When I was young, I was ignorant. I used to believe catalog perfumes were bad and smelled cheap. The truth is, the only flaw was the immature perception I had in my teenage years. Now, at 24, I’ve rediscovered and reconnected with several scents I once criticized. I gave myself the chance to try other catalog brands. Esika’s Legend surprised me; I found superior quality in longevity, sillage, and composition, far better than many designer brands and so-called prestigious houses. It’s very pleasant, smelling clean, woody, with a prominent yet friendly camphoraceous cardamom. I don’t think it’s for hunting (dating), but it’s excellent for enjoying long chats with friends and family. To wrap up, I highlight the aroma’s quality and the beautiful bottle design. Great fragrance.

“BECAUSE IT’S HERE! WHERE MY NAME WILL BE WRITTEN IN LEGEND”… Holy land!…….(I’m listening to this track while writing the review). YAAAAA, after a few days I have my opinion… A fragrance that opens with citrus and talc, starts soft, but like the phoenix, it rebirths in a few seconds and hits your nose with great intensity. Very good; although cardamomo dominates, it feels fresh with woody touches… spices? I’m not sure what they added since I sense a bit of amber sweetness, but it’s still very good in scent, pleasant, extroverted, humble, simple, and yet striking. It’s a fragrance for a friendly type… that’s how I feel. It’s somewhat similar to Eros minus the mint and vanilla, but it takes a different path. Well, linear and all that, but! With a 4-hour projection strength, the first hour is heavy, that’s for sure. Lasts about 6 to 7 hours, but fragrances twice the price last only 4 hours scraping by. In these times, a “catalog” or “magazine” fragrance with that quality is a LEGEND. Timeless? Well, it depends on everyone, but I prefer warmer climates or days, days/afternoons/nights (versatile), that depends on your sprays. I don’t find it yields excellently for rainy days or extreme cold; for winter, there are better options in my opinion. Age uffff from 18 until wherever life takes us! Very comfortable to wear, and blind-bought totally men! If you find it at a low cost, take it home lml.

  • Walking with the wild fury of a victor today, pushing my heart until it breaks. For every drop of blood spilled in passion, time will judge my worth. Because this is where! My name will become legend! Holy Land!

  • And walk with the fury of the wild one who conquers today, pushing the heart until it breaks. For every drop of blood spilled with passion, time will judge my worth. Because here is where my name becomes legend! Holy Land.

Excellent fragrance! Its longevity is amazing with a great trail, and it has fantastic projection. As soon as I run out of the bottle, I’ll order another.

Lovely fragrance, just ran out and its herbal aroma is quite noticeable. It’s good, but I won’t be ordering another Tank It Up Next, haha.

Good morning, at first it didn’t grab my attention, something quite common. Today I wore it and my impression was: it smells like Coach Platinum. To clarify, they don’t share the same notes, but they aim for the same goal. It starts with a citrus top that lasts only 15 or 20 minutes. From there, you get that sweetness, perhaps from the amber, very similar to Coach (this one doesn’t have it). Anyway… very linear; yes, it projects well for 3 to 4 hours, then the aura closes in, and believe me: it lasts more than 8 hours. For the price… highly recommended, I’d say it’s a very affordable Coach. In Colombia, it’s $136,000 full price and as low as $60,000 on sale.

Hi, at first it didn’t impress me much; it seemed pretty common. But I tried it today and was blown away: it smells like Coach Platinum. Heads up, the notes aren’t identical—they might share one or two—but they head in the same direction. It starts with citrus that lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, then that sweetness kicks in, like amber, very similar to Coach (though this one doesn’t have it). From there, it’s quite linear, but the projection is insane for 3 to 4 hours. Then the aura settles, and I promise you, it lasts more than 8 hours. For the price, it’s highly recommended; I’d say it’s an ultra-affordable Coach. In Colombia, it goes for $136,000 full price and as low as $60,000 on sale.

  • Dominant amber notes that play with the freshness of cardamom, but it’s more of an attempt at freshness than total freshness, as the spices put a limit on it. The sweetness of the amber can be a bit cloying. A decent fragrance for casual, laid-back moments, trying to please without being too impactful; some noses will love it, others will kick the amber to the curb. It’s not a love-hate kind of scent, simply lacking what’s necessary to reach that level. Not the type I’d go out of my way to repurchase. Cheers.

