Out of the three I’ve tried from the house (alongside Rosarium and Hatria), this is the one that suits me best, though I still think the brand is way too expensive for what it offers. What really stands out is the tobacco flower, bolstered by woods and amber. Pretty good, but I wouldn’t buy it at this price.

To me, Ignes, Virtus, and Miracula are the house’s three jewels. Ignes is an original smoky scent—nothing like a Fourth of July bonfire or a barbecue; here it’s dry, spicy tobacco, like the ash left in a pipe after it’s been smoked. It reminds me of the aromatic pipe tobacco pouches at tobacconists, with a chocolatey touch of patchouli. Dry down could be a cousin of Nasomatto’s Pardon, but I think Ignes evolves much more. It’s not intrusive, has great trail, and doesn’t overwhelm anyone. Its only flaw is versatility: these smoky aromas aren’t for everyday wear; they need a special occasion. Lasting power is very good.
