Exotic Waters by Avon

Very rich and youthful. I bought Born in Roma Donna Coral Fantasy and it reminded me of this until I found the roll-on; they’re almost identical, what a pleasant surprise! It’s hard to find nowadays. Very fresh and citrusy, an orangey top note at first, then more fruits and rich feminine florals come out (I’m not usually a floral person, but these are the exception). Totally worth it for the price.

I had this years ago. It was very fresh, body-scent-like but with good longevity and sillage for the price. The downside was that the blue bottle stained my clothes. Edit: I just bought a mini rollerball to remember it, and it transports me back to those times. It smells delicious, sweet, aquatic, and fresh. It’s very similar to Davidoff’s Cool Water, but you can detect more musk, and the opening isn’t as soapy.

I don’t like it. I bought Marc Jacobs Day blindly, and hushhh waxala smells exactly like this Exotic Water from Avon—they’re identical.

I can’t stand it. They keep giving it to me even though I hate it; it haunts me. I already have three bottles and I can’t handle it. It’s very fresh; at first, it smells nice with melon, aquatic, and fresh notes. But that fruit note makes it smell like disinfectant or powder bath soap; every time I used it, I smelled extremely clean, as if I’d absorbed the scent of bathroom soap 🤣. I hope no one else decides to gift me another one. Even a body mist from the supermarket would be more pleasant.

What a cheerful and fresh scent! It arrived in a mini size and I bought it blind; I love it for the beach. It’s aquatic and fruity (exalted melon and tangerine on my skin) with a touch of gardenia florals. Recommended for hot days since it doesn’t last as long in the cold.

To start, I’m surprised to find Avon perfumes here—not because they’re bad, just because they’re so affordable and easy to get. A few years ago, I could get two 50ml bottles for $100, and I was thrilled. Call it cheap, common, or run-of-the-mill, but I’m head-over-heels in love with this perfume. I bought it 13 years ago for my vacation in Acapulco, and smelling it is and always will be the best part; I have feelings for this perfume because of the memories it evokes. But, as obvious as it is, the longevity isn’t great. I’m searching for a prestigious brand that smells exactly the same. However, Exotic Waters has all my love.

Just got this as a gift, and regarding this perfume, I can only say it has great sillage and longevity. It smells like sweet candies and is fresh for hot seasons, totally summery. It’s very tart, and that’s why I didn’t like it entirely; it seems a bit synthetic, like a body splash. I don’t plan to use it because it has a very sharp cucumber note, and I don’t detect any rose, jasmine, or gardenia. It’s a very generic little perfume. Currently, I’m wearing it on the back of my hand to give it a chance, but on my skin pH, it doesn’t shine like many others from this brand, and I just don’t like it for use. It wasn’t a big deal for me. The bottle isn’t very large, and I’ll be gifting it—that’s where I stand with this little perfume.

In my opinion, it’s a citrus perfume. Fresh, I detect a fresh cucumber scent, and it’s the first time I haven’t disliked the aquatic note. It has a subtle sweet touch, not much, it’s super light. So wearable for everyday. On my skin, it lasted about 4 hours. For the price and size, you can easily carry it in your bag without any issues.
