The blend of notes gives off a very peculiar scent; to me, it smells like tutti frutti bubblegum, that pink with white powder on top. I suppose it’s the strawberry with orange blossom, amber, and resins. I like it a lot, though it can be challenging and an acquired taste. At first, it explodes with sweet/bubblegum, then evolves into strawberry, vanilla, and powdery notes. I’ve received varied comments, from compliments to ‘you smell like car deodorant’ xD. They say it’s the same as Montale’s Mukhallat, but I haven’t tried it. Being an oil, a little goes a long way for infinite sillage, and the longevity is huge on my skin.
I forgot to review this. I agree with my friend Cnidaria (who gifted me the sample). It has two sides: positive and negative. The good is that it smells like tutti frutti bubblegum, but the bad is that it smells a lot like car air fresheners, and it’s annoying to carry around. It’s intense, dense, and sweet, almost cloying. I wouldn’t wear it; by my standards, it feels more feminine than masculine. Thanks again, Cnidaria.
Smelling it in the bottle, it smells like wood, amber, and fruit, but on my skin, the unnatural strawberry dominates, like Babelgum or plastic strawberry.
Just opened the bottle I bought blind online. What stands out most is the strawberry: it’s not natural, but it doesn’t smell like air freshener either. I agree it smells like bubblegum. It could use a bit more longevity and sillage, which is almost non-existent right up close from the start. It’s super subtle, ideal for any occasion. I’d recommend it for under €5, though I’ll use it sparingly because it gives the impression of not wearing perfume, so I won’t be repurchasing; I prefer to keep trying other scents. Rating: Scent 8, Longevity 6, Sillage 5, Versatility 8, Value 9, Overall 6.
It totally blows my mind; I have several backups. Basically strawberry with resins and a powdery oriental touch—it’s weird and synthetic, but I love that loud, original edge. It doesn’t project much as an oil, but it lasts hours right on the skin; I can smell it all day as I move around. If you’re looking for something different and you like the fake stuff, this is a must.
