It’s a feminine perfume that a man could wear without any issues, thanks to that dry, talcum-powdered vibe from the violet and iris. I’m just starting to use it and really enjoy it, even though it’s categorized as feminine.

I like it! But don’t buy it blindly. It’s very different from what’s trendy right now. If you wear it, be sure no one else will smell the same. It’s elegant, unique, with a dark, dry touch—nothing sweet or powdery; the violet dominates. In my opinion, it’s not for teenagers, but rather for women 30 and up. You don’t need many sprays: it has high concentration and lasts long. It’s not light; it seems too heavy for hot climates, but it’s ideal for fall and winter, day or night.

Very feminine, delicate, powdery, sweet, and elegant! A few sprays last all day without losing potency. It feels like a magical scent, like a spell or a dream; it’s unique, and whoever wears it will stand out. I agree it gives off fairy or beautiful mythical creature vibes. Personally, I prefer the EDT over the EDP because it feels less heavy, though they’re similar. The best time to wear it is fall and winter.

I’ve read it’s the perfume of a fairy and I agree, provided we’re talking about that childish, familiar image, because ancient fairies were wild and cruel: they could take a traveler to a party, and by morning fifty or a hundred years would have passed, or even kill them and dip a cap in their blood, or make them walk in circles until they starved. Some were household guardians, but rare, due to a bad deal or circumstance, not out of pleasure. The main note is violet with red fruits, which sets it apart from other Insolences. The iris adds more talcum powder, while the sandalwood provides body and creaminess. Although violet is the signature here, it’s so intertwined with the red fruits that they’re both protagonists. That gives it a youthful, approachable touch, ideal for anyone wanting a violet-centered fragrance without vintage nuances. The red fruits highlight the warm, sweet, and cloying aspects of the flower, so it’s not for those who dislike violet, which is most people. It has good sillage and longevity. I see it well for summer nights to convey cheerful femininity. The pink liquid color represents the fragrance and the image it projects. I don’t recommend it for hot days because the violet expands, becomes sweeter, and can cause headaches. I like it for fall; it shines on rainy, cold days where the sandalwood takes the lead and gives a sense of thick wool or a fur blanket. I find it too floral and fruity for winter, and too heavy and fruit-focused for spring. Maybe use it on late spring evenings or nights when the heat rises and we crave a fruity touch. I don’t recommend it as a gift unless you know the recipient loves violets or is looking for a violet-based perfume.

Personally, I didn’t like it, but it is exactly what it claims to be. For those who enjoy violet and powdery iris, you will absolutely love it without a doubt.

I absolutely love it! It’s super girly, delicate, and beautiful—it makes me sigh 🥰 Smells like super sweet violets and iris, with a base similar to Versace Red Jeans but with much higher quality and extra notes like berries. The dry-down is similar, not identical, but definitely reminiscent. It lasts forever and has insane sillage. Be careful with sprays, it can be very strong! It’s divine, clean, sweet, elegant, sophisticated, and modern ❤️❤️❤️

I preferred the olfactive pyramid of the eau de toilette in the little bee bottle; it was more powdery. Here, they’ve added more notes, the violet feels more artificial (not as integrated), and as the hours pass, the vanilla overpowers everything. Why do they change the scent when they change the bottle? What’s with the habit of messing with what was working so well?
