Testing a vial, I found a scent that transports you back to adolescence when you crushed and ate violet candies. To my nose, it’s fresh violets and real heliotrope, paired with a delicate but present benzoin and a subtle musk. At first, it smells creamy, almond-y, and sweet, but after 20 minutes, once the skin absorbs it, those flowers come out in perfect harmony with the benzoin and musk. The trail and projection are impactful, yes, with a capital I, despite being a tender and delicate aroma. It’s very potent, lasts over 10 hours, and even one drop makes its exquisiteness noticeable constantly. Highly recommended for any season.
The first thing that came to mind when I smelled it was Volupte EDT by Oscar de la Renta, which is way cheaper and projects much better. Florentina is more delicate, but for the price, I’m sticking with Volupte.

I really liked it. It’s an iris, heliotrope, almond, and violet perfume, very powdery with a slight spicy note. The almond, which I generally don’t like, has quite a bit of presence at the start, but here it’s soft, creamy, and shows its bitter side too. It recalls the Guerlain style, especially Après l’Ondée, though Florentina is less vintage. Florentina’s violet is natural and subtle, well-executed. Attention, as Mora says, this perfume has lots of presence and longevity despite its delicacy, and in my opinion, low projection. I put it on six hours ago and I’m still wrapped in it. It’s romantic, discreet, serene, perfect for daydreaming—a porcelain doll fragrance, clean, charming, poetic, and a bit nostalgic.
I absolutely loved it. It’s a blend of iris, heliotrope, almond, and violet, super powdery with a spicy touch. The almond, which I usually can’t stand, shines here at the start but settles into something soft, creamy, and with a bitter undertone. It reminds me of Guerlain, like Après l’Ondée, though Florentina feels less retro. Its violet is natural and subtle, very well done. Just a heads-up, as Mora says: it has huge presence and longevity despite how delicate it is; to me, it projects very little. I wore it six hours ago and I’m still wrapped in it.
