  • It seems like an exquisite proposition from Lattafa, with its own touches that give it a unique personality; I don’t think it’s a dupe. It has an air of the Armani Code DNA but with notes I perceive as oriental; I would have believed it was a flanker of the Code if someone hadn’t told me. Acceptable longevity, nothing spectacular in that regard.

Hi! I was craving this perfume and got swept up by the reviews. Today I received Hayaati, and the first impression was plastic pool and natural leather bag before transitioning to vanilla. I only tried it once and it gave me a stomach ache. I’m a bit confused; maybe it’s my pH or I need to let it settle. The packaging is gorgeous, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying it blind.

  • I agree with Ayazdani: I see way more Armani Code than Om in this; I would have believed it was a flanker of the Code if someone hadn’t told me. It has oriental and spicy touches. It’s pleasant, though it can be overwhelming or too heavy. Good longevity.

  • I don’t own the Armani or Om Elixir. To me, it resembles Al Areeq Gold but less intense. Over time, it takes a different path, becoming more fruity with a new plastic-like scent, though sparklier and more pleasant. Pity the longevity and projection, but for the price, it’s worth more than the cost.

  • I really like it; the peach is very strong, more so than the leather. It’s extremely sweet, a bit excessive for my taste, but it works great for winter.

I love it in person. It’s not a loud or cloying perfume; it’s quite seductive. I’ve gotten tons of compliments, just like I did with Al Maleky from the same house.

  • The scent is rich, but the trail is very soft. After an hour, you can only smell it if you get really close to where you applied it.

  • It smells like sweet leather with fruity notes, especially the peach. I’ve worn it for a week and on my skin it lasts 4 to 6 hours, though the projection is under 2 feet. You can definitely catch hints of Armani Code, but not the newer versions.

  • I’ve been wearing this for weeks and it’s perfect for fall/winter. It has two distinct phases: the opening is super synthetic, like plasticized leather with a slightly soapy vibe, but after 45 minutes it transforms completely. The dry down is rich—literally gets better as it settles; the leather fades away to leave sweet vanilla with a suede-like base. I love it despite the artificial start. I don’t see it as a Code dupe. Good longevity and projection. 7/10 and the price is low.

  • Honestly, it didn’t really convince me. It feels very synthetic and, to me, smells unpleasant.

  • It’s far from being a replacement for Code Profumo. It has a Code vibe with that leather part, a bit musky, and tonka bean or vanilla. Gold Elixir is fruitier, and I can definitely smell the peach part in it. In terms of usage, I see it as more versatile than Code since GE is less elegant and I find it easy to wear without necessarily being well-dressed. Unisex for sure. Moderate longevity, and for me, very little projection. I think that’s its weakest point. What a pity. 4/10.

  • Alright, I’ve been wearing this perfume for a couple of weeks and want to share my experience without pretending to be an expert. I bought it blindly because the price around $20 caught my eye. When I first tried it, immediately after shipping, I was a bit disappointed because I smelled something different from what I expected and very synthetic; however, after 30 to 50 minutes, I started liking it more as the fragrance gave way to the declared vanilla (I recommend letting it rest before trying it). After using it for a couple of weeks, I can say that first off, it’s a somewhat synthetic perfume but nothing unpleasant; I think the notes are well declared, but I’d say it’s a bit sweeter than described, yet not a heavy sweet. The vanilla, which seems to be the most prominent note to me, blends very well with the fruity peach and that slightly synthetic leather base. If we talk about longevity, it’s what you’d expect from a perfume at this price point (moderate), while the sillage or projection is quite poor; for example, yesterday I sprayed 5 or 6 times, got in the car with a friend, and she didn’t notice it. For a sweet perfume, needing more than 8 sprays seems excessive to me, but I emphasize that for the price, it doesn’t matter. In conclusion, yes, I recommend buying it keeping the price in mind. It’s a fragrance I’d describe as edible and definitely with a rich smell. I’d say it’s unisex-masculine. And remember to be generous with the sprays.

The perfume is rich, you’ll smell good, it’s versatile, and not too sweet. It’s true it’s not a beast in terms of longevity; after about 4 hours, I stopped noticing it, though I’m not sure if it was olfactory fatigue, but others did smell it, albeit very faintly. Longevity: 4 hours on skin. Sillage: Subtle (apply multiple sprays to make it last longer).

  • PedroGT500

I liked it; it’s sweet but not excessively so like Mandarin Sky. The leather base, peach, and vanilla stand out. For me, it’s a blend between Ameer and Mandarin Sky. I got it for 370 on Mercado Libre, checked the batch, and it’s original.

  • This is one of the first fragrances I bought from Lattafa, and I have to say, it doesn’t disappoint at all. While the initial impression right after spraying can be a bit synthetic, it changes as it dries down, acquiring that sweet and slightly acidic character that is absolutely enchanting and lasts a long time. Without a doubt, it’s a great option considering its price and longevity; I consider it very versatile, though on very hot days it might become a bit cloying.

