I love it so much that I used it twice and will probably buy it again. I really like that woody touch mixed with aquatic notes; it’s perfect for the office because it’s not intrusive.
From the Cerruti family, this is my favorite. Maybe it’s not the most ‘unique,’ but it has character. It’s green, aromatic, and the woods smell glorious. Highly recommended for its very competitive price.
I’m Mexican, and on my skin, the woods are barely noticeable; what dominates is the plum and banana peel. It’s sweet but not overpowering. The longevity is short, about 3 hours, and the trail is very soft. After a couple of hours, it balances between woods and musk, becoming incredibly soft. That’s why I consider it ideal for any time and weather, and I didn’t hesitate to buy another bottle; for me, it’s a staple fragrance. I disagree with other reviews: I didn’t detect anything marine or green.
At first, that green blend of banana leaf, pear, and plum took me a bit by surprise. After four hours, something floral started to emerge, but not jasmine—more like fig leaves. By seven hours, boom! The sandalwood and amber woke up with force. The dry-down is skin-close with very soft musk, patchouli, and cedar. The best part is that base I managed to isolate: a green fragrance, not sharp but with personality. Perfect for daytime in intermediate seasons. The trail is moderate and lasted over 12 hours, though the last four were barely noticeable up close.
Honestly, it’s a great fragrance. I’m used to strong, persistent colognes, but you have to admit Cerruti Image is very well thought out. Its scent is almost a masterpiece that dismantles the arguments of those who talk about ‘bargains,’ since its price is competitive. It’s very refined in the opening and development, nothing intrusive, light but with something special and distinguished. The patchouli and wood base define it as masculine. Then there’s a blend of pear, plums, and musk that softens everything. I imagine the scent of a tree loaded with fruit on a sunny day. It’s a blessing for summer: very fresh but nothing generic. Not for those looking for heavy fragrances. Rating: 9.5.
I didn’t like it and expected much more after reading the reviews. It turns out to be too citrusy and herbal; I haven’t appreciated the wood that was promised.

It’s the fragrance I’ve liked the most. I met it at a store and bought it five years later because, even though I didn’t know what it smelled like, I remembered its scent: something familiar, perhaps due to the pear or banana leaf. It’s fresh but not aquatic like was trendy, nor offensive; instead, it’s soft and kind. Clean.
It was the first fragrance I used in my pre-teen years, in 2000 and 2001, so it’s special. It has a moderate sillage, lasting about 4 to 6 hours. Girls love it and go crazy for it. It’s sweet, fresh, and very masculine; after a few hours, it smells great on men. Longevity used to reach 10 to 12 hours. It works in moderate seasons, but it suits me better in winter. It’s good for the office, but gives better results in the afternoon when night is approaching; that’s when it releases its magic.
It’s a light, airy, and non-intrusive aroma with a creamy warmth. It’s simple yet refined and harmonious, with medium longevity and a soft sillage. Why do we spend so much on perfumes? To create an image and evoke emotions. This scent is pleasant, spring-like and summery, versatile, and you have to sniff it a few times to feel its magic. Ideal for work or casual moments; it gives a sense of freshness and cleanliness. The pear note is executed beautifully.
I started using it when I was young, buying it blindly at a mall for a great discount. It was a total discovery. It’s delicious—a perfect blend of floral, fruity, and oriental with a naturally sweet, exquisite touch, perhaps of cinnamon, that’s intoxicating. It’s very well balanced, rich, and natural. Great for all seasons: fresh opening and warm dry-down. Very versatile. Scent: 10/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10.
I’ve been using it since I was young. I bought several bottles blindly at a mall on sale, and it was a total discovery. It’s absolutely delicious; I can’t think of another way to say it. It’s a perfect floral-fruit-oriental blend with a natural, exquisite sweet touch, perhaps cinnamon, that’s intoxicating. An extraordinarily well-balanced perfume, very rich, very natural, and a great price. Truly delicious. For all seasons: fresh opening and slightly warm dry-down. Very versatile. Scent: 10/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10.
On my nose, the fig leaf and a hint of sweet anise stand out; there’s not much more, but it doesn’t need anything extra. It’s an honest and different perfume; it doesn’t last long or project strongly, but it feels clean and masculine. Perfect for spring and summer. I like it. 8/10.
It’s a 90s fragrance, green and fruity at first, then becomes more woody and linear. Today it’s out of fashion, so I see it as an old-school classic. It’s refreshing for summer. The longevity is just okay, about 2 to 4 hours, with a short sillage, but the projection is good for the first half-hour and fills a room of 2 or 3 square meters well.
I was gifted this in 2003 and bought it again on Amazon in 2023. It smells just like I remember, though I’m not sure if they reformulated it. It lasts very little: a fresh opening with pear and banana, evolving into jasmine and fig after about three hours, and finishing with an almost imperceptible woody base. I bought it for nostalgia, not performance. It’s pleasant, competes with classic Aqua di Gio or Issey Miyake, and is perfect for relaxing. I’d buy it again just for the memory.
They gave it to me as a gift in 2003, and I bought it again on Amazon in 2023; the scent is just like I remember it, though I’m not sure if they reformulated it. It doesn’t last very long. The opening is fresh, you can smell the pear and banana leaf, very youthful. It evolves into jasmine and fig leaves for about three hours, ending in a very light woody scent, almost skin-close. I bought it for nostalgia rather than performance. It’s pleasant, competing with an Aqua di Gio or a classic Issey in terms of freshness. I’d expect a longer-lasting version with better projection. It’s good for relaxing. I’d buy it again for that nostalgia.
It smells rich, fresh, and summery, in the same vein as Aqua di Gio but with a greener, fruitier twist. The banana leaf note is an olfactory joke; it smells like a dirty plant, not fruit, just like the ice or lava notes that don’t actually exist. Still, it has a special touch, comes in a nice bottle, and is ridiculously cheap, so it’s worth buying to use or collect.
