  • Kismet for Men by Maison Alhambra masterfully emulates Rochas Moustache, but this Kismet proposal feels a bit more stately, whereas Rochas is more jovial—vintage yet modern. The resemblance is nearly identical. The Arab interpretation is astounding; Kismet is the culmination of Moustache, more polished, bright, and complete. The vanilla base balances the precious woods and fantastic patchouli, making it woody, earthy, and warm. It’s impertinent seduction, an iconic gentleman of timeless elegance. Preferable for cold or fresh climates, ideal for romance. Fantastic dry down. Scent: 9. Projection: 2 hours. Longevity: 8 hours. Recommended.

  • Kismet by Maison Alhambra is an absolute beast of a clone of Rochas Moustache, but with more class and less vintage vibe; the Arabic version elevates it to another level, brighter and more complete. The vanilla base balances the woods and fantastic patchouli, giving it a woody, warm touch. It smells like impertinent seduction, perfect for charismatic gentlemen in cool weather or dates. The drydown is spectacular: 9/10 on scent, 2 hours projection, and 8 hours longevity. Recommended.

  • For 30 euros, it beats 80% of commercial perfumes. I bought Tuxedo a year ago and it comes to mind, but be realistic: it lacks that sharpness and sophisticated charm, perhaps due to missing ambergris. In Kismet, there’s a ‘fresh alcoholic’ base (patchouli with nutmeg) alongside the woods that takes away some formality; it’s for going out, flirting, with charm and mystery focused on the night. Comparing it to Tuxedo is like comparing a Stradivarius to an electric guitar; it depends on the moment. With 8 sprays, you project all day, especially on clothes. For quality and price, it’s a solid 10. Perfect for cold autumns and winter nights.

I don’t know if it’s exactly the same as Tuxedo, but considering the quality and what it offers… Wow. It smells rich right from the first spray. The real magic is in how it dries down; this is definitely a blind buy.

  • Andypollis10

Whether it resembles Tuxedo or not, I don’t know, but for quality, price, and deal… Wow. It’s gorgeous and feels rich right from the start. The magic is in the dry down; it’s a blind buy without hesitation.

  • gusgus2020

Rich and super woody, perfectly balanced for any weather. Projects well and lasts great, and on clothes it’s eternal. A safe blind buy. Plus, the packaging is stunning.

  • Monono123456

My review matches marcoxantonio’s. The performance is non-existent; it muddies up a bit and smells nice, then vanishes into thin air in 3 minutes. The hype around these Arab fragrances is way overblown. Two out of two with this feeling.

  • Great clone, almost on par with Rochas. Moderate longevity, about 5 hours, then reapply. For the cost, you can’t ask for more. It feels luxurious, high quality. A compliment machine, versatile, masculine, and creamy. Highly recommended.

  • I haven’t smelled Rochas or Tuxedo, so this is an uncomparative review. It’s elegant; I wear it with semi-formal outfits and it makes me feel polished. The woody-creamy blend is a hit. Longevity is light-to-moderate (4 hours) with 1 hour of projection, but it’s worth it for the price and you can easily reapply.

I have mixed feelings; I thought it was a Tuxedo clone and it smells very similar until it dries down to a smoky note. The trail isn’t heavy, but it disappears fast on skin and clothes, leaving only a faint patchouli scent on fabric the next day. It’s fine for brief 1-2 hour dates, but won’t leave a lasting impression or last a workday. It’s a nice collector’s piece, though I recommend Afnan Turathi Brown for better longevity and a heavier sillage.

  • The opening reminded me of Club de Nuit Intense Woman for that patchouli, nutmeg, and vanilla. The rose is missing, but I feel the woods replace it. The dry-down on clothes reminded me of Black XS drying, just patchouli, I love it. On skin, I noticed it a bit weaker, detected woods and vanilla at the end. Longevity: 5-6 hours on skin, 12 on clothes. Unisex masculine. Worth it.

  • Watch out, don’t fall for this fragrance’s hype. Don’t buy it blindly; it’s too ‘old school’ feminine for my taste. It’s not a bad perfume, just not for everyone.

  • Alejandro Kashmir

I haven’t tried Tuxedo to compare, but this scent has captivated me—I smell it constantly. They say it fades quickly, but on my skin it lasts about 6 hours (maybe 7). For the price, it’s an absolute steal.

  • I bought this because I tried Moustache in a store and loved it, but I didn’t want to pay the price, so I came here and discovered that both Kismet and Moustache are inspired by Tuxedo (which I didn’t even know existed). I ordered it immediately on Amazon. Smells elegant, for cool or cold weather; in heat, it becomes heavy. Good projection and longevity. Do I recommend it? Yes, but more so Moustache. If you don’t want to spend that much, do as I did and buy this, because I paid $22 for Kismet.

  • Melvincito

Not a casual or youthful fragrance… it’s complex, creamy, woody, and dense, seems vintage, reminded me of Moschino Femme, crazy. It’s not a bad perfume, but don’t buy it blindly.

  • At first, very alcoholic, then comes the bitter-sweet nutmeg with woods. It inverts the usual path: starts with woods and nutmeg, sweetens with cocoa, and finishes with elegant vanilla. Patchouli goes from start to finish; I’d say it’s the main note. Sweet but not cloying, for cool or cold weather. Patchouli is a risky note but works well with nutmeg. Oriental personality, spicy, reasonable longevity but weak projection. You have to reapply, but at this price, it’s great for exploring scents and notes.

