It’s fruity and citrusy at the same time. The combination isn’t well executed for my taste; it’s like squeezing a lemon over a mango. It’s unisex leaning towards feminine, it doesn’t smell like a man at all. Good performance, highlighting more its projection than its longevity.

  • Excellent option for spring-summer if you don’t want to stop smelling sweet. It’s a great tropical combination that when sprayed smells like mango juice, passion fruit, and a citrus touch that gives a sensation of cold and freshness, balancing the fragrance very well. It generates compliments, projects well, and lasts about six hours given properly, which is enough in my opinion. Perfectly unisex. Incredible that, even though it doesn’t declare the fruits, they feel quite realistic.

  • Luckily I tested a decant before falling for the hype. The opening is citrusy and sharp, lasts a few minutes, then dries down to a rich fruity tropical scent. Easy to like, but I wouldn’t buy the sealed bottle. Good longevity, moderate projection 8/10.

It disappoints me. I had read on reviewers, TikTok, and Instagram that it was fresh and clean, like Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Toilette or Imagination. But this smells sweet, nothing clean or fresh. Maybe for spring, but where I live there are no temperate seasons; it’s either hot or cold. In spring the temperature rises quickly and it doesn’t agree with me. If I were to swap my Spectre for a Hawas for Him. If you live in a place with a fresh and hot climate, don’t even think about it. It’s not suitable for casual use, maybe for the office, but there are better and cheaper options. Not for parties, dates, or the gym.

For the price and proposition, it’s okay, although this perfume is too loud. The opening is very strong and lasts a long time on the skin, which would be good if it weren’t for the fact that it smells cloying to the point of being tiring or annoying. If you enjoy scents like Amber Oud Gold Edition, you might like it, but I strongly recommend testing it on skin, not just in the store, to see how it feels throughout the day; it’s dangerously strong.

I was disappointed: I bought it because of the hype and because everyone says it smells like mango (and I love mango), but it has no mango. The notes say exactly what they say, but the mango isn’t there. Also, it’s unisex leaning towards feminine.

  • Very good, mango and lemon; honestly, I love it. There are many haters and people who want it, but there’s a reality: it’s the essence of perfumery. Smelling it up close or on skin is much better, sure, but the reality is that perfumes are smelled in the air. Whoever likes it, in the air you can’t tell if it’s synthetic or if the notes are inferior; that only matters to people who smell up close, like the whisky note in an R.Prive that fades away. In the air, 99% of the time it’s something else. Regarding it being called feminine, strictly speaking, it’s unisex; nowadays most are, whereas 30 years ago it might have been considered feminine, but now both sexes can wear it. If you’re conservative and only like typically masculine fragrances, it’s logical that you wouldn’t like this or any unisex scent. The clone French Avenue Vulcan Feu is less creamy, but Malachite is more potent and lasts longer. For me, both are excellent, and in the air, they are identical; the difference is only noticeable on a blotter or close to the skin in the opening. As they dry, they go the same route, but the one from Fragrance World fades sooner than the one from M.Alhambra, though up close you notice better quality and clarity. If three people spray God, Vulcan, and Malachite, no one distinguishes them in the air unless you smell directly off the skin.

  • I bought it a month ago, used it for three days, and let it mature. I just started using it again yesterday and today, and I must say I love its scent; it’s a creamy, delicious fruity fragrance. But despite having let it mature, I feel it only projects for the first hour and then stays on the skin until 5 PM, which seems strange since reviews online and here say more longevity and projection. Let’s hope it improves with time because it’s a perfume I really like. Note that its presentation is beautiful and its atomizer is one of the best I’ve tried.

  • PERFUMAZO, I picked this up from Amazon two weeks ago. I already own Volcan Feu and God of Fire; while they are similar, Malachite opens with an alcoholic note before turning into sour ripe mango, not as fresh as God. On a very hot day, a friend told me I smelled like mango with chamoy and he was 100% right. Some might say it doesn’t last, but on my skin, even when sweating, it’s insane and projects for hours; definitely a beast and 100% recommended if you like this style.

  • Now I understand the hype. Completely deserved. A little gem. For me, the opening is heavily masculine, but once it settles, it’s quite versatile and perfectly unisex.

I have a love-hate relationship with this perfume: I’m a gay man who usually only looks for unisex or feminine scents, but I bought it because it was marketed as unisex with a feminine touch. Once I put it on, women—young and older alike—started complimenting me, saying it suits me perfectly despite my masculine, tall, and stocky build. I haven’t tried God of Fire, but Malachite has a hyper-realistic mango opening with spices that taste like a glass of mango with acidic, spicy chamoy from the streets of Mexico; perfect for hot days and keeps you fresh.

