined it differently when I bought it blindly: I expected creamy, tropical, and clean coconut, but it leans more toward citrus, woody, and I understand why many might find it masculine. I’ve liked it quite a bit even though it wasn’t what I expected. It’s super elegant and I wear it out at night when I’m dressed up. Ideal for all seasons, day and night; I find it versatile.
I loved it at first spray. It’s fruity, spicy, and has a sweet touch, feeling unisex-feminine. On blotting paper it stays sweet, but on my skin it’s super masculine. I thought I’d like it, but it’s too spicy and smells like men’s deodorant. I feel it’s dirty and I could never wear it comfortably. Not my style.
It’s very different from what I usually wear. I wanted to try something like Gris Charnel with a twist, and this is it. What I notice most are the spices and sandalwood; the coconut is in the background, very elegant. It’s not very sweet. I see it as totally unisex, probably smelling different depending on who wears it. I wouldn’t use it in the heat; the spices remind me of cold weather. It reminds me a bit of Maison Margiela’s ‘Autumn Vibes.’ I’ve worn it for hours and I like it even more.
I’ve been wearing it for months and really like it. It reminds me of Versace’s Nour Cristal. It’s strong, perfect for autumn and winter nights. If you have a good nose, you’ll detect orange paired with spices. There’s a subtle, light, and elegant coconut, but the spices and sandalwood bring maturity and make it imposing. You won’t go unnoticed. It smells expensive, so apply it moderately because it’s strong but delicious. It’s elegant, mature, and sexy when dry, with a powdery feel. I recommend it for women 30 and up who are super glamorous.
It’s gorgeous and the one I’ve used the most from my collection of over 100 perfumes. When I ran out of half a bottle, I didn’t hesitate to buy another because it’s a true all-rounder, versatile, and smells high-end. I love it in any season.
If you love sandalwood, this is your perfume. I’m obsessed and already bought a second bottle. Sandalwood is the star, with a sparkling, sweet citrus opening. I don’t detect coconut, but it adds creaminess to the wood, while spices and florals linger in the background. It feels elegant, comforting, and introspective. It’s not tropical, but it has a summery vibe. It’s not casual and might polarize. Although it’s pricier than other Lattafa scents, the performance isn’t extraordinary.
I never got to try it; I fell for the reviewers’ hype and now I regret buying it without knowing this. Note: this perfume is 70% woody + spices and 30% coconut. If you don’t like wood as the star note, you won’t like this. If you do love woody scents, it’s an elegant fragrance that lasts all day. Works much better in winter.
Roasted coconut and sandalwood… an absolute beauty. Very mature and elegant.
This perfume is gorgeous. It’s a citrusy, woody coconut scent that I absolutely love, and it lasts forever.
This perfume pleasantly surprised me. Incredible quality. These are the kind of scents you need to wear with confidence because they command attention. Well-balanced, but on my skin, what really shines through is the sandalwood, coconut, and spices.
Opens slightly sweet and citrusy, then evolves into a spiced wood note. Personally, I don’t really detect the coconut; it feels a bit weak. I asked three friends throughout the day if they could smell my cologne, and none of them could. I applied two sprays (sides of neck, nape, wrists, and a bit on clothes), but by the end, I noticed a fairly artificial finish in the base. The scent isn’t bad, but it’s not for me.
I’m in love with this fragrance. My first Lattafa, and I adore it. Leaves a trail and lasts days on clothes. It’s a 10/10; I’d buy it again without hesitation. I never get tired of it.
Woody opening with spicy nuances. The coconut comes through more towards the end. Lasts a decent amount of time—I wouldn’t call it beast mode, but it definitely sticks around. Personally, some perfumes fade on me quickly, but not this one. You need to like wood to enjoy this. Great value for the price. I recommend it; worth trying.
At first, I didn’t like it, but after letting it settle and smelling it again, I fell in love. It’s intense and super long-lasting. Leaves an incredible trail. The scent is special, highlighting sandalwood, coconut, and spices. Lasts for days on clothes.
I’d heard whispers about this one here and there. One day downtown, I spotted a shop selling 30ml tubes—Chinese, I assume—but I got a good whiff. Totally blown away; it’s not 100% identical to the original, but it gave me a vibe, and honestly, it smelled delicious. I’m not a fan of sweet perfumes, but I love anything with coconut. It’s reminiscent of Le Beau, but with a totally different twist on the coconut that really caught my attention. Now I’m waiting for the original; let’s hope it lives up to this.
Opens with a citrusy touch, then sandalwood kicks in with full force, leaving a creamy dry down. Perfect for fresh days. Potent and lasts exactly 8 hours. If you like woody scents, you’ll love this.
