Descripción
Avon HerStory is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by Honorine Blanc and Adilson Rato. The top notes reveal a vibrant blend of bourbon pepper, bergamot, and peach blossom; the heart unfolds the elegance of iris, rose, and myrtle; while the base notes settle into the warmth of patchouli, benzoin, and vetiver.

HerStory by Avon: sweet with patchouli, lasts 2 to 4 hours with moderate sillage, suitable for ages 18+ in cold climates for casual wear. It’s a sweetness mixed with a strong, penetrating patchouli that amplifies the opening; after 5 minutes it softens and the gourmand side emerges—wintery, sweet, warm, with a caramel touch, even if they don’t describe it that way. They say it’s woody with white flowers, but once it dries down, it smells sweeter and more gourmand. On clothes, it lingers longer until you wash it. The bottle is beautiful, modern, and aesthetic, just like current gourmands. Among the official notes are Bourbon pepper, iris flower, and prism patchouli; the latter is the most noticeable, but it fades to reveal that sweet gourmand vibe. It’s a current scent for those who enjoy sweetness.
Honestly, I didn’t like it at all at first; the opening is alcoholic and it’s awful lol, but once it dries down, it becomes something exquisite and quite sweet… You have to let it dry for at least 10 minutes because it smells terrible at first—I don’t know why the change is so abrupt. It’s great for going out during the day for lunch or an afternoon snack. I’m still testing it, so I’ll add a more detailed review once I’ve worn it for a while.
I love its oriental and slightly powdery scent. It leaves a moderate trail that’s very recognizable. I really enjoyed it.
I love that oriental touch with a powdery base. It leaves a moderate but very distinctive trail. I really liked it.
It seems sweet and noticeable in moderation. The price varies, but keep an eye on sales as they’re usually very accessible. I really liked it. Normally, very strong fragrances give me a headache or allergies, but this is just right and perfect for sensitive people.
What a surprise! The opening reminds me of LVEB, Her Secret Temptation, or Imari Fantasy. I thought, ‘just another copy of La Vie Est Belle,’ and was already looking for someone to gift it to. But once it dries down, it leaves an exquisite, distinguished floral trail, leaving behind that penetrating sweetness that’s all the rage. I was absolutely charmed. A positive find, a blind buy that paid off…
Starts with a blast of alcohol that makes the fragrance evaporate quickly. After a while, a very soft, almost spicy floral appears on the skin, but it’s nearly imperceptible. It has that prickly sensation I notice in other Imari or Far Away scents. It has nothing to do with La Vie est Belle.
Totally agree with Keren. The opening smells like pure alcohol. I own LVEB and don’t see a shred of resemblance.
