I bought a sample on paper and filled the room with scent for 4 days. If you want to smell clean and soapy, buy it; it lasts forever and smells rich, but it’s not for everyone. If you have the option to try it, do it, because not everyone likes smelling like soap. I didn’t try the Imagination, but I did own a similar one, and it’s true that not everyone likes the soapy scent.
A beast, a monster for the heat. Scent: It’s well citrusy, fresh, and there’s a note that feels like Te Verde, a little soapy but balanced (unlike Kaiak Urbe, which smells like chemical soap). In short, you want to apply it constantly. Longevity: Huge, it’s an Extrait de Parfum, lasts a minimum of 8 hours and even longer on clothes. Projection: Huge, lots of compliments. Someone who wears perfumes wants people to say ‘that smells rich, I can smell your perfume,’ and this has happened to me quite a bit. 100/10 Total blind buy, exquisite, and the scent is the most pleasant for the heat.
Smells great for the first hour, then there’s something that pushes me back a bit. I identify that ‘cleaning’ scent, but not personal hygiene, rather household cleaning products. It’s not bad per se, that scent is always welcome, but should it be worn as a fragrance? I have doubts, probably wouldn’t choose it. Note, if someone wears it, they won’t scare anyone away, it’s a harmless scent. Excellent longevity.
This perfume gives me mixed feelings. I like the soapy dry-down and it doesn’t evolve much beyond that. The main issue is its very synthetic citrus opening; to me, it reminds me more of a cleaning product or Raid than Quicksilver. It’s not entirely unpleasant because later a very marked (synthetic) citrus appears, lasting about 20 minutes, before giving way to the soapy scent. Another ‘issue’ is that it causes olfactory fatigue; after a while it seems like it’s gone, but just while I was writing this review, on the second day I wore it, a colleague asked if I had a new perfume and loved the scent. I don’t recommend buying it blind, but it seems women absolutely adore it. Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 Projection: 10/10 Olfactory Fatigue: 20/10 I haven’t heard the Imagination, but regardless of whether it’s similar or not, it’s a great perfume. If you don’t pay more than $60 for the 100ml version, it’s a good buy.
Beautiful daddy, a trail and a savage potency. What does it smell like? When dry, it basically smells like high-quality soap, clean, neat, the hygiene of a man who likes to smell good. Those who say they don’t like it probably don’t even shower and are afraid of soap.
Rich perfume, very citrusy and herbal, smells clean like you just showered with herbal soap and shampoo and stepped out of the shower. Very fresh and citrusy, you can definitely detect melon and pineapple. Ideal for summer and heat, nothing cloying or sweet. Not recommended for cold climates. Perfect for anything you do in the heat. Very clean scent. My girlfriend loves it and I think it suits any age.
Exquisite, the definition of ‘smells clean’, totally recommended for daily use. Excellent price and performance. One of my favorites.
Incredible, smells fresh and is perfect for everyday wear. Lasts forever and smells amazing.
This is an absolute beast. For $60, you can’t find anything like this. It’s the kind of scent that makes girls fall for you and makes people want to stick close to you. Buy it blind, it never fails. Projects more than it lasts; it’s a potent extract and you can’t ask for more. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 7/10 Value: 10/10
Does it smell like soap? YES. For me, it’s 100% soapy all the time and also very linear, but that soapy smell is very rich and elegant. I really liked it, especially because I look for perfumes that project strongly and last a long time because my skin doesn’t help much, so this perfume was perfect for me. It has excellent performance. It lasted on my skin at least 8 hours and projected strongly for the first two. I recommend it for daytime and hot climates. What does it project? Elegance and freshness. I recommend it more for casual and semi-formal occasions but not for strict formal events. My rating: Scent: 8/10. Longevity: 9/10. Projection: 8.5/10.
