I tried it without looking for it and found it pleasant, in the line of Davidoff Silver Shadow but lighter, with less sillage. Apparently, it has the same longevity and projection as the Davidoff. The citrus notes are quite muted, almost imperceptible, and the pepper isn’t loud but noticeable. The iris doesn’t bother, and the base is ideal for this type of oriental scent. It’s a solid fragrance.
I’m repurchasing today. It’s a quite elegant fragrance I’d love to own. It suits a wide age range and exudes sophistication and class.
I bought it blind based on the note breakdown and have no regrets; it’s magnificent, delicious, and elegant. I have the Excellence Intense EDP version, which isn’t on the official website and differs slightly from the EDT. It starts fresh, sweet, and citrusy with spicy touches of tangerine, cardamom, and anise. Then iris and violet emerge, fresh and balanced by marine notes and orange blossom. The base of vanilla, amber, and tonka bean sweetens it without being overpowering, creating a resinous cream with a powdery, vanilla touch that I love. Lasts over 8 hours on my skin with moderate but noticeable projection. Perfect for mild climates and special nights, very sophisticated.
@darkbeat I also have the Intense. It’s a steal for anyone looking for an alternative to One Million, 212 VIP, or that style of scent. The result is excellent.
One of the best I’ve tried; Jaguar Excellence Intense EDP is a beast. Imagine 50% YSL Nuit Intense, mixed with 25% One Million Privé and another 25% Halloween Man. It starts with a blast of tangerines that turns anise, amber, and freesia. It’s brutal; while it smells like those reference fragrances, this one has a much more pronounced powdery touch.
