Hello. This men’s fragrance follows the house’s woody line. Here, the base is soapy—that bar soap green note that evokes cleanliness and just stepping out of the shower. That soap scent leads at first after applying it to the skin, combined with the cypress note that lingers throughout the entire life of the fragrance. Obviously, it doesn’t evolve in stages (top, heart, base); instead, it alternates between dark and light projections. I recommend testing it on skin before buying.

For fans of Terre d’Hermès and LV’s Imagination, this is a must-buy and the best find of the season. If Imagination is a hotel bar soap, this is the soap of a premium 5-star lodge deep in the woods. Ideal for fall, spring, and summer, best worn during the day. The longevity is moderate, maybe a bit short. At first, it projects heavily for the first hour and a half. One of the best green tea scents I’ve ever encountered.
