It’s a good dupe, though if the original Erba Pura was already synthetic, this is even more so. It’s not as fruity; here, the melon dominates, which I don’t like. Still, it’s well-executed and shares the Erba Pura DNA; without knowing, you might think they’re the same. Lasted between 6 and 8 hours with good projection. If I was already doubting the original, this convinced me less. It’s not my taste, but if you like it, it’s a good option. The quality matches the price and does the job. I give it a 7.5/10.
Please, let men stop buying this; it’s one of the most overhyped lately. Sure, it’s super potent in trail and longevity, but it’s very synthetic with floral notes that make it more suitable for a female audience. If you want to smell like an average nerd, buy this.
At first, it seems like Erba Pura, then ripe fruits like melon and coconut come out, all wrapped in a heavy, creamy vanilla. It’s very sweet, so better for cold days. Ideal for androgynous youth; it’s a passable and very repeated scent.
Reminds me of Erba Pura but sweeter and fruitier, with a feminine touch. It’s pleasant, easy to wear, and lasts long enough for daily use. It feels synthetic and very common; once, I was mistaken for Bharara King or its Gold Edition at a gas station. Still, it’s versatile for any season or occasion.
It’s a juicy melon with pineapple and vanilla; I love it. Despite macerating it for 2 months and wearing it 4 times, the projection is weak; after an hour, it stays on the skin, but it lasts more than a day even though it’s almost invisible.
One of my favorites; it smells almost like the El Dorado casino air freshener.
If your collection has gaps, fill them with this: from start to finish, it’s a delight. Fruits like melon and pineapple embrace musk, vanilla, and amber; it’s super accessible, sweet, and projects a ton. Lasts over 8 hours on clothes without moving. If you like sweet scents, this is a must-have. A luxurious fruity aroma, totally unisex.
Haven’t tried the original Erba Pura, but this smells amazing. The melon and vanilla combo is delicious and very well executed.
Smells identical to Erba Pura, period.
Definitely one of the best in my opinion. I hate citrus, so I’ll keep this 200ml bottle for a long time. Performance and quality are top-notch. I see it as unisex with a feminine touch; if you’re young, it’s perfect for you, otherwise, not so much. They say it’s not for daytime, but it’s fresh and sweet without being cloying, very versatile. 9.5/10. Edit: After a month, it gets cloying on clothes, but the sweet-fruity scent persists. I can’t wear it on clothes all day; it gives me a nasty headache. I’ll use it only on skin. Edit 2 IMPORTANT: IT GIVES ME A HEADACHE EVEN ON SKIN 😢. It’s exquisite, but the sweetness is too strong; one spray on each arm hurts terribly 😔. I shouldn’t have bought the 200ml bottle xd
What can I say about this perfume? My boyfriend wore it on our first date and he won me over; it was love at first sniff. Now, a bit tired of smelling it everywhere (even at the field and the gym, please, put on your big boy pants). It’s a perfume that quickly invades any open or closed space with its trail; you can smell it from several meters away. Excellent dupe of Erba Pura.
I don’t know Erba Pura, but I don’t even need to. This perfume is SWEET, unisex, and not cloying (unless you go crazy with the sprays); it feels like someone is opening a cocktail of varied tropical fruits right in front of you. I’ve worn it in cool weather (12-15 degrees) and extreme heat in 🇩🇰 at 33 degrees. It never fails to seem a bit feminine, but a good presence and outfit fix that. I still have it, and it’s perfect for dates, parties, and outings; it’s not cloying in the morning or at night. That’s why it’s versatile—a gem in packaging that I honestly was about to throw away; if you keep the boxes, you run out of space. Blind buy 100% recommended IF you like sweet perfumes.
It’s mass-produced, yet it still gets compliments. It’s quite versatile and unisex, probably why both men and women like it equally. I didn’t have much faith in it, but now I understand the hype. I’m not sure if it suits men over 45, but now that the price has dropped, at least in my country, it’s a safe purchase. 7.9/10.
I own this perfume and recently tried Erba Pura; they’re quite similar, I’d say 90%. The big difference is that in Erba Pura the fruity note is more refreshing, clean, and polished, whereas in the Gold it exists and is good, but feels a bit more opaque or dusty. When dried, they’re practically the same, but with both on skin, you notice the slight difference: Amber Oud is very slightly more dusty. For me, it’s not worth buying Erba Pura if you already have Amber Oud Gold, even though Erba Pura’s quality is noticeable from the first spray, it doesn’t make much of a difference, and you can easily tell you’re wearing Erba Pura with AOG. Yes, let the Gold macerate to bring out its potential, but that slight alcohol kick never fully disappears.
