Descripción
Lost Cherry by Tom Ford is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by perfumer Louise Turner. The top notes reveal bitter almond, black cherry, and cherry liqueur; the heart unfolds with sour cherry or marasca, plum, Turkish rose, and sambac jasmine; while the base settles on vanilla, tonka bean, cinnamon, Peru balsam, sandalwood, benzoin, cloves, cedar, patchouli, and vetiver.

For me, it’s overrated. It doesn’t seem sophisticated or have a good finish; it’s more linear. In the attempt to combine a kid’s lollipop with the smoke from a New York bar’s cigars in the 20s, this perfume results, which, while honoring the name, won’t please every nose.
This is like wearing a sweet cherry Chupa Chupa or a sour cherry with bitter almond.
I have a decant of this fragrance and I absolutely loved it. The cherry note is addictive and smells amazing; I agree with those who say it smells sweet, but it has a special touch, like smoked cherry and fresh. I find it elegant and casual, perfect for special moments where you want to stand out by smelling so good. The longevity is quite good. I loved it so much, especially because I love the cherry note and it’s executed very well. 💖
Too sweet, with a cherry scent that’s overwhelming. It smells like a cherry palette or Vick’s VapoRub in suspension all the time. I think it’s good for a little girl or a young woman because of that super sweet aroma.
To me, it’s delicious; it’s sweet but also fresh, and I enjoy it every time I wear it (˶ᵔ ᵕ ˔˶).
It smells good, but for me, it’s extremely sweet. It’s like an intense cherry lollipop.
So many notes, and I only smell canned cherry.
I tried it two years ago and didn’t like it because it was too sweet and boozy, so I left it forgotten. Recently, I bought a travel set with the three Tom Ford cherries, and now that I use it more, I really like it. You can really taste the cherry and almond with that boozy part that stops being overwhelming once it dries and mixes with spices that give it a unique touch, hard for cheap imitations to copy (I have Zara’s Cherry Smoothie and I like it, but they aren’t the same). For me, the closest one is Bodacious by Boadicea the Victorious (harder to pronounce 😜), which has different nuances and I only wear it for formal occasions, so I’ll stick with the Lost Cherry travel set to avoid spending too much since I already have both.
At first, it smells like cherry liquor with lots of almond. Once it dries on my skin, it stays sweet, soft, clean, and creamy; the vanilla comes out at the end and smells great. I don’t know the other notes because I’m a beginner when it comes to scents 🫠. I wish there were sample vials so I could learn. The downside is the price: it lasts a while but barely leaves a trail. If I had the money, I’d buy the original, but for now, I’m settling for Perfumarte, and it’s 90% the same. I see it as a day and night scent (more for day). I choose perfumes based on my outfit and mood, as long as they aren’t too heavy for summer, but everyone has their preferences. A little kiss to everyone 😊♥️
I thought I’d love it, but it smells artificial and like cheap liquor. I also didn’t like how it dried down on me and actually had to wash my arm. Honestly, it just smells very cheap to me.
I used it in winter and rain, maybe it wasn’t the best setting. It literally smells like maraschino, like a cocktail cherry. It’s very refined, a feminine flirtation. I didn’t detect any almonds or liqueur, only the initial preserved cherry or maraschino. Sparse trail and longevity. I’ll try it in spring.
It smells like medicine; I don’t recommend buying it blind. Scent 6.5/10, Projection 7/10, Longevity 7/10.
I bought it blind, guided by reviews and the hype. At first, it seemed strange to me: a dark, fortified cherry, not sparkling and feminine like the ones I know. It’s more unisex and intense. My 9-year-old daughter was fascinated by it, so I gave it a second chance. I applied it to my skin and let it dry before putting on clothes to avoid being overwhelmed. Woow! I’m loving it: it’s a scandalous, fortified cherry at the start, then dries down to be woody, slightly balsamic, and cloyingly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. It’s an unexpected scent but extremely addictive, something that makes me love it despite not being a fan of unisex fragrances. I haven’t used it in winter or rain, but I think it will be my favorite season. I don’t recommend wearing it above 25 degrees because it’s very strong and could overwhelm you.