  • Fresh, light, worn as if there’s no tomorrow. It’s not heavy, it doesn’t bother anyone. You could bathe in it and still feel fresh. Ideal for relaxed moments. Longevity isn’t eternal, apply it two or three times a day to refresh.

  • I own both Kismet for Men and Kismet Moscow by Maison Alhambra; they are amazing, a unique and grand scent, a safe buy. The fixation on the first is huge, 80% identical to Moustache with 20% of its own character that elevates it without being heavy; the longevity is divine. The second, Kismet Moscow, is said to be like Kilian’s Vodka on the Rocks (I haven’t tried that one), but this is another gem. They are opposites: this one is fresh, icy, inspired by a drink with vodka, lemon, and bubbles. 5 hours, which is good for a fresh scent. A pleasure in the hammock on a hot day, perfect for your cocktail or fruit salad.

  • Perfume bomb! Smells like maturity, elegance, and seduction. Best after 25, perfect with a dress shirt for events or serious work. Lasts 7 hours, projects 2 feet, and leaves a trail of luxury. Designer brand quality at an unbeatable price.

  • So far, it hasn’t convinced me. At first, it left me indifferent, then I liked it for a few minutes, but later a note appeared that gave me nausea and almost made me stop smelling perfumes altogether. I don’t know what it is, but the bottle is gorgeous and the presentation is great. The scent is complicated for me for now. I hope to review it again with better impressions, but for now, I don’t like it. At least it only cost $25.

I LOVED KISMET FOR MEN. Heavy fragrance, 100% masculine, for adults and formal occasions. Not for everyone.

  • I don’t like it so far. The first time I smelled it, I was indifferent, then I liked it for a few minutes, thinking it was elegant and wearable. However, an unpleasant note kept chasing me, causing nausea to the point where I wanted to stop smelling perfumes for a few days. I don’t know what’s causing it and I’m trying to get used to it, since I love the bottle and presentation, but the scent is very complicated for me right now. I hope to review it again later with great news that I absolutely loved it, but for now, I don’t like it. At least it only cost $25.

  • I read it’s for men over 35, and indeed my father and brother liked it; it reminded my father of a perfume from over 30 years ago. The opening is very strange, almost ugly, reminiscent of spoiled Avon perfumes, but after two hours things change. This has a clear transition effect between notes: it becomes pleasant and masculine. It lasts days on clothes and has moderate projection. The scent is dated due to the notes, but someone over 50 might absolutely love it.

  • Ideal for night for a tough, seductive man. To use it, you need to embody the role of a tough guy; otherwise, better to abstain. Can be worn with a suit jacket or leather jacket.

  • Kismet combines patchouli, sandalwood, and vanilla. After reading wonders about it, I expected something different. I’m not disgusted by it, but I find it simple and lacking character. Decent performance: about 8 hours on skin and 2 hours of projection. I recommend trying it before buying to make sure it suits you.

  • I stopped using sweet perfumes a while ago, and with Kismet I rediscovered that lost taste. It smells a lot like YSL Tuxedo but with its own touch; if you like Mugler A*Men or Cuba Prestige, you’ll love this. It smells fantastic, elegant, yet suitable for daily wear; it’s hard to say it’s not for men or women. Works day and night, without an annoying sweetness—it’s a subtle, friendly sweet even in heat, like smelling a cup of cappuccino thanks to that creaminess, with citrus and woods. Believe me, you’ll like it. If you want something you’ll enjoy and that projects around you, this is the one, no need to worry about making a mistake. Good price and decent longevity/projection; it’s not a Ted Lapidus or One Man Show. For reference, I put it on the palm of my left hand, and even after washing it two or three times, it stayed. That makes me think of Arab brand quality: in hot, dry climates, they ‘ramp up the volume’ of ingredients to last and project. 100% recommended, since most of these require blind buying. Go ahead without fear of spending a few bucks; you won’t regret it. Best regards from Mexico to those who enjoy and collect fragrances.

  • Wow! Smells like patchouli and vanilla, it’s creamy, sweet, and projects like crazy. I’ve been wearing Rochas Moustache, so when I saw they were compared, I decided to try it and was blown away: they’re in the same family. The difference is Rochas is spicier at the start and dries down floral, while Kismet is sweeter, darker, and lacks that floral dry-down. P.S. If you’re hesitant about heavy patchouli scents, Kismet is a great way to get used to it, since the patchouli is paired with cacao and feels powerful without being too dry. Very well made.

  • Awesome! Smells like patchouli and vanilla, creamy, sweet, and projects a lot. It lasts forever. I’ve been wearing Rochas Moustache and identify with it; after seeing the comparisons, I tried Kismet and was pleasantly surprised: they’re in the same family. For me, Rochas is sparklier at the start and floral in the drydown, while Maison Alhambra is sweeter and darker, without that floral touch. P.S. If strong patchoulis turn you off, Kismet will get you used to patchouli paired with cocoa, boosting the note without being so dry. Very well done.

  • I’m obsessed with the scent: it’s warm, herbal, and woody with a sweet touch. It’s easy to find and cheap, but the catch is it doesn’t last; mine came out weak. I used it for almost a week and had to reapply constantly to keep smelling it. Perfect for cold weather and night. Sometimes it holds up, other times it doesn’t. Great scent, pity about the longevity. 7/10

I love the scent: it’s warm, herbal, and woody with a sweet touch. Easy to find at a good price. The only downside is it doesn’t last long; I wore it for almost a week and had to reapply constantly to keep it going. Sometimes it lasts well, other times nothing. It’s inconsistent, but the scent is top-notch. Ideal for nights and cold weather. 7/10.