I know most reviews are for men, but here’s the exception in case any woman is motivated to buy it. Although all fragrances claiming inspiration say they’re masculine and the opening smells too much like this discontinued Estivalia line, after a few minutes on my dry skin it smells like classic white bar soap, a clean scent, but on fabric it dries down totally different; I sense a green aroma, I don’t know what it is, it’s like walking in a garden and stepping on a plant, and its scent comes out. Regarding longevity, I’m still testing it, hoping it lasts long since I loved the smell. Detail: works better at night than during the day.
A sparkling citrus, it reaches its full potential with heat. Smells very clean and fresh. Longevity is excellent; I’ve tested it up to 37°C and it works spectacularly. Even with strong wind, the fragrance doesn’t lose projection. I don’t apply more than 5 sprays because otherwise, it becomes annoying. Recommended for daily wear, to smell clean and fresh. It performs best in summer-spring. The aromatic quality is very good; it doesn’t feel like typical Arabic perfumes. 100% recommended, it’s brought me plenty of compliments.
If you ever want to smell like Fab on your laundry, use this.
From the first time I tried it, this fragrance completely won me over. So much so that I’m currently on my second bottle… and it’s nearing the end again. In my search for alternatives with a similar DNA, I decided to buy a decant of Hawas Kobra. I must admit that, in the opening, Kobra surprised me positively and even seemed superior in that first impact; however, with real wear, it didn’t offer me even half the performance or sensations that this Al Haramain proposal gives me. At least today, as I’m using it again, it’s been close to 12 hours on my skin and I still clearly sense it with me. And that, in this type of fragrance, weighs a lot.
Generally liked by everyone. More green than blue, good longevity for the perfume style it is, great price-to-quality ratio. Excellent summer option. Not as fresh as I thought; in extreme heat, maybe it’s not quite as light.
Bought it this week and was hooked instantly. No need to macerate to enjoy it; I’ll update my review in two months after letting it settle. Scent: Starts green, sweet, and citrusy, like a garden with sweet leaves. After 10-15 minutes, the herbs fade, leaving the citrus and a clean, refreshing note. On skin, it smells like freshly exfoliated and bathed body. Some say it smells like soap, others like white Dove bar, but to me, the heart reminds me of a man fresh out of the shower. For me, it’s a comforting complement, not meant to grab attention, though on others it smells incredibly pleasant and attention-grabbing. Makes a great impression. Vibe: Casual, chill, and neat. Longevity: 5-6 hours on skin and up to 12 on clothes with 5 sprays (3 on neck, 2 on wrists). Hoping it improves with time, it’s an extrait de parfum. Projection: Light, not heavy, projects well and leaves a trail; your scent lingers for the first 2 hours. Compliments: Women like clean, well-groomed men, and what’s cleaner than freshly bathed? Gets lots of praise. Occasions: Super versatile, never looks bad smelling clean; I like wearing it with relaxed clothes. Temperature: Works for any weather, but don’t overdo it in the heat due to the initial sweetness and soapy dry-down, which can tickle my throat if I spray too much. Updating on March 3rd.
Worth mentioning that I’m a teenager and this was my first Arabic perfume, plus I got it at a good price. About this fragrance, honestly, I thought it smelled rich mostly due to those green and tea notes. As for longevity, I noticed about 8 hours with 3 of them projecting well. I recommend trying it since it might not be your ideal daily scent due to associations with high-quality cleaning products, although I received good compliments from classmates. This perfume is great for heat over 27 degrees in places like school/work or for getting out of a bind. I recommend macerating for 2 months as the scent improves a lot. Scent: 8/10. Longevity: 8/10. Trail: 7/10. Compliments: 7/10.
Smells rich, like you just stepped out of the shower.
I’m realizing I’m adding Arabic perfumes to my collection and bought this yesterday. The atomizer is brutal, literally insecticide-style, haha. The scent is fresh and clean, making you feel neat, freshly bathed, freshly ironed shirt, all the good stuff of a citrus. Longevity 10/10: lasted on my clothes for a day and hours more. On skin, it lasts quite a bit, around 8-10 hours. The trail is beast mode for about two and a half hours, maybe more depending on sprays. Again, thanks Arabic perfumery for everything.
