  • Acqua de Gio Profumo, the budget version. Smells very similar to the classic Armani but at a tenth of the price. Armani has dropped quality so much that ‘Jorge’ actually outperforms the original in longevity and projection.

Jorge di Profumo is a great alternative to ADG Profumo and Parfum. It’s a super cheap clone that lasts longer than the originals, probably due to Armani’s reforms. Not everything is perfect: the opening is a bit mentholated and herbal for the first 10 minutes and it’s not identical, but then it matches 95-98%. For the price, it’s a steal. Scent: 9.5/10, Longevity: 9/10 (better than Armani), Projection: 8.5/10, Price: 10/10.

Jorge di Profumo is an incredibly cheap clone of ADG Profumo and Parfum. I’m saying this strongly: it lasts longer than the originals, likely thanks to the reforms Armani made. It starts with a slightly mentholated herbal opening for the first 10 minutes and isn’t identical, but then it matches 95-98%. For the price, it’s a gem. Scent: 9.5/10, Longevity: 9/10 (better than Armani), Projection: 8.5/10, Price: 10/10.

  • Well, it’s the same as Profumo, Jazzab Silver (which I own), ADG Parfum (I often smell it in stores), and Suqraat; for practical purposes, they’re identical. However, although this fragrance is rich, my feeling is that its blend is softer and the ingredients are less distinct (which are probably the same). Longevity is normal on my skin, keep in mind that citrus don’t work well for me and none last more than 4 hours. I really like the ADN; I got it for $19 on eBay and feel it’s worth it.

  • Elegant fragrance that smells very similar to the ADG Parfum. Suitable for any occasion. The price is really affordable, around $20-25. Citrus top notes that evolve into lavender and sandalwood. Its trail and projection are weak, leaving something to be desired (though for the price, you can’t be too demanding). I consider it a very accessible alternative for lovers of the ADQ family.

  • Elegant fragrance that smells very similar to ADG Parfum. Suitable for any occasion. The price is very low, around $20-25. Citrus notes at the start that evolve into lavender and sandalwood. Projection and sillage are a bit weak, but you can’t ask for more at this price. A very accessible alternative for ADG fans.

  • The opening is very minty, similar to Mentholatum or foot powder. Despite that, the longevity is good and it lasts several hours. For the price, you can’t ask for more.

  • Mentholated, powdery opening with a touch of caramel, fresh, citrusy 🍋🟩, and clean. As it dries down, it leaves a soft powdery trail with lavender freshness. It smells like confidence, security, and respect. It’s the scent of an old-school gentleman or a man over 35 with financial stability and good intentions. Perfect for a first date with a respectable lady, not for a sugar baby or a club. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 6/10.

  • Iguanodondy

Minty opening, powdery, with a moderate touch of caramel, fresh, citrusy 🍋🟩, and clean. In the dry down, it stays softly powdery with the freshness of lavender. It’s a scent that conveys confidence, security, and respect. It’s the kind of aroma a gentleman of the old guard or a man over 35 with good financial stability and good intentions would wear. Ideal for a first date with a respectable lady, not for hanging out with a sugar baby or going to a club. Scent 8/10, longevity 6/10.

  • Very powerful opening, similar to the ADG Parfum. But after 30 minutes, it’s barely perceptible as skin scent. The scent-to-price ratio is excellent, but the performance is very poor, like almost all Maison Alhambra EDPs.

  • Leandro Matias

RICH, pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t resemble the Acqua di Gio Profumo too much; it lacks depth and darkness. It’s hard for two bucks to match the quality and complexity of a giant. This is more for daily use, while the ADG is for special occasions where you want to highlight sensuality.

It’s a classic Acqua di Gio Profumo, and although the scent is a repeat, it smells incredible and is almost 98% identical, with even better projection than the original. The name is ugly and unappealing, but its sillage lasts more than 8 hours. Maison Alhambra has a mess of names: Jorge di Profumo Deep Blue, Aqua, Jorge di Profumo… and although I avoid Acqua di Gio because they’re overused, girls go crazy for them and all my variants, just like the Invictus by P&G. It’s a perfect formula: I wear expensive perfumes and no one asks, but with this one, everyone says you smell good… nature is wise.