  • It lasts between 4 and 5 hours with average projection. You can strongly detect green mandarin, aromatic and spicy notes, and lower down, lavender and jasmine. It seems there’s a mango in the blend. A well-done unisex perfume, I like it; it’s quite different from the 104 perfumes I’ve already tried. If I had to define this DNA, I’d say it smells like this: on a table, there’s a pitcher of summer juice, a centerpiece with spices, a vase with fragrant dried branches, and a pinch of lavender with some faint wood notes. After 7 hours, it’s barely detectable close to the skin.

  • What a rich perfume, undoubtedly the best in price-to-quality ratio; you can’t find anything better at this price. You have to give it time: when new, it smells like passion fruit-mango, but after maturing for a month, it becomes more durable and the mango takes total prominence. Decent longevity and sillage, very nice presentation, and a top-tier atomizer in the style of Dior Sauvage.

  • It’s a beast of a perfume; I bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended for summer. In the opening, you note sharp citrus and green notes that disappear quickly. In the dry down, it smells sweet like mango (undeclared), to which a kick of paprika bursts in, but the fragrance declares many notes I can’t distinguish, speaking of a well-integrated and homogeneous blend with little evolution. A sweet, unisex scent, not cloying, not as fresh as they paint it. Special mention to the atomizer, which is fantastic. Good performance, lasts quite a bit on skin and projects a lot for the first two hours. GOD.

  • The scent is very rich. Ideal for daily use in summer, though it’s youthful and unstructured (I see it for going to college or customer service). Where it really shines is in the afternoon on a hot day. The bottle and atomizer are excellent, though personally I feel you can’t tell how much is left. However (a paradox), the atomizer, one of its great strengths, broke with normal use in 2/3 months. I only use decants now because the nozzle and the bottle-cap joint broke. Very good scent that evolves from fruity tropical and fresh to a curious and attractive musk; it’s a shame that with such a great presentation, it broke. I won’t talk about its similarity to Vulcan Feu or God of Fire because I don’t know them. What I do say is that I don’t smell mango (in fact, my girlfriend hates it and praised the scent). It’s more of a green note.

This is my first Arabic perfume and it left me speechless with its quality. It lasts about 7 hours on skin and projects around 3, though I could smell it from 7 AM until 10 PM (yes, even at the end of the day in my personal bubble, it was there). It smells delicious, addictive, and youthful; it puts you in a good mood and radiates energy. I see it in three layers: first, juicy sweet fruits like mango, watermelon, and pineapple; then spices with pepper, lavender, and herbal touches, where the pepper dominates; and finally a subtle but present aquatic base. I didn’t keep it because it’s not my style, and if you come from ADG, Ombré Leather, Dylan Blue, or Sauvage, it might not fully convince you, but the scent is top-notch—it’s just a matter of profile. I sold it to a gay friend who fell in love with it; it’s perfect for extroverted personalities with no prejudices and an open mind.

I bought it blind and it was a total hit; I went for the hype and it didn’t disappoint. It’s supposedly a dupe of God of Fire, but unfortunately, I haven’t smelled the original. Even if it is similar as people say, this one is ultra eye-catching for costing literally 20 times less for 100ml. I tried another famous dupe, Vulcan Feu, and they are similar, but I’d say Sceptre Malachite is more wearable. At first, it lasted a short time, about 4 hours, but after weeks of using it with more sprays, it was insane: applied at 7 AM and it was still strong at 4 PM. Ideal for warm climates. The opening is sweet, slightly citrusy with mango as the protagonist from the start; the dry down is similar, the scent doesn’t evolve much but it lasts a ton. The fresh mango scent is so good it’s addictive. Wearing it is a safe compliment; it’s an authentic gem and highly unlikely anyone will dislike it. It’s half-and-half unisex, neither heavy nor cloying. I’ll be buying more soon out of fear they’ll discontinue it or raise the price; I paid about $23. Blind buy 100% safe.