At first spray, it doesn’t resemble Louis Vuitton Imagination at all; they go down different paths. In the dry-down, they do share the clean concept, but here the result is unfortunate: it smells like standard bar soap, very potent and not pleasant. It doesn’t convey elegant freshness or refined cleanliness, but rather the sensation of having soaped up your whole body without rinsing off. It’s a flat scent, graceless, and not recommended.
Scent 9/10: A citrus opening that dries down to literally rich, sweet, and fresh soap. I recommend it for daily wear, but apply it 1 hour before going out because the opening is intense and some don’t like it; over time it dries down to a delicious and addictive scent for you and others. Projection 10/10: Giving it a 10/10; whenever I wear it, everyone asks how much perfume I put on. It’s a beast, even using a little leaves a strong scent, so don’t overdo it in enclosed spaces or do it 30-40 minutes in advance. It’s delicious when dry, but the opening is an intense citrus that reaches everyone. Longevity 10/10: Also a 10/10. Lasts 6-7h on skin in intense heat, impressive for this style which usually lasts 5h faintly. In normal weather, it lasts over 7h on skin and stays on clothes for days, so the rating is justified. Price 6/10: I don’t consider it good value in my country; here it costs around $110, crazy for an Arabic dupe. I have the means to pay for it and it offers a lot, but I still think it’s pricey. If you’re on a tight budget, I wouldn’t recommend it; at that price, you could buy three Arabic scents for other occasions and not always use the same one. If you live in the USA, buy from JomaShop for $50-60 and it would be a 10/10. If you live in LATAM or another pricier country, I’d think twice. Final verdict: 8.75/10 (9.5/10 if not for the price). Price 6/10 (10/10 if you’re in the USA). Scent 9/10. Longevity 10/10. Projection 10/10.
They criticize it for smelling clean, but it’s literally the definition of the perfect everyday perfume. It doesn’t project wildly beyond the first few hours; I had my wife wear it, and it fits her perfectly. It’s great, elegant, and youthful, with personality but introverted without trying to draw attention. Those who criticize it lack a pharmacy and some pills. For me, it’s essential this summer and a must-have in any collection.
Clean and fresh scent but with poor longevity and projection. It’s a sweet scent but not invasive, a fresh sweetness. If it weren’t for a sale, I wouldn’t recommend buying it.
I’m writing this review to describe the perfume, not because of its similarity to Imagination since I haven’t smelled it. Scent: I tested a new bottle and a macerated one. The new one smelled like masterful detergent, lemon, soap, and floral; it’s not bad, just rare, it smells clean. The macerated version lost the citrus notes and leaned more into the soapy and floral, which makes sense. Longevity: beast, as they say, it lasted 12 hours on my wrist and maybe more, projected well for the first hour, then faded a bit. 8/10: clean scent, nothing more, with great performance.
I’m not into Arab scents or clones, but this beast has captivated me. I already used Imagination and got rid of it. Looking for something similar, I tried this Aqua Dubai and was surprised by how close it is to LV: the sensations I liked are here. What hit me the most was its persistence and the trail it leaves in the room. It’s more potent than Imagination. Its soapy profile is more accentuated and diffusive. It’s true that it feels more ‘vast’ and less refined, but it has something distinct and addictive. I value the scent over performance: if the smell doesn’t convince me, it doesn’t matter how long it lasts. The citrus isn’t as refined as in the original, but for €43 for 100ml, the quality-to-price ratio is 10. Honestly, I don’t miss Imagination with this. I never thought I’d say that about an ‘Arab clone’.
Clean and soapy scent. Who doesn’t like smelling clean? I love it. I own Hawas Kobra, but I prefer this because it’s super soapy and smells amazing. Kobra is more herbal/citrusy. This perfume doesn’t smell like a perfume; it’s easy to wear, inoffensive, and long-lasting. I use it all year round, especially in the heat. It’s one of my favorites among my 50 fragrances.
Update: It doesn’t last at all. I have to spray a ton just to smell it for an hour. I don’t recommend it and wouldn’t buy it again.