The opening is excellent, but the longevity is one of the worst I’ve tried from this brand. I have others with decent performance like Infiini Oud or Yeah, except for Jean Lowe Immortel. Generally, they last between 4 and 5 hours, but this one is a disaster. I’ve had it aging and airing out for over a month, and it hasn’t improved at all.

  • Diego Parfum de Marly

I’m not a fan of Maison Alhambra, but this one mimics the discontinued Profumo of Acqua di Gio. That’s why I bought it, and I must say it’s one of the best dupes from the brand: it smells very similar, the synthetic quality isn’t bad, but the funny thing is that over time it proves what everyone says: it doesn’t last at all! After an hour, it’s skin scent only.

  • Rich scent with that citrus and minty twist. It’s a much more polished version than the Aqua, but it surprises by lasting less and being subtler; on my skin, it lasts about 4 hours. 4.1/5. Edit: I was wrong. Using it daily, it lasts an hour longer than the Jorge di Profumo Aqua and evolves better, with a very well-balanced lavender. Perfect for everyday wear.

  • Nice aroma, it’s bitter citrus and very fresh with a fairly spicy part. The bitter citrus calms down and gives way to freshness with a sweet touch, with lavender always present. The bitter citrus makes it feel formal, like for a 15th or 18th birthday, a dinner, or a special event.

  • Tip: let the perfume macerate for a month and (even if it doesn’t work for everyone) leave it by the fridge door for a month; this extends the longevity by another 1-2 hours.

  • To sum it up: 95% similarity with A di G Profumo and the longevity is better than the original, lasting 10 hours compared to the original’s 6.

  • I tried it in-store smelling from the cap and loved it; it’s a slightly nineties, aromatic, and aquatic scent. Very masculine. A safe buy for those who like these fresh/masculine aromatic fragrances. I don’t know if it’s identical to Armani’s, but I loved it and it’s definitely a keeper for me.

  • It decently approaches Armani’s scent; the longevity is average, neither here nor there. On my skin, it fades after 4 hours and needs reapplication. I was gifted it months ago, tried it, and liked it. I used it almost daily for work. I have a bottle of the first batch of ADG Profumo with 20ml intact, and it pains me to use it now that it’s discontinued. This Jorge di Profumo isn’t identical and doesn’t compare in quality, but for the price, it’s an attractive option if you don’t want or can’t invest as much. I find it less complex and robust than the original, but it has its charm: rich, masculine, and elegant.

It’s a clone of Profondo, but watch out: the projection is minimal. Lasts about 6 hours on dry skin, just like the original. It’s super versatile and for $15, there’s no complaint, though the diffusion leaves much to be desired.

  • David Alfaro

Perfect clone! Ideal for summer with elegance. It’s 85% similar to ADG Profumo, missing a touch of wood, but here’s the kicker: it lasts longer than the original, 7 hours versus 5.

  • Benjasapee

Updating my review after almost half a year. The opening is exquisite and replicates the Acqua di Gio Profumo DNA at 80%. They’ve boosted the pepper and swapped the aquatic note for a fresh accord. Wearable in summer, but be careful with sprays in extreme heat. Projection and drydown fail a bit; the ingredients seem to compete with each other. After 6-7 hours, only strong pepper remains. As a scent, it’s sublime; as a perfume, I’m not sure I’d buy it again. I have a soft spot for it because it’s the closest to the irreplaceable Profumo and it was my first Arabic fragrance. If you grab it for under $14, it’s worth it.

  • Rchie_2003

Very similar dupe to Profondo, but with weak projection, though it lasts well on skin (about 6 hours). Like Profondo, it’s very versatile, but I repeat: the projection leaves a lot to be desired. For $15, you can’t complain.
