  I’d been watching YouTube reviews for a while before finally trying this; I had high expectations. The opening is surprising: medicinal oud mixed with apple and strawberry that smells odd, like cough syrup. After ten minutes, it evolves: saffran emerges, adding a resinous touch over a sweet base of sandalwood and caramel. As the two bald guys and Juan de Huele Mucho say, it’s a ‘pepinazo’—powerful and challenging. I disagree slightly: it’s interesting and bold, but it follows the path of other known fragrances like Laudano Nero or Afrika Olifant, albeit with more modest performance. The scent is definitely good, but the performance doesn’t justify the price. It performs well for the first hour with moderate projection, then clings to the skin and is only noticeable if someone leans in close. For around $500, I expected something more substantial. It’s a serious, mature, and artistic fragrance, ideal for special occasions. Its unisex character makes it accessible, though it suits people over 30 better. Perfect for formal or semi-formal settings. Duration: approx. 8 hours on skin, but low sillage, almost imperceptible. Aroma: 9/10 Sillage: 5/10 Projection: 5/10 Longevity: 5.5/10