An incredible mix of sweet citrus and cut grass that smells like powder soap. I’m not sure if I like it as a men’s perfume, but it’s an addictive aroma.
All the haters say the same thing, but this is real: it smells like baby cologne with a burning alcohol. I tried it once, and that was my experience.
It’s a hypnotic powder soap scent. If you’re looking to smell like a clean, freshly showered man, this is perfect. It projects the image of a neat, well-groomed gentleman. It’s tidiness bottled as fragrance. It gives me that post-shower calm and freshness.
The first time I tried it was on my skin, and after 30 minutes, it smelled like pure soap. I discarded it then. Today I tried wearing it only on clothes, and the scent has me enchanted; super fresh, clean, with a great trail. It revived as an option to consider for summer.
Many ladies adore it, but personally, it was a bit complex. I tried giving it a chance, but honestly, I couldn’t. The scent is not at all to my liking; I didn’t smell any citrus, just very soapy, something like baby powder, nice for those who like that DNA.
Smells good, reminds me of soap but very lightly. I like it more than the ‘Essence de Blanc’ (another Imagination dupe that smelled like eggs to me); I like this one quite a bit, though I see it as unisex rather than men’s. It’s good if you’re looking for something fresh, go for this, it’s cheaper than Full House.
At first spray, it smelled a lot like sea foam soap (powdered soap), but as it dried down, the green notes stood out more; it reminds me quite a bit of a tree leaf scent. Personally, if you’re thinking of buying it because it’s a dupe or similar to Imagination, don’t buy it. But if you want a perfume just to smell good after a shower or as a different daily scent, I do recommend it.
Honestly, I don’t know Imagination, but this is amazing. It delivers everything a fresh fragrance should, and something rarely found: it’s long-lasting, projects a lot, and has a unique scent. To put it simply, the smell is perfect for the beach; it’s fresh, a bit of soap in a good way, but also very citrusy. It’s for intense heat; I feel it’s not ideal for mild weather or cloudy days; it needs to be a sunny day. I don’t think it’s for everyday use because it can be invasive in a good way, but it’s perfect for sunny days, to ‘stand out’ from time to time. A safe purchase, good price, and great quality.
I got 2 sprays on me a few months ago and it smelled like a dishwasher or Quix lemon to us Chileans, and I didn’t like it at all. I tried again yesterday with the same 2 sprays and wow, I fell in love with the fragrance (I should mention I’m leaning towards cleaner scents). It’s exquisite because it brought me vibes similar to my Hawas Kobra, but this one is softer, subtler, and kinder. It lasted a long time on my skin; I’d smell my arm every 10 minutes just to feel the aroma. It’s a 10/10 if you want to smell clean and fresh. The age range might be 20+ since it reflects cleanliness and neatness. I really liked that it has a pressurized atomizer, which is a plus; with 4 or 5 sprays, you’re ready to go anywhere. If I had to choose between this and Hawas, I’d pick this for its subtlety and because it’s not as loud. 100% recommended, though you have to test how it works on your skin since some might not like this type of scent.
Personally, I think it’s a very versatile perfume, the best Imagination dupe by far, I recommend it 100%.
Excellent perfume, lasts all day for daily use, it’s a bomb.
Smells clean, like generic soap. Neither sweet nor citrusy, it’s practically a ‘fresh’ scent. No idea if it’s the same as the LV one, but honestly, it’s not a perfume I’d wear.
I laugh at the divided reviews for this Aqua. Almost everyone agrees its longevity and sillage are INSANE for what it is. As for the scent… that’s a different story. Hardcore fans or total haters, it seems to leave no one indifferent. It’s not a fragrance ‘as usual’, but personally, I’ve been hooked. Not immediately, but there was something that made me keep coming back. Now I’m planning to get a refill. I use it for work, keeping the dose in check, though. Regarding its similarity to the original, it’s there. Not identical, but for anyone looking for the best performance-to-price combo, there’s no doubt. It doesn’t generate compliments, isn’t seductive, nor mysterious. Recommended? Absolutely.