  • Sceptre Malachite by Maison Alhambra is a fragrance that completely captivated me from the very first moment. It’s one of those perfumes that not only smell good but convey luxury, balance, and an exquisite quality hard to ignore. Every time I wear it, I get the same impression: it’s brilliantly crafted. From the opening, it feels rich, enveloping, and highly refined, with a combination of deep and elegant notes. It’s not harsh or aggressive; on the contrary, everything is integrated, creating a silky and sophisticated sensation. As it evolves on the skin, it gains appeal, becoming warmer and creamier with a depth that adds character without losing elegance. It’s in this phase that it shows how well-constructed it is: the transition is smooth, coherent, and very pleasant. What I love most is how it lasts for hours, enveloping the skin with an elegant and addictive aroma. It doesn’t seek to grab attention excessively but rather seduces with class, leaving a well-maintained trail that accompanies without tiring. Overall, it’s an exquisite, refined fragrance with a distinct personality. It’s one of those perfumes I enjoy wearing that always leaves a feeling of total success. An outstanding proposal from Maison Alhambra, ideal for those seeking an elegant, enveloping scent with standout value.

  • This is a gem in perfumery at an incredible price. The supposed mango appears when the fragrances blend. I just bought it and the presentation is top-tier; the bottle is even better… I love that it’s green with gold accents. I’m eagerly waiting for it to mature so the mango scent becomes stronger.

  • This is a perfume where mango definitely takes the lead; however, using a somewhat vulgar analogy, it smells like a pulparindo (a popular sweet drink here in Mexico). Still, it’s a delicious, citrusy fragrance that’s ideal for everyday wear, perhaps not for very formal occasions. The most attractive feature without a doubt is the price: around 20 dollars for 100 ml.

  • One of the ones that gets the most compliments. Great sillage and longevity. Good price. Women love it, but I see it as very unisex. If you like masculine perfumes, this isn’t the most masculine one. It’s strange that I perceive a ripe mango but it’s not listed in the notes.

  • skeletaltrollchester

Scent: 7. A fruity aroma with a citrus top, mango heart, and woody base. A great scent for hot days, especially in tropical climates. Unisex, maybe even leaning feminine. It’s quite synthetic at first, smelling like room air freshener, but it mellows out beautifully as it dries. Longevity: 8. Good staying power; you can still smell the mango on skin after 8 hours. Sillage is moderate, lasting about half an hour at most before it becomes quite intimate. Price: 9. One of the cheapest options currently, a great choice for tight budgets looking for a non-burnt-out DNA. Final rating: 7.

  • A pretty good perfume. I bought it a few months ago, tried it, and purchased it without overthinking. No regrets, although I’ve already sold it; I only used about 20 ml. Its fruity citrus opening is delicious, slightly sweet; as it dries, it gets sweeter, then the woody notes kick in around the two-hour mark and fade gradually. Longevity is good, over 8 hours. I love citrus, but for me, it gets too sweet. Recommendation: if you like this type of aroma. Unisex—I’ve heard it on men and women, and it works well on both.

  • Maxi&Amadeo

Honestly, when I first bought it blind and sprayed it, the scent wasn’t very favorable; it was quite irritating, leaning towards Sceptre Desert. But after a day, I sprayed it again and yes… At first, there’s a very sharp citrus opening that fades quickly, leaving behind something similar to God of Fire in its dry-down; it’s not the same but resembles it a lot. It’s similar to Vulcan Feu (which I also own), but the latter smells dangerously like God of Fire right out of the bottle. This one is more citrusy than fruity, while Feu is more fruity than citrusy. As for performance, I can’t complain: I just got it, tested it with 10 sprays, and it lasted over 8 hours easily in 30-degree heat inside a metal factory where I was sweating like a salami in a glovebox. When properly masked, it will surely hit 12 hours. Projection is quite strong for the first three hours—I’d say even invasive; you get noticed, and a lot. After that, it lingers in sporadic bursts.

  • ElLocoDeLosPerfumes

It must be the wonderful combination of notes evoking others, but I barely find any of the listed ones here. To me, it’s a mango salad seasoned with lemon and a lot of salt. It’s fantastic!

  • Bad perfume: If you’re already deep into the perfume world, this isn’t for you. The opening is very rich: green tangerine + sparkling maracumango. The problem comes later. It starts getting sweeter, like it’s in syrup with musk, and then it stops evolving while that smell of burnt plastic or candle wax appears. Sillage and longevity are good. People say: it’s only $20. But in the end, if you’re not going to feel comfortable wearing it, don’t buy it.

  • Reminds me of fruit juice; I see it as unisex, but it’s a super tropical scent, perfect for summer. For 20 bucks, I don’t think many others offer this kind of performance, aroma, and presentation. If you compare it to Vulcan Feu, it’s practically the same.