  • This is an extremely potent fragrance that shares the DNA of Armani Code Profumo and Absolu, but it would fit somewhere between them as a flanker. It’s a citrus/fruity scent with leather and vanilla notes, slightly sweet, warm, and creamy, masculine and elegant, with a prominent peach note that’s enchanting and gives it a sexy aura. It’s quite versatile for cold and mild climates, more for night than day, and thanks to the peach accords, it’s perfect for romantic dates. It boasts longevity exceeding 8 hours, with a moderate trail and lasting on clothes until they’re washed. Highly recommended.

  • I bought this thinking it was a dupe for the discontinued Armani Code Profumo, but it’s not :c. It smells like fruity leather with a strong vanilla presence; you have to take some time to get used to it. It’s preferably better worn in cold weather to enjoy its notes more. But if you’re looking for an Armani Code Profumo dupe, this isn’t it.

  • I picked this up for just 231 Mexican pesos, just for the deal and to bulk up my stash 😂. The first time I used it, I found it sweet and very artificial, and honestly, the performance wasn’t great, which I expected from something so cheap. After letting it sit for half a month, I went to work one day and only wore it for about two hours. I gave it a second chance, and I was surprised: while walking down the factory aisle, two women asked me what perfume I was wearing, saying it smelled great and they could smell it before even seeing me. After that, I started using it a bit more. It’s not a huge marvel, but it smells good, projects well, and is super affordable. The three Bs: good, beautiful, and cheap.

  • This was my first Lattafa fragrance. When I first tried it, I didn’t like it much, but over time it became one of my favorites: fruity with lots of vanilla, amber, and leather, though the opening was very synthetic. After smelling through my collection again, I came back to it and smelled something completely different from usual. I took it to the store and they exchanged it because it smelled bad, but they didn’t know why. I kept using it, and suddenly one day it changed back to that same ‘bad’ scent. I don’t know what’s going on; I don’t think it’s maceration since that happens while the perfume is aging. Maybe it turned sour, but I doubt it since I keep it cool and out of the sun. Maybe it’s the batch, but I haven’t seen any reviews with my exact situation.

Honestly, I grabbed this because the regular Hayaati wasn’t available, and to be fair, I’m not regretting it. It starts citrusy and fruity, but within seconds, leather and vanilla greet you. At first, it lasted about 3 hours, projecting only for the first 15 minutes, but once it settled, it jumped to 7 hours with solid projection for the first two. Many people find it more feminine, but I detect something very masculine in it. It’s ideal for daily winter wear; given the price, you won’t mind applying it frequently. In conclusion, it’s a fragrance with all three Bs, but you need patience to let it mature so it doesn’t disappoint on longevity.

  • A fragrance that depends on your taste; you need to like sweet and vanilla perfumes, prefer temperate or cold climates, and enjoy this style and fashion. It can easily surpass many designer scents. It’s a fruity (nectarine) vanilla scent with a good dose of leather. You can wear it very well if you’re dressed up; it’s a great occasion for it. It’s playful but elegant. Don’t let its price fool you; I’ve tried many costing up to 10 times more that in no way justify that expense. Since it’s linear and concrete, it’s very easy to use for layering wherever you want to add some more vanilla and sweetness, effortlessly turning casual scents into night scents. If you get it, don’t hesitate.

  • I find a slight resemblance to Gold Trophy, only that this one is less flashy and shifts toward a leather accompanied by vanilla and woods. For me, it’s enjoyable almost year-round, though in extreme heat I might skip it. It’s an easy-to-wear scent, not very complex, but undoubtedly enjoyable.

  • alecscosmo

A winter fragrance; leather, peach, vanilla, and amber predominate in that order. It has two easily distinguishable stages: the first 45-60 minutes is an extremely artificial and unbalanced opening between citrus and sweets that gives me nausea. In the second stage, as it dries down, you perceive a pleasant aroma where all four notes coexist in harmony. During the first week, the longevity was about 4 hours with mediocre projection that barely reached 60 minutes with effort; after letting it macerate for 5 weeks, it changed positively, lasting up to 10 hours on skin and projecting for the first 3 hours on clothes for days. I got it for $20, so for that price, it’s a considerable option, though I wouldn’t recommend it if you already have many skin/vanilla scents since it offers nothing novel.

  • monferastu

This perfume is more similar to One Million Elixir than to Code Profumo, which only reminds me of the latter due to the leather.

Hayaati Gold Elixir. One of my favorite notes is leather, and here it appears in a sweet, fruity, sometimes ‘chicky’ interpretation, accompanied by that white leather—nothing dark—with a fruity accord that highlights the peach. 🍑🧴◻️ Sensation.👜🧴🍓 It evokes a light-colored leather armchair (white, beige) with the trail of a woman who sat there before, leaving behind her typical sweet scent: vanilla, fruity, and amber. I have no problem imagining it as a leather bag with sunscreen and some body fragrance all mixed together. Many compare it to Armani Code Profumo and One Million Elixir; to me, it reminds me of the former mixed with the sweeter, flashier nuances of One Million Parfum. This just smells good and is very versatile. For those who want to try a leather scent that isn’t challenging but still gets compliments, there’s no failure here. They applied the old reliable formula: feminine accords with a touch of leather to make it unisex. Rating: 8/10. As I mentioned, this isn’t new to me since I own several of the same style, but with its super cheap price and good performance, it makes me use it for more casual occasions, leaving the others for special events.