Friends, the perfume opens with natural maraschino cherries in syrup, a delicate cocktail cherry, a delicious macerated cherry of top quality and nothing synthetic. It maintains a trail of 2 meters for 2 hours, then fades but you still feel it in your personal bubble, although you need to reapply after 4 hours. Delicious, refined, and entertaining; it makes you want to smell it all the time, but it’s very expensive for the size of the bottle, which is beautiful; these Tom Ford potions seem like magic.
I bought it blind and really liked it. I’m not sure if I love it, but it’s pleasant. You can detect the cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, vetiver, and cedar. It’s true that it doesn’t last long and barely lingers close to the skin over time; you have to apply quite a bit to get a good trail.
Very good perfume; it’s one of the few unisex ones I like because most are feminine. It smells like cherry liqueur; for us in Chile, it’s similar to ‘enguindado’ but finer and with riper cherries. The cherry is present all the time and projects well. It feels elegant, though I think it’s for parties or bars, not for everyday wear. The only issue is that its value is too high for a fruity aroma without complex notes to justify it.
I love it; I spent the whole day smelling my wrist. It smells like cherry and almond liqueur; I don’t detect the other notes much. The drydown is gorgeous, very sexy and refined. It’s curious: most unisex scents sound feminine to me, but this one suits a young man going out perfectly. The only downside is the price, which seems outrageous, so I stick with a dupe that has the same longevity, since the original doesn’t match its cost either.
At first, it smells like maraschino cherries, a bit irritating, but once it dries down, it becomes sweet and very pleasant to the nose.
It’s a perfume without many pretensions; the almond note reminds me of body oil. It’s rich, but the projection is very low.
Many people smell alcohol or medicine in it; it holds a special place in my collection for being the most criticized and despised.
In summary: it smells like a cherry soap.
It smells like Nivea’s Blackberry Shine, lol, exactly the same.
I have a weakness for cherries, and this perfume explodes on the skin, wrapped in almonds, with an explosive opening. Although I don’t find it sweet, it captivates me. Its evolution is like Karl Jaspers said: ‘going on a journey,’ where the questions are more important than the answers. The fragrance builds in its phases, taking what came before without abandoning the original cherry but turning into something new. In the second stage, the rose takes the lead as it mixes with the boozy cherry, resulting in a more approachable scent. The woody dry-down and vetiver seal this explosion of pleasure with a golden touch. Delicious, unisex, and with good projection. For occasions where being the main figure is non-negotiable.
I tried it yesterday and loved it. The opening literally smells like cherries, the fruit as if you were tasting it; at first it’s fresh, after 15 minutes it turns into boozy cherry, then the almond appears which, with the resins, gives a honeyed touch. It lasted 4 hours on my arm, I’m not sure if it leaves a trail, but my husband liked it a lot. I want to have it in my collection because it’s off the beaten path, it’s peculiar, and that fascinates me since I hate the generic ones.
I love this Tom Ford fragrance: it has that sweet cherry note perfectly combined with a slightly smoky woody base, totally unisex and suitable for cool climates. There is a Victoria Secret body mist called Cherry Elixir that smells similar. It differs from Electric Cherry from the same house because the latter is sweeter without the woody base and smells like Tutsi Pop makeup (very common in Mexico), making it more feminine.
I love the smell of cherries, but other perfumes with this note used to disappoint me: they seemed girly, like air freshener or syrup. But here it’s different; Lost Cherry is special. It smells of well-combined boozy almonds with sour cherry and plum that sound amazing on my skin. It’s not for everyone or every occasion, I ordered decants of several and will definitely buy the big bottle. Always test on fabric, blotting paper, and skin before buying to save money.
I don’t like strong perfumes, and this is one of them. That juicy, sweet cherry at first, then mature and powdery, gives me a headache. For some reason, it reminds me of death, a putrid smell at the end. It’s an excellent perfume but too strong for my taste; it doesn’t seem rich or sexy to me, but rather like rotting cherries. Too abrupt and invasive, I don’t recommend buying it blind.
My wife bought it for me, but since I was tired and hungry, I didn’t try it until the weekend at dinner. Boom! What a delight: it’s sweet, like chewing on a cherry from a cake with a boozy kick. It’s totally sensual, nothing for everyday wear, it provokes unexpected reactions, and it deserves the Tom Ford signature. Pure quality, what a gem! I give it a 9/10 as a first impression.