They sell it as unisex, but for me, it’s totally feminine—I wouldn’t wear it to go out. It’s not bad; in fact, the fruity scent is rich, but I insist, it’s very feminine.
I’m left with mixed feelings; at first, it smells fruity, creamy, and sweet, but as it dries down, it gets weird and didn’t convince me. The longevity isn’t as good as they claim either, lasting about 6 hours with only 1 or 2 hours of good projection. They say newer batches are weaker in that regard.
I absolutely love this fragrance! Hope I don’t get crucified, lol. I like layering it with Bharara King just to make that sweet scent linger and last all day, hoping I don’t annoy anyone at work. Like in my review for BK, I’ll say again here that Amber Oud Gold Edition has better longevity and projection than BK. I don’t know why, but that’s how I perceive it. Maybe I get olfactory fatigue with BK because I can’t smell it after 3 hours, but my dad and brother, who also wear it, say it projects and lasts like a beast. Does anyone else experience this?
The Amber Oud Gold Edition by Al Haramain Perfumes is a fragrance that, from my perspective, stands out for its elegance, balanced sweetness, and clearly luxurious character. It’s a very pleasant perfume from the very first moment, with a soft and enveloping opening that combines sweet and amber notes with a warm, refined base, easy to enjoy even for those who don’t usually wear intense perfumes. Throughout its evolution, I perceive a creamy and well-rounded aroma where the sweetness is perfectly controlled and accompanied by woody nuances that add depth and sophistication. It’s a fragrance that conveys cleanliness, quality, and a modern vibe, very versatile and suitable for a wide audience. One of its great strengths is its excellent longevity, along with a notable but elegant trail that is present without being invasive. Personally, I consider it an ideal option for both day and night, especially in temperate or cold climates, and very suitable for anyone looking for a striking, refined perfume with an outstanding quality-to-price ratio within the Arab perfume world.
I like it, but it doesn’t wow me, and I’m not sure if I’d buy it again. It smells very strongly of musk, like fruity shampoo and too soapy; if they could remove that soapy touch, it would be better. If you’re looking for a clean scent, this is your perfume. It lasts a decent amount of time, and a guy even asked me what I was wearing. However, a woman at work said it smelled good but too much like alcohol (that soapy note), though she still liked it and asked what it was.
I’m not sure if it’s just me or others, but my batch (I’ve had it for 1 year and 4 months) has zero projection; it’s barely noticeable. Even when I apply it properly over a decant, it lasts only a moment before turning into a bubble. I have to rub it on my hand just to smell it—it’s nothing like Erba Pura’s performance. It smells similar, but not quite the same, and the longevity is in a completely different league.
Erba Pura dupe, leaning more feminine. It’s a perfume that changes a lot depending on your skin’s pH. On some men, it smells more masculine, while on others, it’s more feminine. It has a projection of about an hour and a half, with a longevity of 8-10 hours; it holds up and stays on any woman’s clothes. I wish it were more masculine, which is why I gave it this score; it reminds me of Angel by Brito. 9/10.
There’s a lot of batch variability; some last a short while, but in my case, two sprays smell sugary and cling to clothes for days. At first, I loved it, now I hate it—it smells cloying and is unisex with a feminine lean. What I do notice is that women love it when a man wears it.
It’s a sweet but fresh perfume; you can definitely smell the melon, pineapple, green notes, and woods (in my opinion, the woods give it a sexy touch). It’s quite spring-like, definitely unisex; I think it’s more feminine, but it would look great on a man too. Honestly, I like it; it’s very nice. It doesn’t hit me over the head, but the longevity isn’t very good.
Spectacular! Simply a great fragrance; you’ll be getting compliments all day.
I had the chance to try the perfume, and it’s very sweet for my taste, so it didn’t convince me. That said, it has a strong trail and good longevity, but I feel it’s a feminine unisex scent; I definitely wouldn’t wear it.
