Alberto Morillas is an old fox with his own playbook: if Philipp Plein brings a good budget, he crafts it to conquer the night. If O Boticario comes in low, he grabs the No Limit$ scent with low-cost materials and turns it into a plastic-y, functional daytime version. Without flashiness, it fulfills its purpose: a perfume with a nocturnal soul that also works for formal, elegant days without hiding its low-cost composition. The Blend conveys warmth; that rum note with spicy nuances gives it a serious tone ideal for those over 30. It’s not a beast in terms of sillage, more discreet yet not a whisper like many mainstream fragrances today. If you catch it for 15-20€, it could be an interesting option. Just note, it won’t appeal to everyone.
I own 85 perfumes and brought this one on vacation to Brazil. The more I wear it, the more exquisite it becomes. I know the lab’s DNA must be overused there, but for me, it’s a unique novelty. It has great longevity and sillage, compliments never fail to come. An excellent perfume.