It’s a harmonious, elegant, and well-balanced blend. From the first spray, it has an enveloping opening that evolves smoothly into a warm heart and a lasting base. It has good projection and excellent longevity. Ideal for any occasion, it leaves a memorable impression.
I wanted to try it because I can’t find it in stores nearby and it’s always been hailed as the king of cherries. After trying it, I understand why it has good reviews: it smells great, like that sour cherry candy but with a fantastic boozy twist. Even though my nose isn’t very trained, I don’t find it childish; on the contrary, I see it as super sophisticated for going out at night. I wouldn’t buy it, though, because the longevity and sillage don’t justify the high price (on my skin, by 5 PM it barely smelled anything). It’s unisex, but I feel it’s more feminine.
Guilty Pleasure Friends, if there is a fragrance that delivers on its promise, it’s this. From the first spray, it wraps you in a delicious cherry liqueur. It’s sweet, but not cloying, like a luxury cocktail. It doesn’t have an extreme evolution, but a smooth and exquisite transition. After that first sip, it settles into a combo of almond and cherry, creamy and velvety. All the notes blend so well I can’t distinguish them, creating a homogeneous aroma without distractions. In the dry down, the almond and cherry dance in harmony. It’s unisex and elegant, sophisticated without being teenage. Not for a 40-degree beach day, but for a cool night or a stylish outing. My score: 9/10, a delight from start to finish.
Sometimes I love it and other times I don’t feel like wearing it, but when I do, it’s my signature. It’s complex and well-balanced, a wonder that depends on my mood. Some say it smells like cherry balsam, others like cider or clean. It has shifting facets that tell a story: starts juicy, then aldehydic notes, plums and cherries, and finally a velvety Turkish rose. In the end, it’s sweet and spicy, with a hint of dirtiness that makes you feel like a lost cherry in a velvet suit. It reminds me of 90s pink and gold baths, touching up lipstick before seeing someone special. Intimate dinner, liquor, Portishead and Massive Attack music, an Alaïa coat, silk sheets, and him in his leather jacket. My footsteps on marble, wild but never vulgar embraces. My best blind buy.
Marvelous! When the cherry fades and the almond comes out… it’s delicious and addictive. The best cherry!
Lost Cherry surprised me from the very first second. The opening is an explosion of acidic, juicy cherry, balanced and not cloying. It smells sophisticated and original. Then it evolves into soft, creamy vanilla mixed with warm woods. The contrast between sweet and wood is perfect. It’s elegant and different, totally recommended.
I was gifted a sample and liked it, so I tried a decant. I have a love-hate relationship with it. The opening is unappealing to me, very sweet and smells like overripe cherries. Once it dries down, it becomes soft and warm. I won’t spend a full bottle on something that takes me from disgust to enjoyment. Perfumes are meant to be enjoyed, not suffered through.
I met this scent a year ago and it was my best discovery. I’ve smelled many perfumes and none have captivated me like this one. It’s simple and complex at the same time. I never thought cherry could smell anything other than synthetic, but here it smells like real cherry with almond, vanilla, and woods. It’s incredible, even if the price is very high. Maybe I should save up to treat myself.
Beautiful composition. It’s not just the scent, it’s the atmosphere and mood it creates. Magical, absolute, unconditional love.
I bought a decant to see if it was worth it. It’s not bad, smells good, but for the price and hype, it lacks projection and longevity. After 4 hours, it’s just skin scent. Is it worth the investment? I don’t think so. There are other cherry and almond options with better longevity and price, like the Mayar Cherry.
So rich and sweet, smells like juicy cherry with vanilla, like a lollipop or a soft-serve ice cream. It doesn’t smell synthetic like most, but rather natural. It’s unisex, though it leans feminine. Not ideal for summer, but I’d love to wear it with a beach outfit.
This smells rich and sweet, like cherry juice with vanilla, but it gets a bit tiring to me. Even though it has vetiver and looks more masculine, I still feel it’s feminine. The downside is it doesn’t last or project well; it fades within hours with a weak trail. There’s a similar Armaf (Uniq) but with more punch. I wouldn’t recommend buying either without smelling them first. 🕉️🕉️🕉️