  • PeruvianMonkey

Fruity and citrusy: tropical. Ideal for casual outings on hot days. The scent is pleasant, while the trail and longevity are moderate. The bottle is available for 75 soles (around $22 USD) at Tiendamia, so the quality-to-price ratio is excellent.

  • Davidhuztla

One of the best Arab perfumes out there! I don’t know why they don’t list the tropical mango note, but it’s flawless: projection, longevity, and that 25 euro price tag. 100% recommended.

  • william aguirre

Living in a tropical country, mangoes are so abundant they’re practically wasted; Sceptre Malachite doesn’t smell like mango, though. It opens with green mandarin, bergamot, and blackcurrants. It’s not for everyone, but I absolutely love it for breaking away from the vanilla standard of the last decade. It’s not a beast, but it lasts long enough to justify the price of this Maison Alhambra gem. If you care more about enjoying it than what others think, give it a shot.

  • lic en perfumeria

At first, it’s very sparkling citrus, but quite pleasant. What comes after is what really captivates. I really like this fragrance; while there’s debate about whether it smells like mango or not, the conclusion is that it has a fruity, fresh, and sweet aroma without being cloying at all. Excellent fragrance, in my opinion. Longevity is more than decent and the projection performance is great; I really wouldn’t want to smell someone three feet away wearing Sceptre. I feel part of its seductive charm is that medium projection. Personally, to describe the scent more vividly, I’d say it smells like tamarind Bacardi, lol, but in a good way. It’s sexy. I haven’t heard it on a woman, but I think it suits the male demographic better.

  • ALEXICTUS

I was genuinely surprised they didn’t list mango or passion fruit in the notes, because that’s exactly what this smells like. Cheap and fantastic. Don’t expect niche ingredients for the price—it’s synthetic—but I’ve gotten more compliments from this than from perfumes costing double. Girls don’t care if it’s synthetic as long as it smells good, and this does. A summer must-have, pleasant to wear. The longevity and projection aren’t huge, but it’s more than you’d expect from a fragrance in this price range and season. If you’re looking to get praised on hot days, this is the one. Totally worth it for the price.

  • usuario899

Good perfume. This one is too sweet and leans feminine in my opinion; honestly, it stopped pleasing me over time. It feels like a very mass-market scent, and for 30-degree heat, it’s horrible and synthetic. I’d recommend using it on cloudy days and especially at the beach. Both men and women can wear it. For its $24 price tag, I’d recommend it to those who love very citrusy-sweet fragrances and teenagers.

  • A must-have. It’s like a lime-lemon polo mixed with spicy powder; the lemon is a bit synthetic but nowhere near unpleasant. It’s like an acidic yet sweet lemon gummy. Lasts 8 hours without fading. If I were to buy it, I’d go for Opulent Dubai first, since the lime is more natural (less gummy-like) and blends better with the mango. Both are great perfumes; possibly both are in my top 5 collection. If I had to start from scratch, I’d buy one of these two first.

  • lalotafoya

Tropical and loud. I’d say it doesn’t project much, but my girlfriend says it smells like a scandal and it doesn’t suit her. I liked it at first, but over time it’s given me a bit of a turn-off, though it’s still a pleasant scent. I can almost smell the mango (which it doesn’t have, wtf) and the pepper throughout the day, which gives it that spicy kick. If it lasts, it hasn’t landed me a single compliment yet. The atomizer is top-notch; it mists like a fine fog. I don’t know if it’s versatile—I don’t see it as daily wear or for night dates, I’ve only used it at the gym. The most honest reviews usually come from people who know nothing about perfume and don’t have a refined nose; since my wife is like that, I believe her when she says it’s not that good. I got it for 600 pesos, let’s see if I sell it or gift it.

  • Pablocrz2610

A fragrance that reminds me a lot of fusion cuisine: a tangerine peel that evolves into a juicy mango. Longevity and trail are very good for a price that feels like a steal. It’s 80-88% identical to God of Fire.

  • Worth it for the price. Fresh, citrusy, slightly sweet, and fruity opening that gets a bit denser over time. It’s not that the development is bad, it just changes quite a bit, and at one point it smells like a pot of jam with green notes. Projection is good, you’ll definitely get compliments, and the longevity is spectacular; you can even smell it on clothes after washing. I wore this quite a bit this summer, or at least similar scents. It’s rich to wear until the sweetness starts to rot, which depends on everyone’s nose. My girlfriend can’t stand it; it gives her a turn-off.

  • A rich-smelling fragrance. If I had to describe it, it smells exactly like mango popsicles with chili. On me, it has good longevity and projection. A guaranteed blind buy.
