It smells amazing at first, floral and gourmand, but then it turns heavy. There’s something off-putting about it, like heavily roasted vanilla surrounded by intense jasmine. You need a lot of personality and self-love to wear this.
Smells like white florals with a sweet cocoa or vanilla touch; I don’t detect any peach. The scent is very similar to Good Girl by Carolina Herrera—it’s intense, long-lasting, and better suited for night or cold weather.
Avon Máxima: a white floral, sweet, fruity, and gourmand perfume. It has a strong opening with a fruity combination of nectarine and delicate white flowers. As it dries down, it feels like vanilla, ideal for cold climates. I feel it’s more elegant for evenings and nights, suitable for people 20 and up. Longevity is 2 to 4 hours. It’s a distinct perfume; by its scent, it looks like a designer fragrance. Well done, Avon!
Avon’s flagship: white floral, sweet, and fruity. It projects strongly with peach and white florals, then dries down to vanilla. Perfect for cold weather, elegant for evenings, and best for ages 20 and up. Lasts 2 to 4 hours, smells designer-quality, and Avon really nailed the formula.
A beautiful perfume for spring afternoons, fall days, or cool summers. My skin doesn’t usually develop much intensity, so with a few sprays, it feels normal to me, with moderate projection and longevity. At night, I’m used to stronger fragrances… Its dry-down reminds me a lot of Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, only that Máxima is fresher and flatter in the notes. Since it doesn’t vary much, personally, I also prefer it.
The concept behind Máxima is inspired by plants of immortality from Greek mythology, highlighting myrtle or Helichrysum, the flower of the sun. It’s a fruity-floral gourmand with yellow notes. I’m not usually a sweet person, but the Helichrysum notes made me buy it because it makes me feel like the sun on a cold day. To accentuate the honey and tobacco notes of the flower, I use doTerra Helichrysum essential oil, and it turns out delicious.
They gifted it to me and I didn’t expect much, but what a surprise. It smells like a good expensive perfume, with a dry-down of jasmine powder and nectarines. Immortelle is a flower I don’t know, but it seems very pleasant. If it only has these three notes, that’s great. I’ve really liked it; it’s good, beautiful, and cheap while smelling expensive. We’ll see how it performs on my skin, its dry-down, and durability. If it holds up, I’ll buy a few more bottles. Avon hits or misses; sometimes 10, sometimes 0, no in-between.
The concept of Máxima, as well as its masculine version, is inspired by Greek cosmology regarding plants of immortality. In the feminine version, immortelle stands out, the flower of the sun in Greco-Roman fields. It’s a yellow fruity-floral gourmand. I’m not a fan of such sweet fragrances; it slightly reminds me of Olympea, but the immortelle or helichryse notes, the golden sun, inspired me to buy it because it makes me feel like I’m wearing the sun on cold days. To accentuate that powerful and healing note, I use doTerra helichryse essential oil, and it enhances it deliciously.
Smells delicious and very much like Good Girl by Carolina Herrera; it’s gorgeous, I love it.
Very pleasant. I hesitated to buy it because I don’t usually like myrtle, but to my surprise, it’s not very noticeable. Smells great, nothing original but well done. It’s quite similar to Good Girl by Carolina Herrera; it’s not a clone but follows the same vibe. I prefer Máxima because Good Girl gives me a headache. Medium longevity, but for the price, it’s excellent. Recommended if you like warm, sweet scents. The packaging is very elegant.
Smells delicious and is very similar to Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl; I love it.
A very pleasant fragrance. I had doubts because immortelle isn’t my favorite flower, but surprise, it doesn’t feel too much; it smells great. Nothing original or world-changing, but it smells good. The resemblance to Good Girl by CH is quite strong; they aren’t identical clones, but they follow the same line. In fact, I like Máxima more because Good Girl gives me a headache. Its longevity and projection are average, but for the price, it’s excellent. I recommend it if you like warm and slightly sweet scents. I’m satisfied with the purchase, and the packaging is very beautiful and elegant.
I liked it. I thought it would be too cloying with its sweet fruit and my citrus preferences, but it surprised me. It’s the first sweet fragrance I’ve seen myself wearing daily. Wearable if you like fruity and sweet scents. It’s not overly formal or teen-like; it’s all-terrain for spring, fall, and winter during the day, as it lacks the sensuality and power needed for night. Moderate longevity; almost all Avon perfumes last about 4-5 hours for me.
I liked it. I thought that with such a sweet fruit note and me preferring citrus scents, it would be cloying, but it surprised me. It’s the first sweet fragrance I’ve seen myself wearing daily. It’s very wearable if you like fruity and sweet scents. It’s not overly formal or teenage; it’s all-terrain for spring, fall, and winter during the day, without too much sensuality or potency for night. Longevity is moderate, like almost all Avon perfumes that last about 4-5 hours.
Definitely reminds me of Good Girl; a great option if you don’t want to spend a fortune on Carolina Herrera. On my skin, the longevity is moderate, but very fair considering the price.
I bought it for the bottle and the immortelle note. At first, it smells floral, but then it fades on my skin, becoming muted and almost imperceptible. I feel more like an eau de toilette, maybe because of my skin. I loved the creative concept, the ancient inspiration, and the amphora shape with the laurel cap.
Today I tried Good Girl by Carolina Herrera; a friend has it and wow, I found it too similar to Máxima from Avon that my mom has. The scents are alike, but the trail and longevity are in a different league. It’s the budget-friendly alternative to Good Girl without breaking the bank.
