  The described notes should be identical to Elite Gentlemen Reserve, as it’s basically the same fragrance with a different name. I’d call it Vétiver Reserve or Gentlemen Vétiver Reserve because it smells overwhelmingly of vetiver and almost nothing like Exclusive; it has a serious, formal character, perfect for the office. The drydown is rich, with watermelon and very fresh, generic ozonic notes, but a spicy twist gives it distinction. Unfortunately, that fruity, fresh opening lasts only 5 to 10 minutes before shifting to a sweet vetiver facet with cardamom that lingers until the end on clothes. In my case, perhaps due to my skin’s pH (I don’t have dry skin), it doesn’t last more than 2 hours; afterward, you have to press your nose close to catch any lingering amber. My conclusion is that it’s a rich, ephemeral fragrance with a formal character and extremely short longevity, but given its low price, it’s a good and distinguished option. Don’t be fooled—it may seem fresh, but its woody evolution makes it more suitable for the middle of the season.
