A curious fragrance from Dueto Parfums, an attempt to modernize classic vetiver notes. It blends citrus, spices, and woods, but its signature is vetiver with a touch of elemi that adds sweetness. Perfect for daily wear in spring and summer, ideal for those seeking fresh vetiver rather than the dark profile of Encre Noire. It leans closer to Grey Vetiver, though Tom Ford’s version has more potent citrus openings and a denser vetiver dry down. Dueto’s sweeter, less compact vetiver makes it feel more unisex and accessible. The vetiver smells a bit synthetic (like almost everything these days), but it’s not low quality. Longevity is good, lasting over 7-8 hours with moderate-to-low sillage; it projects better on clothes. I’m not a huge vetiver fan, but I liked it more than I expected.
