I used this back around 2006. In the opening, you feel the lemon and mandarin very refreshing, but not at a sport level. In the mid-stage, what predominates most is lavender with eucalyptus, finishing with a touch of vetiver. It’s nothing like its father, Grey Flannel; this one, being from the 90s, is one of those where you smell ‘clean,’ similar to an aftershave. A good choice for daily use.

  • Well, for an informal outing, it smells like barbershop lotion; it’s not unpleasant, but it could be mistaken for a catalog fragrance.

  • Have you ever smelled or owned Nautica Voyage? These are very similar scents. Almost the same moderate longevity, but this one is a bit more intense than Nautica. It’s viable for the office. Smells fresh and clean. Perfect for those days when you’re going grocery shopping.

  • I just acquired this, and if I detect a bit of anise, perhaps lavender stands out a bit more in the heart than patchouli, which I don’t detect. It feels very fresh; the longevity is medium, but what perfume surpasses it in the heat? Right now in my country, we’re in the middle of a heatwave. Overall, a good acquisition—fresh and with a youthful touch; I’m already past 40 and don’t feel it’s so much for a mature man.

I bought this 1997 fragrance about a month ago, which I was really eager to try. The opening is quite fresh with mandarin, lime, and some green notes; as it moves into the dry-down phase, you can feel the woody notes of sandalwood and vetiver, accompanied by a powdery musk that provides a clean sensation throughout the rest of this soft fragrance’s life. Lavender, eucalyptus, and slightly sweet anise are the notes that persist until the end. I find it ideal for daily use in an office setting, casual or informal outings, day or night, and certainly ideal for environments where the temperature is warm. Final conclusion: it’s an excellent fragrance for everyday life, gentlemanly, masculine, and suitable for all ages. Longevity: 5-6 hours. Projection: 1.5 hours, soft. Final rating: 7/10. Could its performance be improved? Yes, but given how accessible the price is, I don’t dare complain and just limit myself to enjoying it.

  • To me, this fragrance is too herbal, which is how I perceived it the day I tested it, but that day the weather was very cold. Another day I tested it with warm weather, and it felt a bit different, but it still feels very herbal for my taste. My opinion is that you WON’T RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS for it; it’s because of its strong resemblance (according to my nose) to a catalog fragrance called Nitro, which I’ve been using since I was a kid about 13 years ago. I understand that wearing it in enclosed spaces right after applying it will be annoying for you and those around you; I’ve had it happen several times that when I got into the car after wearing it, I had to turn off the AC because the smell was so intense it felt like my head was going to explode. Scent: 5/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 5/10 Would I buy it again? No. Uses: Casual, going out to eat outdoors. Avoid enclosed spaces if the application is recent.

Well, it’s not essential, but today I really needed something blue, so I picked it up. It has nothing to do with its predecessor ‘Grey Flannel’, though it has its own charm and a touch of sophistication. The issue is that at 24 degrees—the kind of autumn weather I’m used to—its longevity is short: less than three hours on my skin, and barely skin-scent after four or five. The sillage is weak but graceful. The opening does fill the room with notes of cypress and bergamot, giving way to lavender and a sparse vetiver that dries down to a bit of wood and some eucalyptus. Someone who loves Creed’s green scents or a younger generation wearer who doesn’t mind using a fragrance that leaves no mark could wear it without complaints. I won’t be buying it again.

Well, it’s not essential, but I was craving a little blue scent today, so I gave it a try. It has nothing to do with its predecessor ‘Grey Flannel,’ though it certainly has its own charm and a certain distinction. The issue is that at 24 degrees Celsius—the kind of autumn weather I’m used to—its longevity is short: less than 3 hours on my skin, and it fades to a skin scent after just 4 or 5 hours. The sillage is weak but graceful. The opening does fill the room with hints of cypress and bergamot, giving way to lavender and a scarce vetiver that dries down into a bit of wood and some eucalyptus. Someone who likes Creed Green or any young person from the new generation who doesn’t mind wearing a scent that doesn’t leave a mark could wear it without complaints. I won’t be buying it again.