Gift decant, I had no idea what it was until I saw it in the package. I usually know a perfume’s vibe because when I get hooked, I check the pyramid of any fragrance that catches my eye. With this one, I didn’t know what to expect, so I put it on my wrist out of curiosity. My face didn’t scrunch up at the opening like it does with Middle Eastern scents, so that’s a good sign. However, it reminded me of an air freshener: Glade, Poett, or those old Natura body splashes. That cheap smell from something in a deodorant can. I shook my head and put the bottle aside without thinking much; it’s not the first time this has happened with an Arab brand. Later, about an hour in, I smelled a lovely fragrance floating in the air. Confused, I checked my wrist and got the same result: Fresh, Rexona, a touch of vanilla for the car. I didn’t understand what was going on; when I brought my nose close, the illusion broke. I didn’t detect any notes clearly; it just felt sweet and pleasantly musky. More floral than fruity, even after looking up the notes, I still didn’t smell the fruits. I blame the poor quality. Since I wasn’t sure which season it was for, I wore it in summer when it was hot. When I first sprayed it, it was so sweet I thought I’d be disgusted, but honestly, it’s not bothersome and not too heavy. It doesn’t last long; I can smell it for about two hours, then it fades to skin scent for another six hours before dying off. In the dry-down, it balances out and loses some of that cheap feeling—Middle Eastern scents usually dry down well. It lasts much longer on clothes. Unisex but leans feminine; I wouldn’t wear it myself. If you use it, I recommend enjoying it in the air and keeping a reasonable distance from people. I never buy EAU fragrances for political reasons, but out of all I’ve tried, despite its many issues, this is the one I liked the most. 6/10.
What can I say about this gem? The golden beast. Incredible longevity on both skin and clothes, accompanied by a great price for the service they provide. A compliment bomb.
Fantastic, damn, this is perfect. But in summer it can get a bit overwhelming; I thought it was more of a summer scent, but it shines brightest and holds up best in winter. What I notice most is the melon paired with something floral; I see it as very feminine unisex. Warning: this sticks to your clothes and lasts until you shower. Forget 8 or 16 hours; this doesn’t go anywhere, you’ll keep smelling it, and it leaves a trail wherever you go. The quality of the ingredients is noticeable compared to other cheap copies, and the presentation is high-quality with the velvet box (and now I think they even come with a decant). This is definitely the best dupe of Erba Pura for me.
Longevity: 4-5 hours on skin. Projection: about 2 hours at arm’s length.
It’s a very good perfume, but in my opinion, it’s a unisex that leans very feminine. If you’re a man and want to smell like a man, then yes, you won’t have issues wearing feminine fragrance notes. It’s of excellent quality and you can buy it blind, but if you want to smell sweet yet masculine, go for JPG Le Male Elixir, Hawas Elixir, or Lattafa Kimdong instead. You could also try Nitro Blue; there are plenty of less feminine options.
Smells amazing. Right after applying, it smells like freshly shampooed hair with a hint of sunscreen. Once it dries down, it becomes sweet and leaves a super fresh trail. Highly recommended for the price, though on my skin it disappears in under 30 minutes—probably just olfactory fatigue. Overall, a great perfume.
This perfume is a total game-changer. It’s fruity with a tropical vibe, a touch of woodiness, and a hint of sweetness. It’s perfect, I love it, and I’ve received many compliments wearing it. One of my best purchases, without a doubt. An excellent blind buy if you like this type of perfume.
These days there are better and cheaper options, like the Ana Abiyedh White, although this one is a bit more citrusy.
I used to love it but now I’m tired of it. I notice it on guys at the gym and it makes me sick; it’s way too overused. It has decent longevity and leaves a trail, though I’ve noticed the dry-down on clothes smells like deodorant, almost like armpit sweat, which is quite annoying.
Identical copy of Erba Pura, it has a magnificent scent, very unique, refreshing and sweet all at once.
Incredible smell. Undoubtedly a very good perfume, words can’t describe it.
Objectively, it’s a great perfume. The problem is the mass production of Erba Pura clones, like the Borealia from Mercadona, which obviously don’t have the same quality. It projects for about 2-3 hours and clings to clothes and skin for a very long time; it’s a true beast mode. I loved it at first, but now it feels so powerful and cloying that it overwhelms me and even makes me a little dizzy. If you’re a fan of the Erba Pura DNA, it’s a must, but if you’re not into fruity and sweet scents, test it before buying.
It’s a sweet bomb that walks in without asking permission, standing out for its potency rather than uniqueness. The fruity blend is brutal; it works for all seasons but really shines in spring. In summer, above 30°C, don’t wear it at night because it’s too much. Lasts 9 to 10 hours on skin and projects for 2 to 3 hours. A great addition to your wardrobe, ideal for evening outings with friends or night wear.
Smells quite sweet and has a strong presence; everyone comments on how intense it is, which can sometimes be counterproductive. The best part is that it lasts a long time on both skin and clothes. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a winter perfume that demands attention.
Very wild. It’s a shame the DNA is so overused and people think you’re wearing Borealia, but this projects for a minimum of 4 hours if you apply it to your clothes. Plus, it smells much better than the previous one because it’s not as synthetic.