  • Frozen cardamom and amber with a soft, non-pungent citrus opening. My friend wore it and it suited her perfectly, even though it’s marketed for men, proving that perfumery is truly unisex.

A great surprise from Esika: a blend of citrus and spice with an aquatic touch not listed on the label. The opening stands out, but by the hour, cardamom and wood take over, though the initial scents remain. When it dries down, everything lingers but softer. It has nothing to envy from designer fragrances. Perfect for winter nights, the beach, or cold climates, and also great for daily wear in the heat.

  • Cold, cardamom-infused amber with citrus that isn’t sharp on the opening… A friend wore it and it looked incredible on her, even though it’s marketed for men, and here it’s clear that this fragrance is truly unisex.

  • Manuel Cornejo

A great surprise from Esika… a citrus and spicy blend with an unlisted aquatic touch. At first, that aquatic vibe dominates, but by the hour, the cardamom and woody notes take over, while the citrus lingers. In the dry down, the notes stay present but softer. Nothing to envy from designer scents… ideal for winter nights, the beach, summer, cold nights, or warm days.

I had this Leyenda and the Mont Blanc Explorer and people told me the Mont was one they’d heard before, and I realized that too. Then I smelled Leyenda again and it’s that same piercing scent, but the price difference is astronomical.

  • Ignacio2206

I’m wearing it and I put it on at 2pm, it’s 6:46pm now and it still smells great… perfect for its price.

  • I don’t like sweet or vanilla scents, but this is excellent, it’s just right, it’s discreet, smells good, and lasts a long time. It’s pleasant for daily wear. My wife and I both like it; it’s hard for her to like perfumes, but she loves this one, above others that are more expensive like Black XS by Paco Rabanne or Fraiche by Versace. Excellent option for the price.

  • Aurelioparfum

I don’t like it as much because of the sweetness, but I have it for occasions. It’s good for going out during the day with something that isn’t fresh or aquatic. It’s very good.

  • I smelled it 3 years ago and hated it. Now, with 3 years into the perfume world and a more mature nose, I smelled this again (which was almost full). The opening doesn’t appeal to me; it’s synthetic, but the drydown is different, I didn’t expect that, I felt it was warm and you can detect the cardamomo. For a catalog scent, it’s well-structured, I was surprised. For the price, it’s a good buy, really surprised.

  • Excellent perfume. For the price, you can’t ask for more. It doesn’t surprise at first, in fact, the first time I heard it, I didn’t like it, but once it dries down, it changes a lot and becomes much more pleasant.

  • I’ve been a user since 2016 (when it was called ‘Leyenda – Christian Meier’). It’s super masculine, woody, and citrusy, with longevity few have (literally smells on clothes after washing). In Costa Rica, it’s around $26, an acceptable price. I used to get tons of compliments from girls aged 16 to 24, but now that I’m aging, less and less, maybe it’s not ideal for hitting on people past 25. After trying designers like J.P. Gaultier or Armani, Leyenda falls way behind, so my taste has dropped and this will be my last bottle. The scent improves a lot after the first two hours. Try it if you’re looking for something masculine, long-lasting, and cheap that attracts attention, but not if you’ve already tried quality perfumes, because you’ll notice the huge difference and might hate it, like I did: from ‘perfume of my life’ to ‘please make this go away’.

  • El Bambino

I got this years after my sister PULSO ran out; it doesn’t have the same impact, but it smells good. At first, it’s very sweet, but with time and more fragrances in my rotation, it doesn’t seem so much anymore. I’ve had this bottle for 5 years and it has evolved beautifully. Nowadays it’s sweet without being cloying, strong at first, then releasing bursts. I spray it 6 to 7 times and my wife loves it. I recommend it for that almost giveaway price (around $13 here), even if it cost up to $30. Longevity: 8 hours, projection: 2 to 3 hours, sillage: 9/10, value: 10/10.

I have the Absolute version and it’s a bomb, though I’m dying to try the original Leyenda.