  • rolandoaft

Extremely strong aroma; in my opinion, it leans more feminine. Every time I’ve tried it, it gave me a headache, and my partner experienced the same. I do not recommend it.

  • Javier_Ramirez

It depends on your taste. I’m not much of a fan of peach or leather notes, but this has a citrus touch that makes it more wearable. When I first tried it, people told me it ‘smelled like playdough, too synthetic, like a kid’s school smell’; that’s the uninformed and honest opinion. From my side, it’s a good fragrance and very economical. It deserves a spot in your collection if you want to carry something elegant yet informal for cold weather, offering something sweet that works even in heat. Excellent choice from Lattafa.

  • douglasens01

I want to note that I absolutely hate One Million. Surprisingly, this (Hayaati Gold) is very similar and made me like it. It’s an elegant, balanced, and sober fragrance that conveys high-quality materials—nothing synthetic or alcoholic. In my opinion, it suits a 30+ profile better and is shareable. I give it an 8/10.

  • Theradiologizt

Smells like a plastic doll, dried peach, very sweet, and soft leather. It’s pleasant, unisex, and I don’t use it often, but whenever I do, I always enjoy smelling it on myself. It’s linear and evolves very little. I’m not a big layering person, but I accidentally layered this with Oud Mineral TF, and it was a pleasant surprise.

  • I don’t detect leather; instead, it smells like something akin to a plastic doll, yet it smells great—very sweet and vanilla-forward. For the price, I don’t hesitate to fill up my bottle with sprays, and it’s perfect for daily winter wear.

  • medranofabs

Ugh… it smells like opening a box of leather shoes with a touch of citrus and vanilla. I loved it, and at work, I got tons of compliments. The longevity isn’t the best, but for the accessible price, it doesn’t matter. I recommend it for fresh weather and at night. I work in an office with AC and it’s not intrusive, so it’s perfect. If you work in the sun, I don’t think it will help much.

  • I reviewed it again because I sold it and regretted it. The suede with vanilla, peach, and amber wasn’t bad at all. On a well-dressed man, it’s crazy, and for the price, you can spray a lot without being overwhelming. It’s totally unisex, reminds me of Givenchy’s Xeryus from the 2000s. Rich, more feminine, meant to be worn by others, with the peach dominating.

  • I bought it for $13 to have something sweet and mix things up. The opening is very feminine, with peach and vanilla, like a 20-year-old girl for the club. As it dries, the peach disappears and vanilla takes over with a slight smoky touch, not enough to make it masculine. I don’t throw it away, but I think my wife or my mom will use it more than me.

  • I love this perfume. At first, I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I wear it in winter to go out with my girlfriend and she loves it. I’m already on my second bottle.

  • Hayaati Gold Elixir is warm, elegant, and oriental. From the first spray, it’s enveloping and sophisticated, with balanced sweet and amber notes. It evolves softly but with body, leaving a refined aroma. It’s not loud, but silky and perfect for special occasions or cold climates. It has a sensual touch that makes it easy to wear. It’s an interesting, balanced option with great value for money.

  • thesongofhecate

Hayaati Gold Elixir is everything I expected, even though I bought it blind. It’s unisex, warm, spicy, with an animalic touch. The notes I notice most are leather, saffron, vetiver, and amber. I recommend it for day or night, but only in winter. If you’re looking for something elegant and affordable, it’s for you.

  • I bought it blind for $14 and I have no regrets. It smells good, isn’t cloying, and lasted from 6 am to 3 pm, though it’s not quite as strong as it was at the start. It’s a good option for this cold weather; it’s less intense than my Khamrah which makes me sick quickly. I wouldn’t wear it in summer because it would be too much. Still testing it to see its projection.

  • First impression: what a rich-smelling fragrance for under $20. I saw it on TikTok and nailed it 100%. It smells fruity, sweet, and cozy leather with a citrus twist. The dry-down is great, it draws attention, and I’m sure it will get lots of compliments. I love it, I’ll wear it out and come back to report on its performance.

  • I bought it because it’s unisex and I like Lattafa. The problem is the leather: on me, it’s super strong and I can’t control it. It’s unbearable for me, even though it lasts forever and smells divine on others. I just can’t handle potent scents, so for me it’s a no, despite everything else being excellent.

  • Got this as a birthday gift, but in February here, the leather note is just too much. It doesn’t work for me or her; she prefers Adolfo Dominguez’s Agua de Azahar. Poor thing, people don’t recognize her the way I do.
