First time I’m buying an Armani and honestly, I didn’t like it much. I’d use it for work, it gives an image of someone over 30. It smells of intense praline mixed with sour raspberry and patchouli, like bitter chocolate. The bottle is really cute, I have the 30 ml, but I think there are better options. Even Britney’s ones smell richer.
I had it tucked away in a drawer. I took it out because of a sale and at first it wasn’t what I expected; I was looking for something sweet, gourmand-style. But now, in autumn, I absolutely love it. To me, it smells of sugary, dusty violets, very feminine. I get lots of compliments. It’s ideal for going out at night in winter, a beautiful fragrance, long-lasting with a powerful sillage.
I tried it again after a while, and look, it smells of violets, but those bitter ones, nothing sweet. I let myself be carried away and bought it without smelling it, and that’s where it stayed forgotten because it just didn’t convince me. Sometimes I use it when it’s cold and I don’t want to smell as gourmand as usual, but I already remember why: it has something, maybe it’s the patchouli or the lily of the valley that makes it so bitter? I don’t know, but the longevity is weak and I was disappointed again.
